She is survived by her husband, Curtis, Machesney Park. Her parents, John and Marcella Nicholson of Joliet. Daughters, Adrienne (Mike) West, Seattle, WA; Elissa (Roger) Knutsen, New Lenox, IL; Terry (Stephen) Bozarth, Davis, IL; Tina Brown, Loves Park. Sons, Kevin (Denise)Mitzit, LaGrange, IL; Maj. Curtis (Christine) Moore II, Virginia Beach, VA; Tom Moore of Roscoe, 10 grandchildren. Sisters, Charmaine Ann Grant and Camille Elizabeth Nicholson. Brothers, John and Daniel Nicholson. Anna Theresa Pohlers, 95, of Ocala, FL, formerly of Davenport died Friday, June 26, 2002 at 1:00 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11-1 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Davenport, Iowa.
Anna was born January 29, 1907 in Davenport to Anton and Caroline (Reihman) Weinman. She married Julius Herman Pohlers on September 21, 1929 in Joliet, IL, he preceded her in death on September 30, 1985.
She was a homemaker.
Anna is survived by sons; James J. Pohlers, Ocala, FL, Paul W. Pohlers, Wildwood, MO, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters, Emily Fels and Marie Calihan both of Amana, IA, numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by son, Lee Pohlers, brother, William Weinman, and her parents.

Age 78, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at his late residence. born in Kinderhook, IL and a resident of Joliet the past 45 years. Retired from Boilermakers Union Local #1 in 1985. Member of Grace United Methodist Church. A World War II U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater. A supporter of the V.F.W. and American Legion.
Surviving are his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara (Kilmer) Preble of Joliet; five children: Gail Bjeckich of Joliet, Christopher (Pam) Preble of Shorewood, Ann (Dwight) Wernecke of Alexandria, VA, Sue Whyte of Hoffman Estates and Lynn (Daniel) Pavnica of Carol Stream; twelve grandchildren: Mandy (Eric) Robertson, 2nd Lt. Melissa Bjekich, Tracy Bjekich; Kelly, Dana, Eric and Brian Wernecke; Justin and Erin Whyte; Kevin, Jozef and Kristyn Pavnica; one great-grandson, Max Robertson.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Marie Preble; two sisters and one brother.

Of Minooka, IL, formerly of Plainfield, IL. died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at her home. She was born in Long Island, New York.
Survived by her daughter, Heidi (Gerald) Nelson of Minooka, IL. Two sons, Peter Schulze of Minooka, IL, and Paul (Martia) Schulze of Kearns, Utah. Three grandchildren, Carl Schulze, Megan Nelson, and Kyle Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick.
Charlotte had retired from Wicks Lumber after 20 years of service and was a member of the Abundant Life Lutheran Church in Plainfield. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens in her spare time.

He was a U.S. Navy World War II Veteran. Retired from Caterpillar.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Clara B. Spencer (1985) and his second wife, Cosby J. Spencer (1995), his parents, Perry and Sallie (nee Oswalt) Spencer; his sister, Yvonne Holliman; brothers, Joseph, Artie and Sid Spencer; and one grandchild.

Age 26, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2001 as a result of an automobile accident. La'Keshia was born January 16, 1975. Lived her whole life in the Joliet, IL area. Attended Joliet Public Schools. She was employed at Sam's Club.
Survived by her two sons Floyd Faint Jr. and Ja'Vontae W. Gray. Her loving parents Doris M. Booker and Buster Lee Anderson. Two brothers, Kevin N. Booker, Sr. and Dennis Anderson. Age 66. Passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. born June 21, 1935 in Freeport, MN, she has been a longtime Joliet resident. She was a loyal and devoted manager of the cafeteria at Washington Junior High School for over 33 years. She also enjoyed her part time passion as a representative for the Chicago Little People, where she made many dear friends. Evelyn looked forward to her yearly trips at the family gatherings in Minnesota. She was a proud grandmother who received great joy from spending time with her beloved grandchildren, attending all of their functions and events. Coming from a family of 17, Evelyn's strong family values will continue to live on in her three daughters.
She was a loving mother of Kimberly Ann Weber of Joliet, Susan Dawn (Rick) Hofer of Channahon and Julie Lynn (Rich) Sitar of Martinton, IL. Devoted grandmother of Megan, Katelyn and Jacob Hofer, Jeremy and Jon-Michael Holmes and Brian and Amanda Sitar. Loving sister of 16. Fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Age 69, of Joliet, June 27, 2001 peacefully, reunited with Christ to join her heavenly family surrounded by her four children at her side.
Survived by her loving husband of 42 years Albert P. Machak, four children; Mary Catherine (E.J.) Foody of Tampa, FL, Michael Edward of Nashville, TN, Daniel Joseph of Joliet, and Laura Ann (Paul) Hart of Tampa, FL; beloved Grammy of Victoria Leslie Foody and Edmund Joseph (Trey) Foody of Tampa; sister of James A. Blackburn of Joliet, sister-in-law of Mary Jean Blackburn, Helen Watson, John Machak, Lorraine Slaughter, Ed Krizmanic and Mae Machak. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents William H. and Cleo Mary Blackburn, and two brothers Dr. William H. and Robert E. Blackburn.
Born in Joliet, Sara graduated from Joliet Township (Central) High School and St. Joseph School of Nursing, specializing in Pediatric Nursing. Her nursing career included many years at the Joliet Medical Group, she was a private duty nurse for Bishop Romeo Blanchette, and also a nurse at Morris Pediatrics. She was very involved in her children's lives including 4H, Cub Scouts, dance, and numerous school clubs, projects, and activities. Sara courageously faced the struggles in her life including caring for her husband Albert who suffers with Alzheimer's Disease, and the heart disease that claimed her life. Sara's children wish to thank everyone for their prayers, cards and support through this most difficult time.

Born August 29, 1909 in Joliet, IL to the late John and Agnes (Kurtman) Korelc. Employed as a Nurse's Aide at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Joliet, IL for 25 years, retiring in 1970. Member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Joliet, the Rosarian Club, and the Godley Park District Senior Citizens. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, and family gatherings.
Surviving are two daughters, Gloria Van Winsen of Godley and Charlene (Kenneth) Hand of Winigan, MO; three sons, Joseph Olson, Jr. of Rockdale, IL, James Olson of Godley, and Paul Olson of Joliet; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Korelc of Lemont, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
