Age 82. Passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.
Survived by two sons, Richard C. (Gayle N.) Peterson Jr of Lockport and Scott D. (Laura) Peterson of Joliet; a daughter, Gayle L. (Paul) McDaniel of Minooka; three grandchildren, Stephanie L., Andrew and Millie Peterson. Numerous nieces, nephews and dear friend Kathryn Columbo also survive.
Preceded in death by his wife Mildred (Rizzo) Peterson; parents, Roy and Eleanore (Miller) Peterson Sr.; and a brother, Roy Peterson Jr.
Born in Joliet, a lifelong resident. World War II Air Force veteran. Richard retired from Caterpillar. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Avid golfer and bowled on the Senior Bowling League at Town and Country.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 10 AM at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

Age 79, of Gardner, IL, Saturday, June 7, 2003 at his home. Formerly employed at Caterpillar Inc. in Joliet, IL, retiring after 23 years of service.
Surviving are his wife, Janice (nee Cryder), whom he married September 21, 1947 in Gardner; a son, Tom (Maureen) Tambling of Morris, IL; four daughters, Villa Jean (John) Tjelle of Gardner, LaVaun (Bob) Tira of Coal City, IL, Susan (Bill) McDaniel of Gardner and Tami (Matt) Finn of South Wilmington, IL; 12 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a cousin, Harriett Topliff of Bradley, IL; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Hope in Gardner Wednesday, June 11 AM with Pastor Jan Chandler officiating. Interment Round Grove Cemetery in Round Grove Township. the visitation will be at the Church of Hope Tuesday, June 10, 2003 from 4 to 8 PM and Wednesday, June 11 one hour preceding services. Marion A. Williams (nee Titus), 89, of Naperville, IL passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, IL.
She was born December 28, 1913 in Lockport, IL.
She is survived by a son, LeRoy Williams of Morris, IL; a daughter, Mary Jane (Richard) Sacco of Newark, IL; a grandson, Charles Williams; four sisters, Bernice Titus, Marcella (Joseph) Jacksa, Marge (Duane) Dibble and Marilyn (Kenneth) McMillin; a brother, Melvin Titus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Williams; four brothers; and two sisters.
Mrs. Williams was a resident of Lockport, IL from 1932 to 1994. She was a member of the Farm Bureau and served on the Will County Election Board for 40 years. She was a former member of St. Mary Immaculate Church, Plainfield and St. Andrew Church, Romeoville. Mrs. Williams moved to Naperville in 1994 and was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Naperville.
Visitation will be Tuesday June 10, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2220 Lisson Rd, Naperville, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM at the church with Rev. Ernest Norbeck officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Plainfield, IL.

Preceded in death by her husband, Michael; father, Frank Grobarcik; mother, Rose (Hlina) Grobarcik; sisters, Rose (LeRoy) Norberg, Theresa Grobarcik, Julie (Dale) Treasure, Betty Grobarcik, and brother, Joseph (Vicky) Grobarcik.
Survived by two sons, Michael, Jr and Frank (Priscilla) Arbanas. One daughter, Rosanne (Joseph) White. One brother, Frank (Jim) (Mary) Grobarcik, Jr. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Jaci and Joshua White, and Matthew and Luke Arbanas. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She worked in retail sales at various locations in Joliet and Chicago. Ann was also a forelady at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant during World War II where she met her husband, the balance of her career was spent working full time as a loving wife, a wonderful mother and devoted homemaker. She was the best mother anyone could ever have. She will be missed but will always be with us. She also donated her time as a volunteer with the S. S. Cyril and Methodius Mothers Club, Joliet Catholic High School Mothers Club and Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home.
Funeral Services for Anna M. Arbanas will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2001 from the Tezak Funeral Home, 1211 Plainfield Rd at 9:30 AM to St. Mary Nativity Church for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment parish cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM

Survived by his loving wife, Patricia M. (Martin) Brown; one son, Robert (Lori) Brown; one daughter, Christina (Dave) Meeks; two granddaughters, Julia and Hayley Meeks; two brothers, Dennis (Billie Jo) Brown, Terry Brown; one sister, Kathy (Gil) Vale; and his mother, Jeanne (Lecture) Brown.
Born in Chicago living in New Lenox the past years coming from Righton Park.
Employed as an engineer for 36 years by Local 399 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Preceded in death by his father, Leo Brown.

Age 55, of Minooka. born November 3, 1945, passed away Friday, June 8, 2001. Preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lois Pace.
Survived by her children, Don "Boots" Coleman and Lucille "Sissy" (Eric) VanCleave all of Minooka; grandchildren, BJ Coleman, Britany and Joey VanCleave; brothers and sisters, Jim (Dawn) Edwards, Bob (Glenda) Pace, Linda (Rick) Sancasie and Susan Pace; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved friends, Sylvia and Dick Parker also survive.

Age 74. died in at Bon Secours Nursing Center in Venice, Florida, June 7, 2001 where he had been living in retirement.
A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 6 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Church, 8404 S. Cass Ave., Darien, IL where a concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 7:30 p.m. that evening. The Very Rev. Leo McCarthy, O. Carm., provincial superior of the Canadian-American Carmelite Province, will be the principle celebrant, along with the Rev. Bernhard Bauerle, O. Carm., superior of the Midwest Carmelite Commissary. The Rev. Kevin Shanley, O. Carm., prior of Aylesford Priory in Darien, will be the homilist.
Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Chicago on Wednesday, June 13, at 10 a.m.
a native of Chicago, Fr. Evers was born there on December 5, 1926. He attended both St. Carthage and St. Laurence grammar schools before entering Mt. Carmel Prep Seminary in Niagara Falls, Ont., in 1940 to study for the priesthood. Following high school, he served with the U.S. Army Signal Corps in Germany following World War II.
In 1947 Fr. Evers attended Loyola University in Chicago, and then enrolled at Mt. Carmel College in Niagara Falls, Ont. He later received a B.A. degree from Bellarmine College in Louisville, KY. He later completed his theology studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary in Darlington, NJ before being ordained a priest at St. Mary's Carmelite Church in Joliet, IL on May 16, 1979.
He also held an M.A. degree in German from Notre Dame University, and taught at DeSales High School in Louisville, KY, Mt. Carmel High School in Houston, TX, Carmel High School in Mundelein, IL and Joliet Catholic High School in Joliet, IL.
He is survived by two sisters, Andrea Evers and Joanne Kuglin.
