Mabel Stillwell
Services for Mabel M. Stillwell, 89, of Chicago were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Elm Lawn Cemetery Chapel in Elmhurst.
She died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003.
Survivors include her son, Robert of Sullivan; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Shirley Voyles
Shirley Kay Voyles, 58, of Mattoon died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20, 2003 in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Services for the former Findlay resident will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Lockart and Sons Funeral Home in Findlay with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in the Wright Cemetery in rural Findlay.
Born Oct. 18, 1944 in Canton, she was a daughter of Carl and Ruth Loveland Boardwine.
Survivors include sons, Jeff Voyles of Sullivan and Brian Voyles of Mattoon; daughter, Cathy Voyles of Mattoon; five grandchildren; and her mother of Bryant.

Mrs. Albert Boeker
Services for Mrs. Albert (Winifred Mae ‘Winnie” Deal) Boeker, 78, of Taylorville were held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville with the Rev. Dr. Phillip Icenogle officiating. Burial was in the Morrisonville Cemetery in Morrisonville with Sutton Memorial Homes in Taylorville in charge of arrangements.
She died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 in St. Vincent’s Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
Born April 10, 1924 in Springfield, she was the daughter of Maurice and Wilma Hoffman Deal. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a math major and taught high school math for three years in Petersburg and 24 years in Pawnee before retiring. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Illinois Retired Teachers Assn., the Christian County Retired Teachers Assn., the Lady Land Owners and was past worthy matron of OES Glenwood Chapter. She married Albert E. Boeker May 30, 1948 in the Shiloh Church in rural Morrisonville, and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Patricia J. and husband Steven E. Creviston of Sullivan; son, David L. and wife Janet L. Boeker of Morton; grandchildren, Eric and wife Ashley Creviston of Greensboro, N.C., Sean Creviston of Findlay, Travis Myers of Minneapolis, Minn. Terry Doyle of Findlay, Adam Boeker of Morton and Jason and wife Kristie Boeker of Morton; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Earl Deal and niece Janet K. Deal Miller.
Memorials to First United Methodist Church of Taylorville are suggested.

Mrs. Paul White
Services for Mrs. Paul (Betty J. Brooks) White, 80, of Arthur were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Lovington Christian Church with the Rev. Kevin Ray officiating assisted by the Rev. Larry Beebe. Burial was in the Keller Cemetery in Lovington with the McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Lovington in charge of arrangements.
She died at 12:01 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 in the Arthur Home in Arthur.
She was born Jan. 24, 1922 in Versailles, the daughter of Virgil and Opal Foster Brooks. She was a retired RN. She was a member of the Lovington Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star, both in Lovington. She married Paul E. White Feb. 16, 1946 in Lovington, and he survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Cindy Johnson of Arthur; granddaughter, Jill and husband Kevin Hohlbauch of Arcola; and great-grandchild, KayLee Hohlbauch of Arcola.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Memorials to the Lovington Christian Church are suggested.

Rontel Collins
A family graveside service for Rontel Travon Collins, infant son of Ron Collins and April D. Kimery of Decatur, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Smyser Cemetery in rural Gays with the Swengel-O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga in charge of arrangements.
The infant was stillborn at 3:25 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Adam Collins of rural Gays; grandparents, David and Teresa Purcell of rural Gays, Gary Kimery of Mattoon and Larry and Addie Jones of Decatur; and great-grandparents, Gary Lang of Charleston and Jim and Mary Foltz of Mattoon.
One sister preceded him in death.

Sue Dugan
Services for Sue Carol Dugan, 59, of Vandalia were held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) in the First United Methodist Church in Vandalia. Burial was in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia with arrangements by the Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia.
She died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003.
She was a cashier and a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carrol E.; sons, Gail Dugan of Vandalia and D. Scott Dugan of Sullivan; daughters, Tammy Carlson of Schaumburg and Kristy Banal of Vandalia; brothers, Millard E. Lape and Paul Lape Sr., both of Vandalia, and Wallace Lape of Effingham; sisters, Marie Hodson and Lula Mae Berry, both of Vandalia; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Three brothers preceded her in death.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church or the Fayette County Health Dept. are suggested.

Bertha Hall
Services for Mrs. Alvis (Bertha L. Mayberry Wicker) Hall, 99, of Sullivan were held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Illinois Masonic Home Chapel in Sullivan. Burial was in Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany with the Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan in charge of arrangements.
The former Shelbyville resident died at 9:20 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 in the Illinois Masonic Home in Sullivan.
Born July 18, 1903 in Moultrie County, she was the daughter of George and Martha Marlow Mayberry. She was a homemaker and a member of the Free Methodist Church and R.S.V.P., both in Shelbyville. She married Alvis Wicker Feb. 22, 1922 in Bethany, and he died in October 1968. She then married Frank Hall May 21, 1973 in Belleville, and he died July 8, 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosella Kobes of Duberry, Fla., and one grandson.
One son preceded her in death.
Memorials in care of the family are suggested.

William Mast
Services for William A. Mast, 77, of Arthur were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Allen Mast residence. Burial was in the Miller Cemetery in Arcola with arrangements by the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola.
He died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 in his home.
Born Aug. 18, 1925 in Douglas County, he was the son of Andrew L. and Lydia Schrock Mast. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Faith. He married Mary Ann Plank in 1946, and she survives.
Other survivors include sons, Andy Ray of Arthur, Elva Jay of Tuscola and Joe Allen of Humboldt; daughters, Verna Kay Miller, Ruth Anna Yoder, Lela Fern Kaufman and Betty Ann Miller, all of Arthur, and Ada Lorene Yoder of Logansville, Wis.; brother, Fred Mast of Myerstown, Pa.; sisters, Sara Gingerich of Arcola, Anna Plank, of Arthur, Rebecca Hochstedler of Tuscola and Sovilla Gingerich of Sullivan; 68 grandchildren; and 64 great-grandchildren.
One son, one daughter, three brothers and eight grandsons preceded him in death.

Kenneth Rader
Services for Kenneth William Rader, 81, of Moweaqua were held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Seitz Funeral Home in Moweaqua. Burial with full military honors by the InterVeterans Burial Detail of Sangamon County was in the Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield.
He died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Born Dec. 21, 1921 in Loami, he was a son of Homer and Allie Rader. He retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. after 30 years of service. He owned and operated Raders Sporting Goods in Moweaqua for 35 years and was a member of Ducks Unlimited and American Legion Post 370. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors include sons, Richard of Snoqualmie, Wash. and Robert of Lovington; daughters, JoLynn Baldwin of Champaign, Linda Allen-Ogle of Taylorville, Mrs. Kip (Rhonda) Brooks of Decatur and Brenda Johnson and Candace Schinzler, both of Moweaqua; brothers, Ernst of Springfield and Walter of Brentwood, Mo.; sister, Norma Jean Murphy of Pensacola, Fla.; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials to the Moweaqua Ambulance service are suggested.
