Tania Morales, 22, of Waukegan passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2003 in Chicago. She was born May 10, 1980 in San Diego, CA. Tania loved to dance and model, she also loved children and had a special ability to communicate with them. She was presently attending College of Lake County and was employed at the Lake County Health Department as a Public Health Assistant.
She is survived by her daughter, Yanacia Rodriguez; her mother, Carmen Sierra of Waukegan; brother, Rafael Morales of California; two aunts, Julia (Hector) Alaniz and Juanita (Jose) Salinas both of Waukegan; grandmother, Eladia Cotto of Puerto Rico; also by cousins in Waukegan, California, Puerto Rico and the Philippines as well as aunts and uncles in Puerto Rico, California and the Philippines.
She was preceded in death by her father, Craig Morales, grandfather, Justo Sierra and grandparents in the Philippines.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17, 2003 at Holy Family Church, 450 Keller Ave., Waukegan with Fr. Gary Graf officiating. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at PETERSON-PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Ronald Dean Olson, age 64, a resident of Spring Grove, IL for the past 33 years, died Monday, April 14, 2003 at home. He was born on December 10, 1938 to Raymond and Mary Louise (nee Theis) Olson in Chicago, IL and married
Patricia (nee Anhalt) on September 7, 1963. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was an Ornamental Architectural Ironworker for Local #63 for 41 years before his retirement. He enjoyed basketball, horseback riding, vacationing by motorhome in the Wisconsin Dells and spending time with his family. An avid gardening enthusiast he maintained large vegetable and flower gardens, and enjoyed passing along his abundance to others.
Survivors include his daughters Laura (Michael) Blake of Antioch, IL and Diane Olson of Spring Grove, IL; his grandchildren Melissa, Nicole and Monica of Spring Grove, IL and Hunter and Amber of Antioch, IL; his sisters and brother Carole (Lyle) Anderson of Duluth, MN, Linda (Ronal) Jackson of South Elgin, IL, Jennie (Tom) Tillman of Woodstock, IL, and Paul (Judy) Olson of Vienna, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Olson on June 29, 2001 and by his parents.

Michael Paukovac
Michael Paukovac, 84, of North Chicago passed away on Monday, April 14, 2003 at his home. He was born August 21, 1918 in North Chicago and remained a lifelong resident.
He was a former member of Mother of God Parish and prior to his retirement worked at Refiners and Smelters in North Chicago for 26 years.
He is survived by two sisters, Ann Thompson of North Chicago and Emily Orloski of St. Paul, MN; his nephew, Rich (Judy) Thompson of Winthrop Harbor and nieces, Diane (Walter) Truby of Grayslake, Susan Henry of St. Paul, MN, Nancy (Matt) McNerney of Connecticut and Andi Paukovac; sister-in-law, June Paukovac as well as several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva (nee Banko) Paukovac and two brothers, Andrew and John Paukovac.
Private funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at PETERSON-PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd. Waukegan with Fr. Paul J. Cull officiating. Interment was at Ascension cemetery. Visitation was from 9 a.m.
Wilbur F. "Pete" Peterson
Wilbur F. "Pete" Peterson, 84, of Lake Villa, IL passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2003 at Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry, IL.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 27, 1918, the son of the late Albert J. and Anna (nee Hornburg) Peterson. He was a resident of Lake Villa for 25 years, formerly of Broadview, IL. He was a long time active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Lindenhurst, IL. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the VFW Post 4308, Lake Villa. He was a member of the Chain O'Lakes Model A Club. He married
Mildred Babirak on February 3, 1940. They celebrated 63 years together.
He was the beloved and cherished husband of Mildred; devoted father of Ted of Elgin, IL and Judy (Edward) Beaty of St. Louis, MO; loving grandfather of Bradley (Tina) Beaty of Crystal City, MO and Carly (Jesse) Baker of Houston, TX; great grandfather of Alex Beaty and Addison and William Baker; brother of Evelyn Gretzema of Seminole, FL. Also surviving is a niece, a nephew and many cousins.

Katlyn A. Sahlberg, 7, of Waukegan, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at St. Therese Medical Center. She was born August 17, 1995 in Evanston, IL. Katlyn had attended Whittier Pre-School and Clearview School in Waukegan.
Survivors include her parents Mark and Lisa Sahlberg; two sisters, Valerie Bentley and Michelle Marie Sahlberg; paternal grandparents, John and Arthurline Sahlberg of Sun City, AZ; maternal great grandfather, Oliva; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Barbara Thomas.

John L. Dobrzenski
John L. Dobrzenski, 43 of Waukegan, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at home.
John was born August 10, 1961 in Waukegan to John and Marilyn Dobrzenski. He was a graduate of Waukegan West High School class of 1979.
He loved to ride his Harley and go fishing at his cabin in Biggsville, Wisconsin, as well as snowmobiling and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He was the best Harley mechanic that could be found. He was a mechanic at Mariani Landscaping and previously at Ron and Brian's Suzuki. Friends were always welcome where the beer was always cold.
John is survived by his wife, Jennifer whom he married
on April 26, 2000 in Hawaii; his mother, Marilyn; sister, Jody (Jim) Ohlwein; one nephew, James Deadrick; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John; his paternal grandparents, John and Sylvia Dobrzenski; and maternal grandparents, Louis and Marie Kuznik.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 4-8 P.M. at the Salata Funeral Home of Gurnee, 4190 Old Grand Avenue, Gurnee. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Wednesday at the funeral home with interment to follow at Warren cemetery in Gurnee.

Pauline M. Frank, a resident of Grayslake passed away Thursday, April 14, 2005 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville at the age of 80. She was born May 27, 1924 in Greenfield, TN to the late Carl and Eva Childress. Pauline had worked for a long time in Lincolnwood for Normie's Restaurant and was a longtime member and volunteer of the Shomrim Society. She loved to dance and was loved by many.
Pauline is survived by her children, Howard (Carol) Butler, Bettie (Frank) Loebbaka, David Butler, and Sue (Tim) Lawler; her grandchildren, Jason, Kelly, Jennifer, Jackie, Lindsay, Sherrie, Diana, and Katrina; her 11 great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mary Sue Baxter, Gilbert Childress, James Roy Childress, Nell Mitchell, Carlene Hawks; and a special friend, Carl Heckman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Vernon Childress and Thomas Childress; her great-grandson, Jake DeFilippo; and her husband, Bernie Frank.

Payton David Franks, age 3, of Kentwood, MI, formerly of Zion, IL, precious son of David and Mary Franks, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 and is now safe in the arms of Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert DeVries; and a cousin, Wyatt Timothy DeVries.
