Frank M. Doyle
Frank M. Doyle, 77, of Libertyville, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at the Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. He was born March 10, 1926 in Chicago, was a former 24 year resident of Hoffman Estates and has lived in Libertyville since 1978. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran, having served in the European Theatre during World War II and a member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville. Frank has been employed by the University of St. Mary of the Lake Seminary in Mundelein since 1980.
Surviving are his wife Ellen (nee Chambers); seven children, Frank (Paula) Doyle of Lake Forest, Mary Cleys of Palatine, Brian (Laura) Doyle of Woodstock, Karen (Dan) McGloon of Schaumburg, Sharon Doyle of Palatine, Raymond (Joyce) Doyle of Libertyville and Margaret (Daniel) Pierre of Lake Villa; 14 grandchildren, Jennifer (Tony), Jeff, Christopher, Bridget, Christine, Jennifer, Ashley, Jessica, Kenny, Sean, Morgan, Paige, Olivia and Holly. He was the loving brother of Blanche (late Allan) Ramsay, Manetta Higgason, Robert (late Lorraine), Marianne (Thomas) Carroll, Isabel (Phil) Williams, Richard (Noreen), Thomas (Joyce), Michael (Christine), Eugene J. (Jean) and Joseph (Marion) Lopaz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond C. and Isabella Doyle, and by his brothers Edward (Bette) and Raymond Jr. (late Joan).
Prayers will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 27 at the BURNETT-DANE FUNERAL HOME, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rt. 176) Libertyville and services will continue to St. Joseph Church for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at All Saints cemetery in Des Plaines. Nellie B. Finney
Nellie B. Finney, age 79, of North Chicago, IL passed away on March 21, 2003 at home.
She was born in Midway, AL on March 1, 1924.
She is survived by her estranged husband, Seymore Finney, Jr.; a daughter, Annie Pennick and special friend, Ben Westley of North Chicago; three sisters, Minnie L. Ivey of Midway, AL, Essie Bronson and Eula Bell Rogers, both of Miami, FL; a step-mother, Eula Mae Bronson of Miami, FL; four grandchildren, Diane (Johnny) Blair, Bobby and Maurice Pennick all of North Chicago, Curlin Pennick III of Tacoma, WA; seven great grandchildren, Ronda, Annie, Darnisha, China and Kristel all of North Chicago, Diane and Curlin IV both of Tacoma, WA; special cousins including Thomas D. Faniel of Union Springs, AL and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lee and Nora Bronson and two brothers, Arthur Lee Bronson and Bennie James Bronson.

Dorothy E. Gromala, 80, of Lindenhurst, passed Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Provena St. Therese. She was born March 13, 1923 in Chicago. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in Gurnee.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Edward A.; one son Edward J. (Patricia) of Hawthorne Woods; one daughter Patricia (Mark) Hatton of Gurnee; four grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica, Jacob, and Alexandria; and two brothers, George and Jim Moore.

Joanne M. Held, 84, of Lake Villa, IL, formerly of Carpentersville, IL, passed away at Highland Park Hospital on Monday, March 24, 2003.
She was born in London, England on February 21, 1919. She was a resident of Lake Villa for the past three years, and had been a resident of Carpentersville for many years. She was active with the Lindenhurst Park District Senior Group.
She is survived by her children, Michael Korotasz of Elgin, IL, Karen (Frank) Benincasa of Pennsylvania, Tracy (Greg) Castro of Lindenhurst, IL, Gary (Susan) Held of Carpentersville, IL and Robert Held of Florida; her grandchildren, Joseph, Janet, Edward, Denise, Jeffrey, Vikki, Michael, Trisha, James, Nicole, Andrew, Mia, Amy, Amanda and Marcus; and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard; her children, Deborah Ortman and Peggy Real; and a brother.

Catherine R. Kagan
Catherine R. Kagan, 84, of Rockford, died at 11:40 P.M. Monday, March 24, 2003 in Provena Cor Mariae Center after an extended illness. Mrs. Kagan was born on February 15, 1919 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Earnest and Irene Hoffman. married to Louis L. Kagan, MD, in Des Plaines, IL on October 15, 1938. (He died in December 2002). She assisted her husband in his medical practice in Spring Grove, IL as his Office Manager for 47 years, until his retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Loves Park, IL. While a resident in Spring Grove, she was very active in Parish life at St. Peter Catholic Church, and was president of DCCW from 1965 to 1967, and DDC Woman of the Year in 1968. She was deeply devoted as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. After her husband's retirement, they enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include sons Louis (Judy) Kagan of Lincolnshire, IL, Patrick (Jean) Kagan of Rockford, James (Sandra) Kagan of Oconomowoc, WI, Rev. Msgr. David D. Kagan of Rockford, Michael (Janet) Kagan of Rockford and daughter Mary Louise Lewis of Ferndale, MI; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, husband and 1 sister.

Fred Barrett Lentz, 73, of Gurnee, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2003 in Culleoka, TN. He was born January 9, 1930 in Culloeka and was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ, Culleoka. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve and had retired from the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife Jean Lentz; his daughter Teresa L. (Tim) Lentz Krebs of Florida; his grandchildren Carlton Barrett Krebs, Paiton G. Krebs and Triston M. Krebs; his son-in-law Tim L. Krebs; his sister-in-law C.E. Mears of California; his brothers, J.W., Harold, and Paul Lentz; three sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

Pauline A. Milz, 84 years old of Lake Villa, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville, IL. She was born July 20, 1918 in Cicero, IL moving to Lake County in 1943 where she was a member of St. Bede Church. On May 31, 1952 she married
Otto Milz in Antioch.
Survivors include her husband Otto, 2 sons, Lance (Theresa) of Lake In the Hills, IL and Keith (Janice) of Richmond, IL, 1 brother, Frank (Marcy) Greene of Cicero, IL and 1 sister Helen Guk of Berwyn, IL, 3 grandchildren, Kristen and Nicole (Twins) and Shannon. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Huebner and Sophie Michna.

Larry A. Rosenbaum
Larry A. Rosenbaum, 56, of Gurnee, IL passed away March 22, 2003 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born May 8, 1946 in Akron, Ohio and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. He was also a member of The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio; Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Akron; ZENIBIA TEMPLE, A.A.O.N.M.S. of Toledo, Ohio; and Society of Plastic Engineers. He loved to cook, travel and work with wood. Larry attended Kenmore High School and Akron University. He served 20 years at Baxter of Round Lake, most recently as the Director of Engineering. While at Baxter he received numerous commendations. He also worked for HPM Corporation at Marion, Ohio, Hancore Inc. of Finley, Ohio, and N.R.M. of Akron, Ohio. Throughout his life he developed over 25 patents and published articles in several plastics trade journals.
Survivors include his loving wife Sue Rosenbaum; one brother Joel Rosenbaum; two nephews of Akron, OH; one aunt Lizabeth Hawkins and cousins Clay and Elmer Rosenbaum of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Aaron and Nita Rosenbaum and stepmother Violet Rosenbaum

Kyle G. Taylor
Kyle G. Taylor, 19, of Winthrop Harbor died on Tuesday, March 25, 2003 the result of an auto accident.
Kyle was born August 21, 1983 in Lake Forest and he graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School, Class of 2001.
Survivors include his mother, Debra E. Taylor of Winthrop Harbor; his father, Larry (Gayle) Taylor of Antioch, Illinois; a brother, Trent Nuzzo of Winthrop Harbor; grandmothers, Eula Taylor of Zion and Carol Kerr-Sanchez of Waukegan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth R. Kerr in 1988 and Prentiss E. Taylor in 1996.

Frances A. Tegel (Meadie)
Frances A. Tegel (Meadie), 73, of Waukegan passed away on Monday March 24, 2003 at Victory Memorial Hospital. She was born December 15, 1929 in Waukegan and remained a lifelong resident. She had been a Slovenic Hall member.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; her son Don (Julie) Meadie of Waukegan; grandson, Patrick Meadie; sisters, Agnes Grider of Winthrop Harbor, Irene (Kenneth) Wilson of Gurnee, Shirley (James) Zupancic of Waukegan and Mary Ann Richards of Waukegan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna (nee Podobnik) Brnot; three brothers and one sister, Stanley, Richard and Robert Brnot and Josephine Thyne.

Tina Louise Villalobos, 36, of Zion died on Monday, March 24, 2003 at home following a long illness.
Tina was born March 8, 1967 in Fulton, Missouri. She enjoyed playing softball and belonged to the Locas Softball Team through the Waukegan Park District's Women's League and she was a member of the Zion-Benton Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Villalobos of Zion; one son Vincent John Villalobos at home; one daughter Areil Ambrosa-Lu "Ambor" Villalobos at home; her mother and father Dawana "Fay" and Todd Grube of Zion; one brother Richie (Alicia) Rajkovich of Zion; step-sister Paulette Gurnes of Jacksonville, Florida; her father and mother-in-law Ernesto and Sharon Villalobos of Zion; sister-in-law Natalie (Joey) Hensley of Madisonville, Tennessee; brother-in-law Ernesto II (Jessica Schild) Villalobos of Ingleside, Illinois; nephews Dain and Dustin Rajkovich of Zion and Trey Hensley of Madisonville; nieces Ava and Alayna Hensley of Madisonville; grandmothers Georgia Allen of Zion and Cheryl York of Rock Island, Illinois; grandfather Billy Wates of Madisonville; aunts JoAnn (Patrick) Gallagher of Pendleton, Indiana, Debbie (Richard) Burton of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Donna (Abel) Villalobos of Beach Park and Dottie Allen of Fulton, Missouri; uncle Randy Grube of Rock Island, Illinois; and many other relatives and friends. She is survived by her sisters Ann Satterfield, Wanda Velkover, her special nieces and nephews Judy, Christine and George Forwe whom she lived with the last 3 years, her sister-in-law Mary Witek and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Francis, brother William and her parents Frank and Sophie (nee Pinas) Witek.

John P. Gilles
Mass of Christian Burial for John P. Gilles, 66, of Mundelein is 10 a.m. Saturday at Santa Maria del Popolo Chapel, 116 N. Lake St., Mundelein. Entombment will follow in Ascension cemetery, Libertyville. He was born April 23, 1936 in Lake Forest and died Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville. John was a member of Local 20 Waukegan Brick and Stone Masons and was the Union's Business Agent for the past 12 years.
He is survived by his wife Peggy (nee Austin), his children Michelle (Michael) West, Jeffrey (Natalie) Warkenghien, his sister Mary Ann Wrast, grandchildren Jake, Adam, Alex, Sarah, Maggie and his mother-in-law Margaret Harlan. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Bessie (nee Leeson) Gilles.

Jerry Globis
Jerry Globis, age 51 of Waukegan, IL passed away on March 18, 2004 at the Great Lakes Naval Training Base. He was born September 4, 1949 in Waukegan, IL.
Jerry worked for Great Lakes Printing and Publications for 25 years. He served in the Army two years and is a Vietnam Veteran. He is also a graduate of Waukegan High School.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Globis; his nephew, John Globin; nieces, Renee Globin, and Maureen Kennedy; sister-in-law, Diana Globis; great nieces, Rachelle Dulaney, Samantha Globis, McKenzie Globis, Alexis Globis; and great nephew, Tyler Globis.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Globis; sister, Patricia Globis; brothers, James and Joe Globis and niece, Kimberly Globis.

P. Wayne Johnson
P. Wayne Johnson, 63, of Lincolnshire, IL passed away Thursday, March 25, 2004 at the Lake Forest Hospital. He was born September 30, 1940 in Chicago, was a former resident of Green Oaks, living in Lincolnshire for the past five years. He was a graduate of Lane Tech High School and DeVry Tech in Chicago. Wayne was the owner and President of Johnson Power, Ltd, a manufacturing company in Broadview and was a sincere and generous employer.
He was also an accomplished musician, playing the drums in a dance band for many events, including weddings. Wayne was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville, was an avid sportsman, enjoying boating and fishing. One of his greatest joys, was spending time with family and friends at his vacation home in Door County, WI.
He was the beloved husband of Arlene (nee Demann); devoted father to Cheryl (Chad) Corriveau of Monterey, CA, Lisa (Robert) Honig of Elmhurst and Kurt Johnson (Colleen Matheu) of Houston, TX; loving Gimpy to Trevor, Brandon, Chloe and Audrey; dear brother to Ross (Pamela) Johnson of Inverness; and kind uncle to seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Helen Johnson; and by his nephew, Mils.
Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 27 at 9:30 AM followed by a service at 11 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 29700 N. St. Mary's Road, Libertyville. Diane L. Jones
Surrounded by her family, Diane L. Jones of North Chicago left this world for another on March 23, 2004.
She was born in Ironwood, MI on June 13, 1948. She was a devoted mother who spent her years pursuing her passion of attentively caring for her 11 children and ten grandchildren. She also enjoyed family events such as fishing, camping, traveling, nature and being a "sports mom", which will be cherished memories for the family. She was an active advocate of children with disabilities and put forth a strong effort in lobbying for rights of disabled children.
Diane was the sister of Geri (Corky) Holiday; brother of Don Bertels; and she has many nieces and nephews.
Diane was the loving and devoted mother of Gwendolynn (Marc) Gaines, Thomas (Jennifer) Jones, Delisa Kelley, Scott (Rhodora) Jones, Derrick, Hector, Marcus, Samuel, Lanita, Lyndsy and Gloria Jones. She was also a devoted Grandmother of Brandon, Dionca, Marshawnna, Cordell, Raeven, Quentin, McKenzy, Chyanne, Thomas Jr., and Camryn.
She leaves to cherish her memories her best friends, Jan Merrifield and Fran LaCognata.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, husband, and grandchild.
