Survived by wife Katherine, daughters Lora (Doug) Shadowens and Tiffany, two grandsons Connor Sundberg and Joshua Shadowens, and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Born in Chicago, raised in Lake Geneva, WI, he served in the Army and married Katherine in 1968.
Services will be held at a later date in Joliet, IL.

Age 84. Suddenly Tuesday, June 19, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. Late of Lockport.
Survived by his life long companion and beloved wife Ethel. Loving father of Patti Enk of Lockport. Devoted grandfather of Corryn Baczek. His brother Paul of Morris. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Verona, IL. Living in Lockport for many years.
Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Bill served and devoted his life to the service of ministry and spreading God's love to all who would listen.
U.S. Army Veteran serving during WWII and was the recipient of The Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
He retired from Union Oil after 21 years of service to spend his time enjoying his family and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Friday 5-8pm. Services will be Saturday June 23, 2001, 10am at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lawrence Pote officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to the Homer Congregational Church or flowers would be appreciated.

Eugene Francis Goron "Geno"
Age 50, of Shorewood, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. born June 7, 1951 in Joliet, Gene was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School and Lewis University. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and was employed by K-Mart as a retail manager. Gene was a staunch Cubs supporter with a keen sense of humor enjoyed by all who knew him.
Gene is survived by his wife of 24 years, Jody (nee Peters) Goron; two sons, Adam Joseph and Andrew Michael; his mother, Josephine (nee Mahkovec) Goron of Crest Hill; a sister, Joyce (Jack) Fremeau of Jackson, MI. Numerous aunts, uncles, one niece and eight nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Goron.
Funeral services for Gene Goron will be Monday, June 25, 2001 at 10:15 a.m. from the West Chapel to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Private inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park. Age 77. Wednesday, June 20, 2001 at Provena Saint Jospeh Medical Center. born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Formerly employed by the Joliet Herald News (Society Page). Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, and an active bowler with St. Paul's Women's Bowling League. She was an avid bridge player and golfer.
Preceded by her husband, William E. Greenly Jr. (Aug. 7, 1989); one son, William E. Greenly III (Dec. 29, 1973); parents, F.J. and Grace (nee Noirot) Munchalfen; one grandson, James J. Angulo.
Survived by two daughters, Elizabeth (Demetrius) Carter of Homewood and Joan (Henry) Bryan of Elwood; one son, Robert J. Greenly of Joliet; two grandchildren, Bill Bryan and Diana Angulo; two great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Coty Hoffman.
Private funeral services for Peggy Greenly will be held with interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Age 79, of Lemont, June 20, 2001. born in West Elizabeth, PA, she has resided in Lemont for the past 38 years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Fred Knott, (May 23, 2001); and six brothers and sisters.
Survived by a son, Fred (MaryAnn) Knott; a daughter, Jackie Grider, both of Lockport; five grandchildren, Christine Knott of Philadelphia, PA, Jennifer Rick of Naperville, William G. (Holly) Rick, Nathan Rick, both of Lockport, and Katherine Rick of Joliet; a great-granddaughter, Monika Gomez; and a sister, Dorothy.

Daniel W. Burkhart, at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Wednesday, June 19, 2002. Age 31 years.
Survived by his devoted mother, Marlene Burkhart (nee Rambo); sisters, Tammi (Dave) Akers of Channahon and Sheila Peoples of AL; three nephews, DJ, Derrik and Austin Akers. Also several aunts, uncle and cousins.
Preceded in death by his father, Herb (1984); his maternal grandparents, Chuck and Willetta (Etheridge) Rambo.
Born in Joliet and was a lifelong Joliet resident. He was extremely proud in earning his Associates Degree from McMurray College.
