Delores E. Taylor
Delores E. Taylor, age 87, of Lindenhurst, IL, formerly of Beach Park, IL passed on Friday, January 7, 2005, at the Victory Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst, IL.
She was born in Guttenberg, Iowa, on April 20, 1917, the daughter of the late Robert and Elsie (nee Heiden) Wolter. She grew up in Kirkland, IL. On August 30, 1946, she married Oscar Taylor. She was a homemaker and resident in Beach Park for 55 years, before moving to Lindenhurst in 1999.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Oscar; her son, Jeffrey, of Random Lake, WI; and her brothers, Donald (Rhonda) Wolter of Waukegan, IL and Richard (Bonnie) Wolter of Belvidere, IL.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Madison; and brother, Robert Wolter.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, 1055 E. Grand Ave., Lindenhurst, IL 60046. Emory C. Trussell
Emory C. Trussell, age 79, of Camp Lake, WI passed away March 25, 2005 at his home. He was born on April 20, 1925 in Grand Rapids, MI. The son of the late Emory Audell and Inga Hansen Trussell. On April 20, 1945 he was united in marriage to Ruth Marie McGlynn in Antioch, IL. He worked at Outboard Marine Corp. for 39 years. He attended the Church of the Nazerene in Burlington, WI. He lived in the Antioch area before moving to Camp Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; six children, Emory C. Trussell, Jr. of Camp Lake, WI, Karen (Clint) Bennett of Burlington, WI, Guy A. (Heather) Trussell of Twin Lakes, WI, Tim M. (Tracee) Trussell of Alpharetta, GA, Carl (Denise) Trussell of Eau Claire, WI and Sharon (Mike) McGrath of Genoa City, WI; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Browning Trussell; sister, June Rushmore.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sister, Inga Victoria Kaiser, Norma Paulsen and Vivian Thompson.
Private family services were held Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Church of the Nazarene in Burlington, WI. Interment was in Liberty Corners cemetery in the Town of Salem. The Haase-Derrick-Lockwood Funeral Home of Twin lakes, WI handled arrangements.

Peter A. Baker
Peter A. Baker, age 77, of Winter Haven, FL, formerly of Mundelein, IL, died Friday, March 24, 2006 at home. He was born August 23, 1928 in Lake Forest, IL.
Peter was past president and Chairman of Peter Baker and Son Co. He was a former Navy Seabee and former member of Knights of Columbus and VFW.
He was the husband of Joyce M. "Mickey" (nee Lindholm) and the late Dorothy Mae (nee Cummings). Loving father of Arthur II (Jo Anne), Terry Baker, Robert baker and Barbara (Michael) Duffy and step son, Scott McCracken. Cherished grandfather of Peter Baker, John Strazer, Julie, Dustin and Gwen Rodgers, Shannon (Ryan) Maguire and Moira and Aileen Duffy. Proud great-grandfather of Kyle. Dear brother of Arthur M. Jr., Elaine Cascarano and the late Russell. Devoted son of the late Erna and Arthur Sr.
Visitation is from 3-8 PM on Friday, March 31, 2006at the KISSELBURG-WAUCONDA FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday, April 1, 2006. H. Dean Bradley
H. Dean Bradley, 89 years old of Antioch, IL passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Victory Lakes Continuing Care Center, Lindenhurst, IL. He was born July 18, 1916 in Marshall, IL the son of William Albert and Josie Ollie (Bennet) Bradley, moving to Antioch in 1968. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Antioch and a former member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Chicago. Dean graduated from the Hines Pharmacy College in Chicago and was a pharmacist for Walgreens Drug Stores for 45 years. He also was a superintendent for Sunday School and a Boy Scout leader.
On September 10, 1938 he married Reba Claypool in Chicago and she preceded him in death on October 19, 1999.
Survivors are a daughter, Shelby (the late James) Wais; and a son, Byron (Rhonda) Bradley both of Antioch; two brothers, Omer Bradley of Indianapolis, IN and Herbert Bradley of Skokie, IL; five grandchildren, Jim (Vanessa) Wais, Wendy (Doug) Higgins, John (Dawn) Wais, Charlie (Melissa) Bradley and Debra Bradley; and six great grandchildren, Joshua, Brenna, Hunter, Ryan, Paul, Daniel and Kailey.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Wais; a brother, Clyde Bradley; and a sister, Grace Humes.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte 83) with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM. Jonas Kemeza
Jonas Kemeza, 81, of Waukegan, Illinois, formerly of Waterbury, Connecticut, died peacefully Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Victory Memorial Hospital in his daughter's arms. He was the widower of Ona (Bradunaite) Kemeza. He was born in Lithuania (Vilkaviskis region, Alvitas parish, Kirsai village). The son of the late Petras and Konstancija (Drazdyte) Kemeza.
preceded in death by five siblings, Kazys, Albertas, Alfonsas, Terese Grazuliene and Eugenija Kemezaite; daughter-in-law, Annette Kemeza.
He immigrated to the U.S. in 1950, residing in Waterbury, CT for 53 years until he moved to Waukegan, IL in 2003 to live with his daughter and son-in-law. He worked at Uniroyal Co. and Thinsheet Metal Co. until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Waterbury, CT and active for many years in the Lithuanian-American Community.
He leaves a son, Petras of Bridgeport, CT; daughter, Ramute (Vidas) Kazlauskas of Waukegan, IL; five sisters of Lithuania, Albina Kemezaite, Onute Bucinskiene, Adele (Julius) Bejeriene, Jane Klasaviciene, Ramute Staskeviciene; one sister-in-law, Terese Kemeziene of Lithuania; two brothers-in-law, Juozas Bradunas of Hawaii and Kazys (Kazyte) Bradunas of Lithuania. A dear uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend to many.
He was extremely proud of his heritage and greatly enjoyed gardening.

Victor J. Lattan
Victor J. Lattan, 82, of Algonquin, passed away March 27, 2006 at Tower Hill Healthcare Center of Elgin, IL.
He was born May 21, 1923 in Maywood, IL to Louis and Josephine Lattan. Vic served in the United States Air Force during WWII and later graduated from the University of Illinois. He retired as CFO of Acme Printing Ink Co. in 1986. After his marriage to Jane Jackson in 1988, they moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Vic's love of numbers served him well into his retirement years, working as a small business advisor at Memphis State University, and again in the same capacity at Elgin Community College until his death. Vic was also a member of the Crystal Lake Church of Christ.
Vic is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jane; sons, Phil Jackson of Milwaukee, WI, Jon Jackson (Pam) of Gurnee, IL, Paul Lattan (Lisa) of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Norma Muldowney (Art) of Edina, MN, Lorraine Orbon (Jim) of Northbrook, IL, Alyce Casper (Rich) of Glenview, IL, 17 grandchildren; and son-in-law, Mike Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Josephine; sister, Adeline Lattanzio; daughter-in-law, Deb Jackson; and daughter, Nancy Gordon.
Visitation Thursday, March 30 2006 at 4pm - 9pm at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin (one mile west of Route 31). Funeral services Thursday, March 30 at 7pm. Forest J. May
Funeral Services with Military Honors for Forest J. May, age 84, of new Smyrna Beach, FL will be held on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 2PM in the chapel of Lohman Funeral Home Ormond.
Forest was born April 26, 1921 in Waukegan, Illinois to Forest L. and Ruth (Yenning) May. Mr. May joined the U.S. Army and fought in the Pacific Campaign of WWII. He was wounded in combat on more than one occasion, and left the service as a Combat Disabled Veteran. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and of the V.F.W. Mr. May made his living as a carpenter. In 1979 he left Waukegan and moved with his family to Florida, where he resided until passing away on March 28, 2006 at the Bridgeview Center in Ormond Beach, FL. Mr. May will be interred in Florida National Veteran's cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 64 years, Irene of New Smyrna, FL; sons, Larry May of Gurnee, IL and Randy May of New Smyrna; daughters, Barbara Kurtz of Ft. Myers, FL, Sharon Jackson of Hinckley, IL and Candy Jackson of Haperville, IL; brother, Harold May of Waukegan; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Luigia Pilibosian
Luigia Pilibosian, 94, of Waukegan, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006 at Terrace Nursing Home of Waukegan. She was born March 4, 1912 in Calusa, Italy and had been an area resident for 43 years. She was a member of St. Anastasia Parish.
She is survived by her children, Iucci (Piero) Ottinetti of Waukegan, John (Maria) Pilibosian of Colorado, Lalla (Mike) Goben of Waukegan, Bruna (Robert) Loper of Waukegan; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Michele Giacometto of Caluso, Italy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sarkis Pilibosian in 1996 and by Bianca (Elio) Magaton.
The family would like to thank the staff at Terrace Nursing Home and STAR Hospice for the kind and compassionate care that Luigia received.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, April 3, 2006 at St. Anastasia Church, 624 Douglas Ave., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. William A. Schaefer
William A. Schaefer, 74 of Wadsworth, passed away March 29, 2006 at home.
William was born February 18, 1932 in Waukegan, IL. He attended the First United Methodist Church in Waukegan, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader at Greenwood School in Waukegan. He was an avid snowmobiler, fisherman and gardener. William was past president of the Illinois Newspaper Production Conference, had 50 years service to The Waukegan News Sun, and was a U.S. Navy veteran, Sea Bee Branch.
Survived by his wife, Barbara of 53 years; three sons, William (Holly), Warren "Skip" (Lynne) and Donald (Donna); eight grandchildren, Amber, Meghan, William, Donald "D.J.", Christina, Dillon, Samantha, Zachery; great grandchild, Tyler; one brother, Arthur (Mary) Schaefer; two sisters, Jean (Howard) Shea and Ruth (James) Karlos; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 31, 2006 from 5-8 PM at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, 305 cemetery Rd. Funeral services Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 305 cemetery Rd., interment at Warren cemetery, Gurnee, IL.

MaryAnn Witasick (nee Militech)
MaryAnn Witasick, (nee Militech), 82, died Friday at Victory Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Witasick was born in North Chicago and attended grade school there. She graduated from Waukegan Township High School in 1941. She was accepted at the University of Chicago but suffered an injury to her hands that kept her from attending.
Mrs. Witasick met and married Bernard Witasick, a career Marine, in 1948. She worked as a secretary for the Federal Government as her family moved for her husband's military assignments, living in Pennsylvania and North Carolina before returning to Waukegan for their retirement.
Known for her bright intelligence and great love of learning, Mrs. Witasick read widely and enjoyed collecting books. She was the family historian keeping touch with relatives in Croatia and Canada throughout her life. She took great pride in the achievements of her family, especially her parents, both immigrants from Croatia. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was generous and kind to all. Mrs. Witasick was a devoted member of the Catholic Church.
She leaves her husband, Bernard, of 56 years, her son, Bernard and her sister, Theresa Hutton and many nieces and nephews. Her parents Jack and Madeline Militech of North Chicago, preceded her in death.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, March 31, 2006 at St. Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Ave., Waukegan. Interment will be at Ascension cemetery in Libertyville. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 A.M. to time of Mass.

Elby Daniel Boyd, infant, of Waukegan, IL passed away Saturday, March 27, 2004 in Waukegan, IL. He was born March 27, 2004.
He is survived by his parents, Michael T. and Suzette Boyd of Park City; his grandparents, Daniel and Peggy Lane of Park City and Lawrence and Delores Boyd of Benton, IL; great grandmothers, Betty Humphrey of Park City and Barbara Wahl and step great grandfather, Cliff Wahl; aunts, Heather Suzewitz and son, Christian of Park City, Kathy Popp and daughters, Whitley and Haley, Carol Lopez of Park City and Cathy (Jim) Gitten and family of Omaha, NE; uncles, Charles (Cammy) Leanerd and son, Greg from Trevor, WI, Joe (Phyllis) Leanerd and family of WI, David (Sandi) Leanerd and family of Park City and Steven Boyd and daughter, Katelynn of Gurnee; and special pets, Suzie and Little Bitz.
preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Elby Issac Humphrey and George H. Lane; and great grandmothers, Gertrude Meadows and Kate Boyd.

Helen Pearl (Fishburn) Dingman
Helen Pearl (Fishburn) Dingman, formerly of Longmont went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 26, 2004 in Round Lake Beach, Illinois. She was 84 years young. Helen was born in Boulder, Colorado on August 1, 1919, and lived in Longmont until 1998, when she moved to Illinois with her son and his family. She was a graduate of Longmont High School. She married Leo Willis Dingman in 1941, and spent many years working alongside him at Longmont Poultry. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Helen is survived by a brother, Wallace Fishburn of Arizona; a sister, Creta Pingle of Oregon; two sons, James (Cheryl) Dingman of Lindenhurst, Illinois and Kent (Christie) Dingman of Audubon, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Andrew Dingman, Pamela Dingman, Aaron Dingman, Rebecca Dingman, Stephen Bloomfield, Leslie Bloomfield and Betina Bloomfield; two great grandchildren, Chantayla Bloomfield and Travis Dingman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was a devoted Christian who loved singing in Church choirs. She also taught Sunday School for many years, and was always willing to pray for others, or assist with any need. She genuinely loved people and loved life. She was a member of Front Range Christian Fellowship in Longmont, and upon moving to Illinois, became a member of Liberty Community Church in Lindenhurst, Illinois.
There will be no local visitation. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 31st from 4 to 8 PM at Lewellen Chapel in Colorado, with services there on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 10 AM.

Virginia L. Flood
Virginia L. Flood, 89, of Pawleys Island, SC, formerly of Antioch, IL, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Prince George Healthcare Center in Georgetown, SC. She was born October 10, 1914 in Cook County, IL, the daughter of the late George T. Lewis and Ida Mock Lewis. Virginia was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 735 of Antioch, St. Peter Church of Antioch and had retired as a Maternity Ward Nurses Aide. She had a great respect and love for the Antioch Fire and Rescue Squads for all of their help over the years.
Survivors include her daughter, Georgia F. (Thomas) Olker of Pawleys Island, SC; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles A. Flood and Randal L. Flood; and two brothers, Raymond Lewis and George Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Ret. 83). Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 PM Tuesday until the time of services. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Antioch Rescue Squad in her memory.

Sandra Kay O'Neill-Fuller
Sandra Kay O'Neill-Fuller, 63, of Waukegan, formerly of Springfield, IL died Friday, March 26, 2004 at Manor Care, Libertyville. Sandra was born the daughter of Francis and Christine (nee Cox) O'Neill on September 16, 1940 in Springfield, IL where she was raised and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. Prior to moving to Waukegan she had been the Office Manager of Leath Furniture of Springfield. For more than 30 years, she had been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Council 437 of Springfield.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Fuller; her daughter, Tonya O'Neill of Denver, CO; her son, John (Renea) O'Neill of Fla; her grandchildren, Amanda and Kaitlyn; her mother, Christine O'Neill of Springfield; her brother, Charlie (Irene) O'Neill of Champaign, IL; and her sisters, Peggy (George) Baker of Murphysbobo, IL, Marian Richards and Barbara Forstier both of Springfield, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis; and her sister, Nancy O'Neill.
Private family funeral services will be Monday, March 29 at McMurrough Chapel in Libertyville.

John Patton
John Patton, 80, of Waukegan, died Friday, March 26, 2004 at Victory Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II. On November 25, 1950, he married Rebecca Kahooluhi. John owned and operated Patton Screw Products in Waukegan for 34 years until his retirement in 1999.
He was an avid bowler, having participated innumerous leagues in Waukegan and North Chicago and bowled in numerous national tournaments. He also enjoyed golf and belonged to golf leagues at Foss Park in North Chicago and was also known for his love for animals.
John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rebecca; a sister, Thelma (George) O'Flaherty of Waukegan; several nieces and nephews, Kelley O'Flaherty Fisher, Patrick O'Flaherty, Janet (Ron) Clift and Al (Sara) Hancock and Courtney, Mary Lou O'Flaherty and Jacquie (Dom) Sacramento; and numerous great nieces and nephews; three godchildren, James A. Lutter of Hawaii, Margaret Zirkelbach of Vernon Hills, IL and James Pierce of Round Lake, IL.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Ann Patton in 1952; three sisters, Elynor DesJardins, Evelyn Anderson and Rowena Hancock-Breniser; as well as three nephews, Thomas M. O'Flaherty, John S. O'Flaherty and A.G. Hancock.
Friends may call at THE SALATA-GURNEE FUNERAL HOME, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee from 4 to 8 PM on Monday, March 29, 2004.
Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 PM with Fr. Paul J. Cull officiating. Interment will be private. Memorials may be made in John's memory to either Orphans of the Storm, Save-A-Pet, Assissi's Animal Foundation of Crystal Lake or Waukegan Pet Shelter.
