Passed away Sunday, June 17, 2001. Age 84 years. born in Joliet, January 29, 1917 to Edward and Ruth Kaehlert. Preceded in death by her husband William Turner and her parents. Mrs. Turner was employed as a secretary and real estate agent to her retirement. At her request, cremation rites have been accorded. Private internment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery. Age 89, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet. Late of Joliet.
She is survived by a son, Richard F. (Gwen) Attaway; two daughters, Nancy (late Jack) Stark and Sandra (David) Bancroft; ten grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Living in the area most of her life, she was a member of Ingalls Park United Methodist Church and Rose's Circle at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Chester S. Attaway (1972); and a brother, Lee (Marge) Kurbis.
Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Roads, New Lenox, Saturday, June 21, 2003 from 2 to 6 PM. Services 12 Noon Sunday, June 22, 2003 in the funeral home with Rev. Frank M. Berman officiating Interment to follow to St. Joseph Cemetery in Manhattan.

Age 84, of Lemont, Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Silver Cross Hospital. born in Lemont on August 10, 1918, a lifelong resident. Employed by United Airlines, Chicago for 35 years, retiring in 1982. Employed by Family Medical Clinic, Lemont for five years from 1983-1988. Senior Citizen Volunteer for the Lemont Police Department for the past six years. Volunteer for St. Patrick Resale Shop for many years. Past President, Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W., Lemont Post #5819.
Survived by two nephews, Jim (Diane) Bittles of Downers Grove and John (Penny) Bittles of Lemont; a great nephew, Mike Bittles of Downers Grove; and a great niece, Elizabeth (Aaron) Anderson of Des Moines, IA.
Preceded in death by her parents, James and Paly Bittles; and a brother and sister-in-law, James and Helen Bittles.
Visitation Friday, 3 to 8 PM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral Services Saturday, June 21, 2003, 10:30 AM to St. Patrick Church, Lemont for Mass at 11 AM. Interment, parish cemetery.

Cortney A. Blalock
Age 27, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2003. born in Joliet, employed by Conexus Technologies and an Entrepreneur. Cortney graduated from Providence Catholic High School, Class of 1994. During his tenure at Providence, Cortney was a well known football star. He continued his education at Tennessee State University where he majored in Computer Science. He graduated from DeVry with his Bachelor of Science Degree. Cortney had many interests in sports. He played football for the Joliet Panthers Semi Pro football team. He was a highly ranked martial artist in Tae Kwon Do and he loved to play basketball. Cortney is loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his parents, Lucille Blalock and Robert Blalock Sr.; his brothers, Robert Blalock Jr. and Terrance Blalock; his life partner, Candance Avery; his daughters, Jailynn and Kortni; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2003 from 8 to 10 AM at New Life Christian Fellowship Church, 308 N. Midland Ave, Joliet, IL. Service at 10 AM with Pastor Victor E. McCullum officiating. Interment following at Elmhurst Cemetery, Joliet, IL.

Age 75 of Paducah KY, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.
He retired after 25 years from the International Paper Company as an inside Sales Representative.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Maxine (Lacey) De Caprio; daughter, Debbie De Caprio of Hoffman Estates, IL; two sons, Dave De Caprio of Paducah, Dan De Caprio of Manhattan, IL; five grandchildren, Scott, Carrie, Darcie, Julie, and Brian De Caprio; and five grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Angelo and Assunta (Aveta) De Caprio and two sisters.
Services for John A. De Caprio will be Saturday, June 21, 11:30 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home, Paducah, KY with Rev. Stan Reid officiating. Burial Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Age 85. Loving mother of Nancy (Richard) Cheviron, Mildred Keehn, Betty (Ronald) Ehrsam, Marsha Wenberg, Sherry (Richard) Anzelc, Brenda Chaplin, John (Millie), James (Jean), Larry (Kathy), David and Gary Harvey.
Dearest grandmother of 25 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Vernon E. Harvey; parents, John W. and Clemi (nee Martin) Guthrie; three grandchildren; eight sisters; and four brothers.

Age 51, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Late of Joliet.
He is survived by his parents, Lyal and Melva (Mueller) Lauth Jr; a son, Michael Lauth; two daughters, Jennifer Wanda and Amy Wanda; a brother, Lyal (Patricia) Lauth III; a sister, Cynthia (Bill) Minnear; and a granddaughter, Olivia Wanda.
Served in the U.S. Navy and was former President of Lauth Heating and Cooling.

Age 65, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at his home in Mountain View, MO. Formerly of Frankfort.
He is survived by his loving wife Phyllis (Hausmann) Lawler. Two sons, Richard E. Lawler and Michael Lawler. Five daughters Margaret (Randall) DeSalvo, Maureen (Paul) Gardner, Deanna (John) Stice and Mary Secord.
Also survived by 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Retired from the Sheet Metal Industry. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of St. John Vianney at Mountain View, MO. Moved away to Mountain View, MO in 1998 from Frankfort, IL.
He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Theresa Lawler and his son Norman Messer.
