Born in Morris, IL, December 29, 1917 to George Wilson Blair and Maude Inez Dibble Blair. At rest Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at home after a long illness.
Survived by one daughter, Nancy (Tom) McGrath of Naperville; one son, Bill (Sharon) of Woodridge; three grandchildren, Don (Ronette) Schuck of Braceville, Greg and Beth Blair of Woodridge; three great grandchildren, Sara, Haley and Madyson Schuck of Braceville; three step grandchildren, Tom, Dan and Mike McGrath; one sister, Jeanne (Don) Odell and one brother, Wayne Blair; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, George; his mother, Maude; his brother, Robert; and sister, Betty.
Don resided in Plainfield since 1961. Was employed by and retired from Kerr Glass in Plainfield in 1983. Was a Master Mason of Plainfield Lodge #536.
Memorial services for Don Blair will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Plainfield United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Association. (1-800-227-2345).
Wilma D. Boldwin (Stokes)
Wilma D Boldwin, 75, of New Lenox, passed away, Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at the Miller Healthcare Center, Kankakee.
Visitation will be at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Roads, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
Services will be held Friday, June 15, 2001, 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Hahn officiating.
Mrs. Boldwin was born on September 13, 1925 in Mattoon, IL to Russell and Hazel Stokes.
Surviving are her husband Cecil whom she married on October 23, 1945 in Jefferson City, MO; one son, Thomas (Suzette) Boldwin of Bourbonnais; three grandchildren, David Schneider, Melody Lane and Holly Boldwin of Bourbonnais; one great grandchild, Alex Cadle of Bradley; two sisters, Jackie (David) Muys of Orland Park, Barbara (Richard) Padtra of Elgin; one sister in law, Mary Branch of Rocky Mount, MO, brother and sister in law, David and Lela Boldwin of Holt Summit, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Madonna and Rose Marie.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Joliet and was previously employed at Joliet Federal Savings and Loan.
Memorials to the Hospice of Kankakee Valley would be appreciated.

Age 83 years, died Sunday, June 10, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. born in Louin, Miss. She has resided in Joliet for 79 years. Retired Shelby-Craft Corp.
She is preceded in death by her husband Beverly Burton (1995); four brothers; one sister; and one grandson.
Lottie is survived by one daughter, Joyce Holmes; two sons, Claude (Betty) Burton and Donald (Ruby) Burton; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Bates and Fred (Ada) Bates both of Joliet, John Bates of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Loretta Knox. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Survived by his twin brother Lyle Gewehr of Joliet. Three cousins, Geraldine Boden, Beatrice Brooks and Gladys Floyd. Also survived by many dear friends.
Preceded in death by his parents Adam (1954) and Elizabeth (1982) Gewehr.
Graduate of Joliet Township High School class of 1931. Retired in 1980 from the E.J. & E. Railroad after 31 years. Member of the Old Timers Baseball Association and Board of Directors. Lifetime member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #300. Veteran of W.W.II serving in the U.S. Army. Member of the American Legion Harwood Post #5. Leonard was the equipment man for the Joliet Chargers Football Team. He was a Chicago Bears season ticket holder for 55 years and was an avid Cubs Fan.

Age 72, of North Port, FL, died June 9, 2001, at Bon Secours-Venice Hospital. He was born on December 29, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI. He came to the area two years ago from Minong, WI. He was a Baptist, and a member of the Minong Senior Singers "The Sing Along Wanzer's". He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed gardening, and singing.
He is survived by his wife Louise "Lou" Wanzer of North Port; Son, Ryan Wanzer of Wilmington, IL; Daughters, Ruth Bahr-Kaufman (Gene) of Pineville, NC, Kathy Schure (Robert) of North Port, FL, Step-daughter Patty Barry of Bradenton, FL;; Sisters, Dorothy Gravelle of El Cajon, CA, Effie Busbey-Wanzer of McDonough, GA, Florence Parks of Joliet, IL, Mary Keagle of Joliet, IL Sandra Neubauer of Las Vegas, NV; eight grandchildren; also preceded in death by his brothers Leroy Wanzer of Sioux City, IA, William Wanzer of Sidney, OH and his beloved dog Sadie.

Thomas Raine Wilson
Died June 3, 2001 in his sleep. born May 11, 1929 in Clarinda, Iowa and has been a Joliet area resident since 1958.
He attended the University of Iowa and received a Bachelor of Science in 1954 and Jurisprudence Doctor in 1957. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar Association and Iowa Bar Association in 1957. Thomas has practiced law in Joliet for more than 40 years, serving as a Magistrate/Associate Circuit Judge in the Circuit Court of Will County from 1967 to 1969. Most recently, he was a Partner in the Law Firm of Tracy, Johnson & Wilson (formerly Herschbach, Tracy, Johnson, Bertani & Wilson). He served as the Village Attorney of Shorewood for over 20 years, a member of the Will County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. Served as a member of the Will County Board. Thomas was proud to have participated in the Korean War, with the United States Marine Corp., where he was twice wounded in action and was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart Medals.
Survived by his loving wife Josephine Marie Wilson (nee Zadra), a daughter Lisa A. (Thomas) Slattery of Cedar Rapids, IA., Three sons George S. of Lemont, IL., Hugh L. (Laurie) of Whitehall, MD., and William L. of Plainfield, IL. His grandchildren Brodie Wilson, Thomas J. Slattery and Alexander Slattery. Four step children Jeffery P. Giarrante of Peoria, IL., Jodi A. Hergott of Newport Coast, CA., Todd J. Giarrante of Chicago, IL. and Tony A. Giarrante (Fiancee Donna Harris) of Joliet. Two step grandchildren Gina N. At Mr. Wilson's special request there will be no visitation, cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment of ashes will be held Thursday, June 14, at 2:00 p.m. for family and close friends, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with full military honors accorded by the United States Marine Corp.
A celebration of Thomas's life will be held for family and close friends at the Knight's of Columbus, 2720 W. Jefferson Street, Thursday, June 14, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
