Helen P. Linderholm
Helen P. Linderholm, 86, of Waukegan passed away Sunday, April 4, 2004 at the Terrace North Nursing Home in Zion. She was born April 10, 1917 in Oshkosh, WI and married
Ralph Linderholm June 26, 1937 in Waukegan, IL where she has lived for the last 75 years. Helen had a great love for animals and children. She also practiced helping her fellow man both spiritually and financially. She cared about and welcomed people all the same and trusted people and would help anyone for any reason and was a friend to all. She loved family, friends and life very much and was loved as much in return.
Helen is survived by three children, Helen (Tom) Drennen, David (Kathy) Linderholm and Roy (Lynn) Linderholm of Waukegan; seven grandchildren, Terri Drennen, Michael Drennen, Lisa (Jed) Randall, Erik (Yvonne), Shari, Roy and David Linderholm; and a great grandchild, Tristan; two half brothers, Edward Barrett of Lake Tomahawk, WI and Norman Nichols of Lake Elsinore, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph in 1981; a son, Ralph "Butch"; a grandson, James; two brothers, Harold and Herb Nichols; and a half sister, Doris.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 5 to 8 PM at the GURNEE-SALATA FUNERAL HOME, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee.
Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pineview cemetery in Beach Park, IL.
Susan C. Maiorca (nee Rudolph)
Susan C. Maiorca (nee Rudolph), 55, of Gurnee, IL passed away Saturday, April 3, 2004 at the Evanston Hospital. She was born April 8, 1948 in Chicago, where she was a 1966 graduate of Alvernia High School. Susan was a member of the Church of St. Mary in Lake Forest and was a loyal and dedicated employee of the Colbert Packaging Corporation in Lake Forest.
Susan was the beloved daughter and best friend of Albert and Irene (nee Niedziela) Rudolph of Gurnee; loving mother of Thomas (Erin) Maiorca of Glenview and Linda (Scotty) Klepac of Libertyville; cherished grandmother "Mah" to Charlie, Logan, Christian, Wesley, Teddy and Anthony.
Prayers will begin at 9:45 AM Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176), Libertyville and services will continue to the Church of St. Mary for Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines. Eileen M. (Keller) Zannini
Eileen M. (Keller) Zannini, 86, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, formerly of Waukegan and Antioch, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2004. Eileen was born in Chicago, IL on June 6, 1917 to Richard A. and Elisabeth A. Keller. She was a graduate of Alvernia High School (1934) and the College of St. Theresa in Winona, MN (1938).
Eileen resided in Hayden Lake, ID for the past 25 years and prior to that she was a resident of Waukegan and Antioch, IL. She was a member of St. Pius Church and a former member of Immaculate Conception and St. Peter's Churches.
Throughout her life, Eileen was active in many church and community organizations; The Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters, Birthright and Girl Scouts. She also served as the first woman President of the Waukegan Park Board. Eileen was a multi-talented woman whose interests included sewing, knitting, bowling, golf, bridge, fishing, crossword puzzles and travel (often to visit some member of her large family).
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Eugene P. Zannini; brothers, Richard A. and Robert A. Keller; and sister, Lois (Keller) Coughlan.
She was a loving mother to six daughters and a son, Teddy (Lonny) Marchant of Alexandria, VA, Bobbie Pelfrey of Fairview Heights, IL, Cathie (Fred) Carrubba of Pleasant Prairie, WI Jeanne Norton of Lindenhurst, IL, Julie (John) Ukich of Hayden Lake, ID, Joellen (Jim) Kaster of Minneapolis, MN and Butch (Julie) Zannini of Eaton Rapids, MI; 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Church, Grand Ave and West St., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation will be held at PROKO FUNERAL HOME, 511 60th Street, Kenosha, WI, 262-654-3533 from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2004.

Eunice C. Bickham
Eunice C. Bickham, 84, of Waukegan, died on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Rolling Hills Manor Nursing Home in Zion.
Eunice was born February 18, 1921 in Des Plaines, IL, and except for living in Florida for 23 years, has lived her entire life in Waukegan. She belonged to Cornerstone Community Church of Waukegan and she did volunteer work for the Red Cross.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Frank (Sandra M.) Zradicka of Waukegan; three grandchildren, Connie Hammond, John (Joan) Zradicka and Steve Zradicka; and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Zradicka and Danny Hammond.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Bickham; one brother, Clarence Beck; and her parents, John F. and Lillie (nee Hoelter) Beck.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago, with Pastor John Jenkins officiating. Congdon Funeral Home, Zion, is handling arrangements.
Elizabeth A. Bryson
Elizabeth A. Bryson, age 69, of Waukegan, Illinois passed away April 3, 2005 at the Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, IL.
She was born in Evanston, IL on June 22, 1935.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra (Aubrey, Sr.) Jordan of Waukegan, IL; two grandsons, Christopher and Aubrey Jordan, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Savion, Brianna, Alexis and Jasmine Jordan; two sisters, Mary Marsh of California and Shirley Cobb of North Chicago, IL; several dear friends, Naomi Jarmon, Ruth Hicks and Bill Ward; also a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gideon Missionary Baptist Church, 1500 Ridgeland Avenue, Waukegan, IL. Pastor Wade A. Stevenson officiating. J.T. Cooper, Jr.
J.T. Cooper, Jr., age 64, of Waukegan since 1965, departed this life March 30, 2005 at his home. He was born July 24, 1940 in Leland, MS, the son of J.T. Sr. and Edna Lee (nee Spann) Cooper.
He married
Emma Lee Thomas in 1959 in Indianola, MS. He was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Zion, IL. He was also a member of the Masons. He was an avid bowler at the Sunset Bowling Alley, and also enjoyed golfing. He was employed at International Harvester as a welder for 16 years. He will be remembered as a talented tradesman and as a loving family man.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Emma of Waukegan; his loving children, Perry L. (Norma) and Joseph of Las Vegas, NV; Robert C., Jerry and Barry S. of Waukegan, IL; Edna Mae of Miami, FL; Arterry (Tiffany) of Salina, KS; Gary C. of West Allis, WI; 11 grandsons; six granddaughters, and five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Robert (Carmen) Cooper, Sr. of Waukegan, Loucher (Estella) Cooper and Joseph (Barbara) Cooper of Zion, IL; Bertha (James) Davis of Memphis, TN; Alberta Jones of North Chicago, IL and Mary Lee Cooper of New York; his special aunt, Mrs. Hester B. Collins of Indianola, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rosie Hannibal.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 7 from 11 a.m. until the 12 noon funeral service at Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, 2801 30th St., Zion, IL 60099. Interment will be at North Shore Garden of Memories, Green Bay Road, North Chicago.

Robert D. Dodge
Robert D. Dodge, 77, of Waukegan. passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Lake Forest Hospital.
Robert was born on September 28, 1927 in Chicago, where he married
Betty Strang on February 26, 1949.
He was employed at Abbott Laboratories in North Chicago where he was Manager of Administration Scheduling, retiring in 1987 after 35 years of employment. He was also a member of the Abbott Lab's Men's Retirement Club.
Survivors include his wife Betty, two sons: Terrance (Linda) Dodge of Zion and Paul Dodge of Surprise, AZ. Two daughters Christine (Tim) Jowers of Surprise, AZ and Lisa (John) Ray of Beach Park, IL., ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. One sister, Vivian McCullough of Phoenix, AZ., and two brothers William Dodge of Phoenix, AZ., and Roswell Dodge Jr., of Oak Lawn, IL.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Roswell Dodge Sr., in 1960 and Agnes Dodge in 1977 as well as two brothers Charles in 2004 and Clinton in 1945.

Iris E. Dries
Iris E. Dries, 78 years old, of Pleasant Prairie, WI passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at her home. She was born August 12, 1926 in Zion, IL the daughter of the late Dan and Eleanor (Cunnlife-Owen) Butz. She had lived in Zion, Three Lakes, WI, moved to Bristol, WI in 1983 and then to Pleasant Prairie in 2001 where she was a member of St. Anne Church. She owned and operated the original Iris's Pizza in Zion and later worked 13 years as an administrative assistant at the Westosha Senior Center. Her special interests included painting, crocheting and knitting. On September 8, 1944 she married
Joseph Dries in Waukegan and he preceded her in death on November 2, 1995.
Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Ferrigan of Waukegan, Cindy Harlow of Rhinelander, WI, Marcia (Jim) Beake of Ingleside, IL and Theresa Brassell of Muskego, WI; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, James (Betty) Davis, Phillip (Jessica) Davis, Phyllis Stonick, Barbara (Russell) Fieberg, Marcie (Roy) Tomey, Mary Weil, Ellen (Stanley) Schmidt, Rachael (Leroy) Yarbrough, Edith (Al) Preiss and Carol (George) Weber.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Vicki Bollman and Connie Madole; an infant son, Joseph; a granddaughter, Lauren; and two brothers, Carl Butz and Joseph Davis.

Raymond J. Edwards
Raymond J. Edwards, 65 years old, of Antioch, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2005 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, IL. He was born February 18, 1940 on the family farm in Antioch the son of the late Warren and Lydia (Lucas) Edwards. Ray was the owner of Lake County Builders, was a Wick Home dealer since 1973 and previously worked at Johnson Motors for 17 years. He was a member of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Right receiving their M.S.A. for his achievements, a Shriner with the Medinah Temple, a member of the Sequoit Masonic Lodge #827 A.F. & A.M., the Chain-o-Lakes Shrine Club, the Antioch Lions Club, the Loyal Order of the Moose #525 of Antioch, the 885 Civic Club, and the NRA. Ray enjoyed hunting, golfing, and deep sea fishing when he was in Pine Island, FL for the winters. On March 15, 1958 he married
Marilyn Dowell in Hernando, MS.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one son, Raymond Jr. (Sheri) of Chadron, NE; two daughters, Marlene (Greg) Miller of Spring Grove, IL and Holly (Bill) Greenhill of Trevor, WI; one sister, Ella Mae (Robert) McDonald of Antioch; and 11 grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah, Hannah, Abigail, Kristine, Brandon, Jonathan, Raymond Josiah, Lauren, Summerlyn, and Colten.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Maurice and Robert.

Patricia June Faulkner, 76, of Davis, IL, died at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 in University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison, WI. Born December 1, 1928 in Waukegan, IL the daughter of Edgar and Agnes (Maxeiner) Fleming. Finding her life-long companion, she married
Stanley A. Faulkner on May 28, 1949 in Gurnee, IL. A dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and fiend, she served her community through involvement with AMPI Women's Auxiliary, her regular service at Stephenson County Ag Breakfast, and her volunteered assistance with the Davis Days Pageant and Rockford Memorial Hospital for several years.
Survivors include husband, Stanley A. Faulkner of Davis, IL; children, Georgia (Jim) Weller of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Martin (Diane) Faulkner of Peoria, IL, Marsha (Ken) Opperman of Durand, IL and Bradley (Holly) Faulkner of Davis, IL; nine grandchildren, Julie (Kyle) Cuplin, Sarah Faulkner, Kathryn (Joseph) Cunningham, Jerry (Kara) Opperman, Rhonda Opperman, Lisa Faulkner, Kyle Faulkner, Nathaniel Faulkner, Kayleigh Faulkner; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Montalvan and Lexie Montalvan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lawrence Fleming and James Fleming.

Russell Heibner
Russell Heibner died on March 26, 2005 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 55 years old.
Russell is survived by his wife of 38 years, Virginia of Winthrop Harbor; his daughter, Lisa Heibner of Waukegan; his son, Brian Heibner of Winthrop Harbor; his grandson, Steven Heibner of Winthrop Harbor; and his extended family, Marlene Nudi of Kenosha, Ray Hagedorn of Gurnee, and Don Hagedorn of Joliet.
Russell was preceded in death by his son, Donald "DJ" Heibner, in 2004.
Private services were held. Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home served the family.
Ann A. Orbank (Anna Artach, Anna Artic)
Ann A. Orbank, (Anna Artach, Anna Artic), 93 of Waukegan, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Westmoreland Nursing Home in Lake Forest. She was born April 28, 1911 in Waukegan and was the daughter of the Late Frank and Annie Artach.
Ann was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and the Waukegan Seniors. She was also retired from Fansteel Metallurgical Corporation in North Chicago. In her spare time, after retirement, she loved to travel and work in her garden.
She is survived by her two sons, George Orbank of Lake Villa and Bob Orbank of Gurnee; and one daughter, Kathy Grogan of Waukegan; as well as four grandchildren, Carol McKevitt, Barb Ruhl, Laura Larsen and troy Grogan; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by one son, Karl Orbank; three brothers, John, Frank and Paul Artach; as well as two sisters, Frances Higby and Pauline Gilbert; and her parents.
Funeral Services and interment will be 10:00 AM in the chapel on Tuesday, April 5, at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. There will be NO VISITATION.
Donations may be made in her name to Westmoreland Nursing Home in Lake Forest.

Helen Davis Peterson died March 30, 2005, in Rancho Mirage, CA. She was born July 8, 1917 in Clinton, IA to Victor and Olga Lomann. She married
James Davis in 1939 in Waukegan, IL. She worked many years in the family business. The Hein Company, a women's specialty store of Waukegan, IL. She had belonged to Green Acres Country Club and Glen Flora Country Club in the Chicago District Golf Association and Tamarisk Country Club and Rancho Santa Fe Club in the Southern California Golf Association. She served on the Womens Golf Association Boards of both the Chicago District and Southern California. She also participated in the Collector's Corner for Eisenhower Medical Center of Rancho Mirage, CA.
Helen is survived by her husband, James Peterson; daughters, Diane McGonigle (William) of La Quinta, CA and Marcia Gradison (David) of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Ruth Boden (Steve) of Sun City, AZ; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces and nephews.
Services are private. Donations may be made to donor's favorite charity.
Bobby Sherrod
Bobby Sherrod was born March 21, 1974 to Nathaniel and Margaret in Waukegan, IL. Bobby attended Elementary and High School in Waukegan, IL. On March 29, 2005, Bobby departed this earthly life.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother and best friend, Margaret Sherrod of Waukegan; father, Nathaniel Bell of Zion; six sisters, Mary (Jessie) Hickman of Cleveland, MS, Angela Woodruff of Zion, Shirley Sherrod of Waukegan, Jacqueline Love of Killeen TX, Deborah Sherrod of Waukegan and Lisa Sherrod of Waukegan; one brother, Jackie Sherrod of Waukegan; a host of half brothers and sisters; eight children, Candace Sherrod of Wisconsin, Brianna, Bobby Jr., Bria, Breontae, Briasha, Sheldon and Sarah Sherrod, all of Zion, IL; the mothers of his children, Amber Hardiman and Sheree Robinson; one special friend, Shannon Skidmore; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Avery Burnett Sr.; grandmother, Everlena Burnett; three uncles, Willie, Avery Jr. and William; four aunts, Osalee, Timothy, Gracealee and Nancy Louise Burnett; and one cousin, Eric Burnett.
Bobby will be missed, but he will always be in our hearts. Rest in peace Bobby, "Flex/Big Bongie" Sherrod.

Charles was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Northwest C.B. Club.
He is survived by his son, Charles (Marilyn) Skittino Jr. of Lake Villa; his daughter, Donna (Charles) Schneider of Mundelein; his brothers, David (Meeka) Skittino of Collinsville, IL, Joseph (Wilma) Skittino of Creve Coure, MO; his sister, Mary (the late Earl) Bullock, Betty (John) Knox of Wesley Chapel, FL; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie; sisters, Margaret (Arthur) Kirkwood, Martha Skittino; his brother, Samuel Skittino; his parents, Samuel and Frances Skittino.
