Perrie Lee Wright, age 76, of Waukegan, IL departed this life on July 13, 2003 at the Pavilion of Waukegan nursing home after a lengthy illness.
She was born October 9, 1926 in Enterprise, AL to the union of Nash and Mandy Lee McInnis. She has been a resident of this area for many years. She was a member of Christian Love M.B. Church in Zion, IL.
She leaves to cherish her memory four step-children, Ruby (Michael) Robinson and Amos (Lillian) Laster, Sr., both of Waukegan, IL, Verlee Brockman of Chicago, IL and Hazel Laster of Erie, PA; a god-child, Linda (L.H.) Brown of North Chicago, IL; a loving cousin, Mary Bell of Lake Bluff, IL; other special cousins, Keith and Kent Bell of Lake Bluff, IL, Leslie Crockman and Shannon Crockman both of Waukegan, IL, April Powell of Grayslake, IL, Angela (Gaylord) Davis of Beach Park, IL, Michelle Green of Zion, IL and Kay Smith of Northbrook, IL; also a host of other loving family and friends including Mr. Mark Overton, Mrs. Betty Williams, Mrs. Ethel Washington and family and Ms. Kittie Harden.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the Christian Love Missionary Baptist Church, 2203 Lewis Avenue, Zion, IL. Pastor Norman Taylor, officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park cemetery, Zion, IL. Charlotte Isabelle Landers Borden
Charlotte Isabelle Landers Borden peacefully went to live forever with her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on Good Friday, March 29, 2002, surrounded by her loving family at her home in Phoenix, AZ. She was the only child of Joseph Landers and Mildred Hardie Landers, born in Zion, Illinois September 12, 1912. Charlotte was a faithful and lifelong member of the Christian Catholic Church in Zion. She married
Lloyd W. Borden in 1931 and they enjoyed sixty-three years together before Lloyd passed away May 2, 1994. Charlotte and Lloyd had three children, Robert L. Borden, Phoenix, AZ; Darwin L. Borden (Marilyn R. Peterson), Robbinsdale, MN; Bonita K. Kiester (Jack L.), Bradenton, FL. Their grandchildren include Patrick Borden (Jacque), Reno, NV; Myra Borden, Maple Grove, MN; Ryan Borden (Laurie), Socorro, NM; Brian Kiester (Jackie), Bradenton, FL; Darin Kiester (Blanca), Glendale, AZ; and Drew Borden, deceased. Great-grandchildren include Patrick and Kimberly Borden, Reno, NV, Jacob and Andrew Kiester, Brandenton, FL, and Brandon Kiester, Glendale, AZ.
Charlotte was a long term member of the Dorcas organization of her church, provided leadership and support for communion element preparation, and created the first altar cloths for the new church building on the temple site. She loved to travel and visited the British Isles and France. A highlight of her trip was a visit to the Irish and Scottish cities where two of her grandparents were born. Charlotte cherished her family and many friends and was faithful in keeping in touch by phone calls and letters. Her cheerful smile and friendly manner endeared her to everyone she met.
Family and friends will celebrate her life at 1:00 P.M., June, 26, 2002 at Christ Community Church (formerly Christian Catholic Church), 2500 Dowie Memorial Drive, Zion, Illinois, with burial in North Shore Garden of Memories, North Chicago, IL. Eugene C. Bzdawka
Eugene C. Bzdawka, 72, of Lindenhurst passed away suddenly Thursday, April 18, 2002.
He was born April 15, 1930 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Stephen and Agnes (Erdman) Bzdawka.
He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee moving to Waukegan, IL in 1966 and later to Lindenhurst in 1969. Before his retirement, he worked as a Deputy Lake County Clerk in the Tax Extension Department. He also served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. On May 29, 1954, he married
Delores Blaskowski in Wausau, WI.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Delores; his loving children, Eugene of Madison, WI, Ronald (Darlene) of Lindenhurst, IL, Barbara (Bill) McDermott of Zion, Debora (Darwin) Kufahl of Wausau, WI, Susan (Mark) Ring and Sally (Tim) Harvey both of Antioch; dear grandfather of Thomas, Jennifer, Billy, Kelly, Dustin, Deric, Eric, Nicole, Jake and Maxwell; dearest great grandfather of Tristan, Alex and Ethan; and fond brother of Joan Bzdawka of Madison, WI and the late Lavern Miller and Lillian McCarron.
Funeral Services with Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Monday, April 22, 2002 at Prince of Peace Church, (Rte. 83) Lake Villa, IL. Interment will be in Ascension cemetery, Libertyville, IL.

Beverly S. Clements
Beverly S. Clements, 68, of Winthrop Harbor, IL died Thursday, April 18, 2002.
Beverly was born December 10, 1933 in Vernon County, WI and was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waukegan and the Woman's Club of the Church.
Beverly is survived by two daughters, Camille Everett of Winthrop Harbor and Hilary Clements of Duluth, GA; a brother, Adrian Brudos of Madison, WI; and three sisters, Grace (Gordon) Ross of Eau Claire, WI, Marlene McDonald of Novato, CA and Betty Olson of Inver Grove Heights, MN.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Clarence and Hilda Brudos; her first husband, Michael Clements; her second husband, Phillip Clements; and a brother, Helmer Brudos.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 658 Grand Avenue, Waukegan with Pastor Dennis Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
Visitation for friends and relatives will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 PM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion.

Ida Mae Daniels departed her earthly life to join her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ on Monday, April 15, 2002.
Ida Mae was born October 22, 1927 to Nellie and George Daniels in Hernando, Mississippi.
She came to Waukegan in 1952 and has resided here for 50 years.
Ida Mae leaves to cherish her loving memory her step father, Grover Hunt; a brother, Johnny Daniels of Tucson, AZ; two step brothers, Frank and Jessie Hamilton of North Chicago; two children, her son, John (Yvonne) McKinney and her daughter, Carolyn Mackins, both of Waukegan; six granddaughters and a step granddaughter, Venus (Carl) Childs of Kenosha, WI, Vicki McKinney, Lisa (Dillard) Dabney, Stephina Jones, Iesha (Clifton) Bennett of Canyon Country, CA, Sanetra and Phoenicia Jones; 14 great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; two very special and close cousins, Eddie (Pearl) Moss and Fannie Mae Dye; longtime friends, Mrs. Essie Walters and Mrs. Lousie Duncan; a very special son-in-law, David Jones; also a host of special family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Daniels and Nellie Hunt.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, April 23, 2002 at the Christian Valley M.B. Church, 2690 Argonne Drive, North Chicago, IL with Rev. Gerald Wilcoxen officiating. Entombment will be at Warren cemetery, Gurnee, IL.

Jennie Del Conte, 88, a resident of Winchester House, formerly of Waukegan, passed away April 18, 2002 at Condell Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1913 in Waukegan.
Survivors include 1 son, Lewis (Mary) Del Conte of Libertyville; 1 daughter, Jean Marie (the late Dudley) Ryan of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren, Susan (Ed) Baumann of Schiller Park, IL, Jody (Manuel) Ortiz of Waukegan and Sandra Ryan of Las Vegas, NV; 3 great grandchildren, Isabella Marie Baumann, Marco Ortiz and A.J. Ryan; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary (John) Podobnik and Betty (Rudy) Podobnik; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William; parents, Frank and Johanna (Hodnik) Podobnik; sister, Anna Brnot; brothers Albin, Andrew, Frank, John, Mike and Rudy.

Thomas E. Juresk, age 76, a resident of Waukegan, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2002 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan.
Burial will be private.

Charles W. Lippert
Charles W. Lippert, 89, a life long resident of Waukegan, Illinois died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at Provena St. Therese Hospital.
He was born November 12, 1912 and was married
to Helen Uksas on November 18, 1933 in Zion, and celebrated 69 years of marriage together.
He was retired as a driver for Vogue Cleaners of Waukegan after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Church of the Annunciation of Gurnee. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during WW II and was a member of American Legion Homer Dahringer Post #201.
He is survived by his loving wife Helen, his loving son David and wife Wanda Lippert of Lindenhurst, IL., loving grandchildren, Michael (Carol) Lippert of Gurnee, Daniel (Victoria) Lippert of Antioch, Jill Archbald of Gurnee and Jacqueline Lippert of Waukegan, loving great grandchildren, Kendall, Robert, Kiley and James.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Norma, Evelyn and Bernice and a brother, Alroy.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2002 at the SALATA GURNEE FUNERAL HOME, 4190 Old Grand Ave., Gurnee. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the Church of the Annunciation, corner of Dilleys and Stearn School Roads, Gurnee. Interment will follow at North Shore Garden of Memories.
Gerald E. Locke
Gerald E. Locke of Waukegan, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2002. He was born January 20, 1941 and was a graduate of Northern Illinois University. He was a Boy Scout Leader in Waukegan for many years and enjoyed camping and animals.
Survivors include a nephew, Dale Bemis of Bartow, Florida and a sister, Judith Locke of Jamestown, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Locke and his mother, Pauline Locke.
Services will be held in LaSalle, IL. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Humane Society.
Wayne Lowe
Wayne Lowe, 79, of Grayslake, IL passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL.
He was born July 28, 1922 in Kadac, KY and was a former resident of Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in North Africa and Italy during World War II and was a Certified Nurse and former employee of the Kings Mountain Retreat in Cincinnati and Ohio State Mental Hospital in Dayton.
Surviving are his children, Claudia (Carl) Stewart of Natrona Heights, PA and Ronald (Renee) Lowe of Grayslake, IL; four grandchildren, Mike and Jeff Conner and Tim and Bob Stewart; and his brother, Arthur Lowe of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Marilan Lowe; and by his wife, Mabel Darlene Lowe in 1992.

Nancy Lee Miller
Nancy Lee Miller, 66, of Blue Eye, Missouri passed away at 9:10 p.m., April 16, 2002 at Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson, Missouri.
Born February 2, 1936 in Waukegan, Illinois she was the daughter of the late David C. and LaVerna C. (Hapke) Jenkins. Nancy was a retired chef after 15 years from the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #667 in Zion, Illinois, where she was a member of the Women of the Moose #859.
Surviving is a daughter Judy Miller of Blue Eye, Missouri. 2 sisters, Faye and her husband Wayne Stickler of Kimberling City, Missouri and Joy Ann and her husband Robert Menze of New Jersey. 2 nieces and a nephew.
Preceding her in death were her parents and 2 brothers, Jerry Jenkins and Donald Jenkins.
No services are planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of GREENLAWN FUNERAL HOME, Branson, Missouri.
William T. Petty
William T. Petty, 86, of Zion died Thursday, April 18, 2002 in Zion.
William was born June 15, 2925 in Fulton, MS and came to Zion in 1948. He was retired from John-Manville after working there for 33 years.
William is survived by his wife, Irene; a son, James (Susan) Petty of Winthrop Harbor; two grandchildren, Nanette Petty of Baraboo, WI and Andrew Petty of Winthrop Harbor; three sisters, Tula Stanphill of Fulton, Opal Hall of Jacksonville, FL and May Miller of Golden, MS; and four brothers, Noonan (Mildred) Petty, Herschel (Genevier) Petty, Ezell (Bobby) Petty and Martell (Hazel) Petty, all of Golden, MS.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Betty McDonald Petty; and a brother, Durell Petty.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 22, 2002 at 1 PM at the CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion with Chaplain Bill Oestreich officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.

Alvin J. Riedy
Alvin J. Riedy, 87, of Libertyville, formerly of Waukegan, died April 18, 2002 in Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born September 27, 1914 in Chicago and lived in Waukegan since 1938. Mr. Riedy had retired from Johnson Motors in Waukegan in 1970. He was a member of St. Anastasia Parish where he sang in the church choir. He was a member of the Waukegan Barber Shop quartet and sang bass at numerous events. He was an avid fisherman and would choose his vacation spot based on how well the fish were biting.
He is survived by his children Evelyn (Neal) Hartman of Libertyville, Jim Riedy of Virginia and John (Shirley) Riedy of California; his grandchildren Brad (Catherine) Hartman, Kristin (fiance Frank Pezzello) Hartman, Douglas (Aliscia) Riedy, Marcy (Douglas) Draculich, Robert (Laura) Riedy, Marlene (Scott) Lipe, Norman Riedy and Sasha Riedy; 7 great grandchildren and his brother Edmund Riedy of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Catherine.
A memorial mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at St. Joseph Church, 121 E. Maple Street, Libertyville. Interment at Ascension cemetery. Inice V. L. Smith, 77, a recent resident of Libertyville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2002 at the Winchester House in Libertyville.
She was born September 24, 1924 in Stiritz, IL, lived in Lake Villa for many years and was a resident of West Frankfort, IL for the past 12 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Patricia (James) Brenton of Lake Villa; and her grandchildren, Jason and Carly Brenton.
