Francis George Briddick, Jr. "Frank"
Age 26, died in the emergency room of the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Lafayette, on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 7:05 a.m. following a car - motorcycle accident on State Road 25, south of Shadeland.
He was born in Joliet, Illinois, on May 21, 1975. He was the son of Francis George Briddick and Janice Ellen Breen Briddick Fagan. He lived most of his life in Joliet and for the past four years has resided in Attica. Frank had attended Lincoln-Way High School in New Lenox, IL. He worked as a truck driver for the Schilli Distribution Trucking Company in Lafayette for the past two years.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale, IL. He enjoyed four-wheeling, playing with his children and collecting model semi-trucks.
Frank married Stormy Dawn Mattingly on July 20, 1995 in Williamsport, IN. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Francis George Briddick III (age 5), Kegan Alexander Briddick (age 4) and Camden Thomas Briddick (age 16 months), all at home; his mother, Janice E. Fagan, Morris, IL; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Elizabeth Briddick, Rockdale, IL; maternal grandmother, Genevieve Fuller, Joliet, IL; a sister, Lesley Harang, Marseilles, IL; two good friends, Dan Hobbs, Williamsport and Mark Hobbs, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Owen Dellas Fuller and his father, Francis George Briddick.
Friends will be received at the Westwood Memorial Chapel, 3201 W. Jefferson St., Joliet, IL, on Thursday, June 28th from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Services will be held at the Westwood Memorial Chapel on Friday, June 29th, at 10:00 a.m. with burial in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet, IL.

Of Joliet, passed away at Georgetown Hospital, Washington, D.C., Thursday, June 21, 2001.
Survived by her daughter, Pamela S. Corsini and her son, David F. Corsini, both of Alexandria, VA. A sister-in-law, Alice Boresi of Coal City, IL. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank S. Corsini (June 6, 1976), her parents, Elmer and Barbara J. Larson.
Graduate of Silver Cross Hospital School of Nursing and North Central College. Retired from Silver Cross Hospital since 1986. Past President of the Illinois Nurses Association-Region Two, Past President of the Joliet Community Services Council, Chairman of the Illinois Cancer Society-Nurses Division, Chairman of the Will/Grundy Cancer Society, Chairman of the Illinois Society of Volunteer Directors, Past President of Catherine Gaffney Circle Kings Daughters, Member of Silver Cross Hospital Retiree Committee, Silver Cross Celebrity Spotlight and Silver Cross Caring Committee, Member of Widows of Medinah Nobles, Women's Club of Joliet, Member of Grace United Methodist Church. Recipient of the February 22, 2000 Joliet Rotary Club Silver Eagle Award in appreciation for many years of continuously giving of herself to make life better for others.

Sue Cox, late of Wilmington, IL passed away suddenly Saturday, June 23, 2001 Palos Hospital, Palos Park, IL. Age 49 years.
Born July 1, 1951 to James (deceased) and Bernadine (Van Duyne) Oliver in Joliet, IL.
She was a graduate of St. Francis Academy, Joliet, IL. Member of St. Rose Catholic Church of Wilmington. She was employed as a Supervisor for Target Corp. Bradley, IL.
Survived by her loving mother and son, James. One sister, Jane (Fred) Reardanz. One niece, Courtney and one nephew, Chris Reardanz, all of Wilmington. Two aunts, Bonnie Oliver of Plainfield and Lorraine Kuriger of Florida. Dear friends, Terri Clark and Gail Riffle. Numerous friends and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Visitation will be at the Reeves Funeral Home, Wilmington, on Wednesday, June 27th from 4 to 7 PM.

David Arthur Griffin
Born in Joliet, Illinois, resided in Denver, Colorado for 15 years, where he passed away on February 10, 2001, at the age of 61. He is survived by a son, Aaron Micha, who he always carried in his heart. Also survived by his four brothers and three sisters; Robert (Arlene) Griffin of Glen Ellyn, George (Trula) Griffin of Maryville, Tenn., Paul (Joanne) Griffin of Glen Ellyn, Marvin Griffin of Braidwood, Marjorie (Frank) Adair of Flushing, Michigan; Ruth (Gerry) Stoj of Naperville; and Mary Lou Carlson of Braidwood. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Francis Griffin, and a sister Dorothy Urbanec.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corp.

Age 81. Passed away Monday, June 25, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center after a long illness. Former Chicago resident. Beloved wife of 56 years to Frank Rex Provenzale. Dorothy R. Scholtes (nee Setina)
Age 76. Passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph's Medical Center. Dorothy was born in Joliet on July 23, 1924, and lived her whole life in the Joliet area. Founding member of the Joliet Quilters Guilds, serving as historian from 1983-1999. Dorothy enjoyed gardening. She had a spectacular day lily garden that brought her much joy, so much so that she shared them with her family and friends. She was a talented quilter, creating quilts for each of her grandchildren. Dorothy devoted her life to her husband, children and grandchildren and received great joy and fulfillment out of spending time with them. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Setina, her mother, Angela (Ursich) Setina and her granddaughter, Laura J. Zielinski. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 57 years, William F. Scholtes, her beloved children, Paul W. (Mary Kay) Scholtes, Jean M. (Gary) Zielinski, Luanne (Tom) Burns and Nicholas J. (Stacy) Scholtes; nine beloved grandchildren, Bill, Joe and Kate Scholtes, Marie and Gail Zielinski, Valerie, Celeste and Michael Burns and Morgan Scholtes. She is also survived by her sisters, Genevieve (Henry) Graf of Chicago, Beatrice (late Douglas) Krause of Michigan and Joan (late Walter) Kerwin of Wheaton, her brother, Michael (Marilyn) Setina of Decatur and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was a vibrant woman who left a legacy of love and kindness behind.
