Preceded in death by his parents, Peter H. and Catherine (nee Skow) Holm; two brothers, Herbert M. and Milo L. (Evelyn) Holm.
Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Adelaide (nee Mansfield) of Joliet; one daughter, Catherine C. Griffin; two grandsons, Robert L. (Tami) and Steven W. Perry; one great-grandson, Kameron Perry; three sisters, Louise (Robert) Mickelson, Aldine (Herman) Olsen and Alberta (Clarence) Simantel; one brother, Irvin F. (late Evelyn) Holm.
Funeral services for Delbert L. Holm will be Monday, June 11, 2001 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 310 N. Broadway, Joliet where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Age 60. Friday, June 8, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. Late of Lockport.
Survived by her loving husband, Donald A. Lydigsen; one daughter, Lisa (Robert) Hill; one son, Andrew (Lori) Lydigsen; three grandchildren, Matthew and Katelynn Hill, Christopher Lydigsen; her mother, Matilda (Smith) Blogg and her beloved family dogs, Bruiser and Dynamite.
Born in Joliet, living in Lockport all of her life.
She was employed by Silver Cross Hospital for the last 10 years as a Patient Service Representative.
Preceded in death by her father, W. Melvin Blogg and a son, Douglas A.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Monday 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Services Tuesday, June 12, 2001, 10 A.M. in the funeral home Chapel with Rev. Kay Collins officiating. Interment will be at Lockport City Cemetery.

Frank A. Mantia, Sr.
Of Wilmington, passed away at Riverside Medical Center, Friday, June 8, 2001. Age 83 years. Survived by his wife of 49 years, Edith Mantia (nee Fortey); two daughters, Phyllis Mantia of Wilmington and Gayle (Dennis) VanDuyne of Henderson, NV; three sons, Frank A. Mantis, Jr. and William Mantia both of Wilmington and Scott Mantia of New Lenox. Two grandchildren, Evan and Jack VanDuyne. Also numberous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Louisa Mantia; two brothers, Eugene and Anthony; three sisters, Josephin Nonnie, Christine Pens and Mina Sheeler. A 46 year member of the Iron Workers Labor Union Local #444, retiring in 1982. Former member of the Southside Civic Club. Frank enjoyed boating in his younger years. Funeral Services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd, Tuesday, June 11 at 9:00 AM to the Church of St. Anthony's at 9:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial. Ralph C. Murphy
Age 95, of Joliet, Saturday, June 2, 2001 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. born August 21, 1905 in Aurora, IL to the late Charles J. and O. Christine Murphy. Moved to Joliet in 1930 and joined the law firm of Barr and Barr. He practiced law 56 years until his retirement in 1986, as senior partner in the firm then known as Murphy, Timm, Lennon, Spesia and Ayers. Fellow of the Amercan College of Trial Lawyers, member of the Illinois State Bar Association and past president of the Will County Bar Association. A Veteran of WWII, served as Lieutenant with Air Group 9 in the U.S. Navy aboard aircraft carriers in the Pacific. Promoted to Lieutenant Commander at the end of the War. Sixty year member of the Central Presbyterian Church of New Lenox (formerly of Joliet). Many civic involvements including past president and 59 year member of the Kiwanis Club, Community Chest, Campaign Chair and past president of Joliet and Chicago Red Cross Boards.
Survived by one son, Bert C. Murphy of Corte Madera, CA; two daughters, Christine M. (Ronald) Kuchinski of Vacaville, CA and Attorney Claire M. (Douglas) Wilson of Minooka; four grandchildren, Kelly M., Kasey L. and Kayla Kuchinski of Vacaville and Gregory M. Wilson of Minooka. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years, Dorothy L. (nee Lentz) Murphy; one son, Dan R. Murphy; brother, Harold J. (Nina) Murphy; two sisters, Hellen (late Haakon) Andersen and Frances (late Robert) Balsley.

Judith T. Santolin (nee Zupancic)
Age 58, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2001 after a courageous battle against MS. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Preceded in death by her father, Albin Zupancic; her mother Margaret (nee Filek) McFedries; and her stepfather, James McFedries.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Santolin; her sons, Michael, Christopher (Margaret) and Anthony Santolin; one brother, David Zupancic; and her favorite aunt, Rena.
Funeral Services will be held at the Grant-Tapella-Freitag Westwood Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at 8 PM. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 PM until the time of Services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, in her memory.

Passed away at Deerbrook Care Center, Thursday, June 7, 2001. Age 91 years.
Survived by his sister, Julia Turk of Rockdale; two nieces: Linda Jaeger of Crest Hill and Susan Reid of Channahon; a nephew, Ronald Simonic of Joliet.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Simonic; a sister, Elizabeth Donisch; and also, other brothers and sisters.
Veteran of WW II, serving in the U.S. Army.

Age 88. Friday, June 8, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. born in Joliet and a lifetime resident. A United States WWII Army Veteran.
Survived by one brother, John Stahl of Joliet. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Survived by two sons, Michael, Jr and Frank (Priscilla) Arbanas. One daughter, Rosanne (Joseph) White. One brother, Frank (Jim) (Mary) Grobarcik, Jr. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Jaci and Joshua White, and Matthew and Luke Arbanas. Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She worked in retail sales at various locations in Joliet and Chicago. Ann was also a forelady at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant during World War II where she met her husband, the balance of her career was spent working full time as a loving wife, a wonderful mother and devoted homemaker. She was the best mother anyone could ever have. She will be missed but will always be with us. She also donated her time as a volunteer with the S. S. Cyril and Methodius Mothers Club, Joliet Catholic High School Mothers Club and Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home.

Age 77. Saturday, June 9, 2001 at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center following a brief Illness. born in Joliet and a life long Joliet area resident. A World War II U. S. Army Air Corps veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre. Retired from the E.J. and E. Railroad as the Chief Train Dispatcher after over 41 years of service. A member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #300.
Preceded by his parents, Emmanuel and Marigoula Christofore. His sister, Ermina Topolski.
Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, "Pat" (nee Arthur) Christofore of Joliet. Two sons, Michael Howard (Sandra) Christofore of Joliet and Chris (Nancy) Christofore, Jr. of Channahon. One daughter, Karen J. Singer of Joliet. Five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Edward Topolski of Greenwood, Indiana also survive.

Loving mother of Marilyn J. (Leo) Clever; Daughter-in-law, Mary K. (Louis Dec) Hedstrom; dearest grandmother of Judith (Scott) Ferguson, Carol Chenoweth, Mary Ann (Charles) Macier, Jan (John) Wyatt, David (Terri) Clever, Alan Clever and Sara (Noel) Delgado all of Aurora; 13 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Louis V. Hedstrom (1980); one son, Louis W. Hedstrom (1998); parents, Matt and Mary (nee Ivanic) Kuzma; step father, Steve Krall; two brothers, John and Pete Kuzma; three step brothers, Michael, Joseph and John Krall; and one step sister, Anne Filipovich.
Mary was born in Dragatus, Austria May 8, 1902. Resided in Joliet since 1914. Was an avid swimmer at the YMCA.
