He was preceded in death by his father, Michael J. Shreve Sr.; maternal grandparents, Felipe Vicenta Cisneroz; aunts, Mary and Pattie Cisneroz; uncle, Johney Cisneroz; cousin, Steve Cisneroz; cousin, Donald Dalton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10AM at MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 cemetery Rd., Gurnee. Visitation from 9 AM to 10 AM on Thursday, and Wednesday from 5 to 9 PM on Wednesday. Burial will be private.

Michael W. Anagnostara passed away on, Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at the age of 46 in St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of the Round Lake, IL area.
He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Richard) Marchant; granddaughter, Korrine Marchant; sister, Robin (Michael) Hunsinger; other relatives and friends; and long-time friend, John Feaganes.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Anagnostara.

Robert P. Blackowicz, 77 of Johnsburg, IL, formerly of Gurnee for 43 years, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Centegra Medical Center in Woodstock, IL. He was born on January 16, 1929 in North Chicago, IL, and married
Delores DeCleene in May, 1957 in Greenleaf, Wisconsin. He retired as a repairman with AT & T in 1984 after 35 years of employment. Mr. Blackowicz was a member of The Church of St. Patrick in Wadsworth and was a member of the Lake Regions Men's Club. He was also a veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in battle.
He is survived by his wife, Delores; five children, James (Lisa) of Johnsburg, IL, Thomas (Lora) of Lindenhurst, IL, Gary (Jean) Blackowicz of Johnsburg, IL, Cheryl (Gary) Rabine of Johnsburg, IL, and Jeffrey (Mary) Blackowicz of Spring Grove, IL; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Casey (Dorothy) Blackowicz of No. Las Vegas, NV, and Chester (Dora) Blackowicz of Waukegan, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Patrick, 15000 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth. Interment will be private.

Elizabeth Lee Bolender, 92, of Lindenhurst, IL, Victory Lakes, passed away on March 28, 2006 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan, IL.
She was born on July 2, 1913 in Carlowville, Alabama, the daughter of the late Bessie and Robert Lee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, watching football and the Village Vocaliers at Victory Lakes.
She is survived by her sons, Peter (Pat) of Antioch, John (Suzanne) of Prattville, AL and Mark (Lynne) of Bassett, WI; her grandchildren, Dr. Jim (Lisa) Bolender of San Diego, CA, Michael (Angela) Bolender of Island Lake, IL, Jennifer (John) Goldfus of Winfield, MO, John (Deborah) Bolender of Prattville, AL and Sarah (John) Fieck of Northland, WI; eight great grandchildren and two cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John and a sister.

James Robins Brennan
James Robins Brennan, age 81, of Round Lake, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his home surrounded by his six children.
He was born September 23, 1924 in Chicago, the son of John and Marie (Hurtibise) Brennan. He married
Mary Elizabeth Miller on September 10, 1945. James has been a resident of Round Lake for over 60 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and during his time of service he earned two Bronze Stars. He served his country with naval honors during WWII in the South Pacific Theatre. He was employed at the Great Lakes Naval Base as a boiler operator. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1170, Forty & Eight, the Disabled American Veterans, and the AmVets.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Karen Dale (Alan) Mennenoh of McHenry, Jane (Bill) Kristiansen of Monroe, WA, Donald (Sheree) Brennan of Round Lake Beach, Maggie (Rob) Biddenstadt of Round Lake Beach, Michael (Jane) Brennan of Round Lake Park and Elizabeth (Dale) Hosley of Round Lake; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. His family will continue his legacy of loyalty, generosity and care. He was loved by many and will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 1996; his brother, Robert; and his sister, Juanita Milner.

Jennayah Raquel Maree Cystrunk, of Kenosha, WI was born Friday, March 24, 2006 in Evanston, IL and passed peacefully away on Friday, March 24, 2006.
She was loved the moment she was conceived. Her name Jennayah means "God Replied," after many years of seeking the Lord for her. Although she came and went with a silent breath, she will forever be loved and greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents John Henry and Francoise Genna Cystrunk; three brothers, John, Juwaun and Javon Cystrunk all of Kenosha, WI; her grandparents, LeNeice Lewis and Frederick Gipson of Waukegan, IL; two aunts, Hottra Davis and Secdka Cystrunk of Kenosha, WI; two uncles, Offie Barnes III of Atlanta, GA and Edward Barnes of Waukegan, IL; her great-grandparents, Deaconess Rueneice (Deacon Theodore) Hudson Jr. of Zion, IL; and LeRoy (Ramona) Williams Sr. of Las Vegas, NV; and Martha E. Woods of Waukegan, IL and a host of cousins and other loving family members.
She is preceded in death by her fraternal grandmother, Carolyn J. Cystrunk; one aunt, Tawn M. Woods; and one uncle, Raque L. Woods.

Charles C. Galinis
Charles C. Galinis, age 96, died on March 12th in Pomfret Center, CT. He was formerly of Waukegan. He was born October 1, 1909 in Waukegan.
Charles retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He also retired from Great Lakes Naval Training Facility after 22 years there.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis, children Barbara (Leonard) Petrovic of Gurnee; Charles (Marsha) Galinis of Waukegan; Kathleen (Bill) Laurino of Des Plaines; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a sister Ann Paluska of Tuscon, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Victoria and grandson Daniel Laurino; one sister Margaret Strang; two brothers Walter and Frank.
A Memorial Mass will be held on April 1st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan, IL 60087.
Pauline L. Gossett
Pauline L. Gossett, 88, a resident of Libertyville for the past several years, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Winchester House. She was born May 30, 1917 in Norris City, IL, where she remained a resident for most of her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Powell General Baptist Church in Norris City.
Surviving are her son, Dr. Donald Gossett of Libertyville; two grandchildren, Amy (John) Bendall of Lindenhurst and Lindsay (Ian) Kazian of Libertyville; five great grandchildren, Evan and Eric Bendall and Elaina, Matthew and Luke Kazian; three brothers, Carl (the late Mary) Doerner and Kern (Maryella) Doerner, both of Norris City and Fred (Barbara) Doerner of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Ada Doerner; by her husband, Roy Gossett in 1972; by her brothers, Wayne, Curtis and Clarence; and her daughter-in-law, Linda Gossett in 2005.

Mildred Elizabeth Hudson
Mildred Elizabeth Hudson departed this life on Monday, March 27, 2006 at Victory Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born on February 2, 1924 to Elijah C. Copeland and Zannier Simmons Copeland in Mississippi. Her family moved to Waukegan, Illinois and joined the Shiloh Baptist Church family. She served for many years as a member of Eunice Circle. Mildred was a graduate of Waukegan Township High School. In 1940 Mildred was united in marriage to Mack Emery Hudson II. Mildred retired from the Navy Regional Finance Center at Great Lakes Naval Base after many years of devoted service. She was a member of many Fraternal and Social organizations. She was the organizer and a charter member of Eureka Temple #1172 I.B.P.O.E of W. where she served as the 1st Escort. She also held the positions of Financial Secretary, Trustee and Daughter Ruler. Mildred was a member of Emblem Chapter OES #140 where she served as a Worthy Matron, Shawall Court #4 Dtrs of Isis and Phoenix Court #39, Heroines of Jericho Chicago, IL. She was also a charter member of the Les Amis Social Club for many years.
Mildred leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Mack Emery III, St. Louis, MO, Melton Everett, Waukegan, IL; and one daughter, Marsha Elaine Hudson, Waukegan, IL. She also leaves five grandchildren, Mack E. IV, Regina R., Shanika Q. and Destiney Hudson of St. Louis, MO; Tremelle (Kevel) Purcell of GA. Seven great grandchildren, Mack E. V, Gurniece, Derrick, Gabriel and Madison Hudson; Jordan and Kayla Purcell. One sister, Helen E. Scott No. Chicago, IL; two brothers, Wardell E. (Bertha) Copeland, Waukegan, IL and Donald R. (Rosemary) Copeland Dayton, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She will be dearly missed by special friends, Helen M. Jones, Susie Fisher, Marcelene Mulwee, Dolly Sanders, a special daughter-in-law and caregiver, Patricia Hines, and the many friends of her children that she was a mother figure for.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Zannier Copeland; a stepmother, Evelyn Copeland; one brother, Sterling Copeland; two sisters, Ruth Ware and Bernice Jefferies; and a granddaughter, Chantell Hudson.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 800 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, IL. Pastor Walstone Francis, Officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Zion, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM. Fraternal Rites will begin at 10:00 AM. Frederick H. Kerr, 73, Fort Atkinson, died on Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the Countryside Home in Jefferson.
He was born on October 14, 1932 in Tampa, Florida, the son of the late Alton and Georgianna (Newcombe) Kerr. He married
Caroline Matuka of Waukegan, Illinois on May 29, 1956 in Tampa. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by the Chicago Motion Picture Machine Operators, Local #110, as a projectionist for 20 years. He was also employed by the City of Zion, Illinois police department as an animal warden for five years.
Surviors include his wife, Caroline; one son, Frederick (Roberta) Kerr of Fort Atkinson; four daughters, Eleanore Kerr of Fort Atkinson, Katherine (Greg) Tritz of Burlington, Christi (Steve) Baron of Fort Atkinson, Cynthia (Robert) Parks of Jefferson; nine grandchildren, Jaclyn (Jeremiah) Carver, Necia Hagness, Jacob Hagness, Derick Kerr, Ashley Kerr, Stephanie Kerr, Ryan Baron, Sabrina Kerr, Matthew Baron; four great grandchildren, Alexis and Bailey Carver, Owen and Donald Jeske; other relatives and friends.
Also preceding in death was a son, Stephen Kerr.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating.

Luigia Pilibosian
Luigia Pilibosian, 94, of Waukegan, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006 at Terrace Nursing Home of Waukegan. She was born March 4, 1912 in Calusa, Italy and had been an area resident for 43 years. She was a member of St. Anastasia Parish.
She is survived by her children, Iucci (Piero) Ottinetti of Waukegan, John (Maria) Pilibosian of Colorado, Lalla (Mike) Goben of Waukegan, Bruna (Robert) Loper of Waukegan; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Michele Giacometto of Caluso, Italy; her sister-in-law, Carlotta Pilibosian of Waukegan and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sarkis Pilibosian in 1996 and by Bianca (Elio) Magaton.
The family would like to thank the staff at Terrace Nursing Home and STAR Hospice for the kind and compassionate care that Luigia received.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 3, 2006 at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. William A. Schaefer
William A. Schaefer, 74 of Wadsworth, passed away March 29, 2006 at home.
William was born February 18, 1932 in Waukegan, IL. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Waukegan, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader at Greenwood School in Waukegan. He was an avid snowmobiler, fisherman and gardener. William was past president of the Illinois Newspaper Production Conference, had 50 years service to The Waukegan News Sun, and was a U.S. Navy veteran, Sea Bee Branch.
Survived by his wife, Barbara of 53 years; three sons, William (Holly), Warren "Skip" (Lynne) and Donald (Donna); eight grandchildren, Amber, Meghan, William, Donald "D.J.", Christina, Dillon, Samantha, Zachery; great grandchild, Tyler; one brother, Arthur (Mary) Schaefer; two sisters, Jean (Howard) Shea and Ruth (James) Karlos; numerous nieces and nephews.

John F. Twardy
John F. Twardy, 92 of Waukegan, IL, and formerly of North Chicago, entered into eternal life on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Waukegan.
He was born on January 4, 1914 in North Chicago to Simon G. and Katherine J. Twardy. On July 29, 1939 he married
Genvieve (Jean) Piatkiewicz at Holy Rosary Church in North Chicago.
John was known for his "Green Thumb" and worked as a grower for the florists in the area for about 50 years. His career included Northshore Garden of Memories for the Western Family, Dilger's Florist in Waukegan for 25 years, Jahnke Florist, Mc Adams Florist and Jody Alting, all of Lake Forest.
In his younger years, John loved to hunt and fish with family and friends. He was an avid reader who loved music and the beauty of nature. He enjoyed feeding the ducks at his apartment complex until the end.
He attended Holy Rosary High School and Waukegan Township High School, was a member of Queen of Peace Church where he was also a member of the Holy Name Society for many years and the Polish National Alliance.
Survivors include his children, Robert (Bernice) Twardy of Arizona, Barbara Lightfoot of Waukegan and Marjorie (Tom) Henriksen of Beach Park, IL; seven grandchildren, Regina (Ed) Gonzalez and Susie (Bill) Cibrario, both of Arizona, Rob (Aimee) Twardy of Kenosha, WI, Karin (Joe) Brettnacher of Antioch, IL, Rick Madura, Kim (Todd) Anderson of FL, Jeff (Susan) Henriksen of Lake Villa, IL; as well as nine great-grandchildren, Pvt. Nathan Kohlleppel, USMC, Amber and Asher Twardy, Alex and Alyssa Gonzalez, Arun and Anjali Cibrario, Tait Anderson and Abby Henriksen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean on June 27, 1972; parents; brothers, Stanley and William Niemczyk, Thomas and Casimir Twardy; sisters, Lottie Balen, Mary Phipps, Francis Jakaitis and Stella Dolinar.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Queen of Peace Church with Fr. James E. Merold officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville.
