Survivors include her husband, Jim Tufts of Conifer; mother, Barbara Bray of Sun City AZ.; sisters, Cathy (John) Schrolucke of Glendale AZ and Cindy (Lee) Hansen of Manhattan; brothers, Robert Jr. of Mobile AL, Mike of San Diego Ca and Steve (Paula) of Indianapolis IN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her father, Robert Bray Sr.
Memorial Services were held July 18 at Evergreen Memorial Park in Evergreen CO.

Age 88. Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Rosewood Care Center. born in Canada and a resident of Joliet since 1963. Pastored for over 30 years in Broken Bow, Nebraska; Carney, Nebraska where he pioneered a radio ministry; Springfield, MO; Parma, Ohio; Chicago and Joliet, Illinois at Faith Assembly of God.
Surviving are his children, Paul S. (Arieta) Bredesen of Joliet, Virginia R. Mack of Little Rock, AR, Robert J. (Carol) Bredesen of Joliet, Dan (Christa) Bredesen of Lockport and Rev. Steve J. (Stephanie) Bredesen of Ponca City, OK. Grandfather of 18; great-grandfather of 18; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Agnes R. (nee Austin) Bredesen (1998); parents, Carl and Ruth (nee Larson) Bredesen; one grandson, Trevor; one great-grandson, Zachary Bredesen.

Survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Natalene (Ralph) Ferrari of Clifton, IL, Alice Sartore of Joliet, IL and Ronald Rickey of Eagan, MN; five granddaughters, Cari (Scott) Pierard of Coal City, IL, Michelle (Daniel) Fennell of Homewood, IL, Vikki (Brett) Morrical, of Mishawaka, IN, Dana Rickey of Eagan, MN, and Rachel (Jermyn) Boyd of Eagan, MN; six great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Rita Huber of Essex, IL, Frances Allen of South Wilmington, IL; and Emadee and Ronald Guest of Reddick, IL. Passed away July 18, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. born to John and Nellie Connolly on March 5, 1913.
Survived by three sisters, Harriet (Les, deceased) Reardanz, Marjorie (Tom, deceased) Barry of Morris, and Helen (Bob, deceased) Lamping of Channahon, dear sisters-in-law Grace Overton and Almeda (Gene) Connolly; two daughters Shirley (John, deceased) Johnson of Channahon and Linda McMillin of Joliet; one son Jerry (Betty) Frederick of Ocala, FL, nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Hazel (1989) and brother Eugene.
Joe was a proud Veteran of World War II. After retiring from construction he and Hazel owned and operated Connolly's Tavern in Channahon. He and Hazel then retired in 1973 to Ocala, FL. Joe was an avid hunter and trapper. He returned to this area in 1995.

Age 67, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at her residence surrounded by her family. born in Waukegan, IL and a resident of Joliet since 1943.
Surviving are her loving husband of 20 years, Peter P. Lopez of Joliet; nine children, Sandra Brackins, David (Sandy) Bales, Michael Bales, Christine Hernandez, Kathleen (Paul) Jurkowski, Antoinette Bales, Joseph Lopez, Pete (Barb) Lopez, Jr., and Linda (Billy) Boyd; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Geraldine (Richard) Lee; two brothers, William Holcomb and Daniel Holcomb. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Grace McKee
Beloved Organist of the Ingallas Park United Methodist Church for 68 years, died July 19, 2001 at the age of 87. Daughter of Carl and Lyda McKee, she was preceded in death by them and a brother, William (Della).
Grace was a graduate of JTHS ('31) and of J.J.C. She worked for the F.E. Shundler Co., later Johns Manville, and retired after 42 years of service. Grace traveled extensively, including two trips to the Holy Land and tours of 6 of the 7 continents. Writing was one of her enjoyments and she attended elderhostels and writer's workshops for several years before publishing two books of poems and prose. Grace gave freely of her time as a volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital, though Reach to Recovery, and at Sunny Hill Nursing Home. She was a past president of Church Women United of Greater Joliet, and of the Ladies Auxiliary Cantigny Post #367 V.F.W. As an active member of Ingalls Park Church, Marguerite #187 Order of the Eastern Star, Bethany Shrine #7, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Will County Union of the Kings Daughters and Sons Nellie K. Smith Circle, Grace worked faithfully to support each. She was one to generously help others and received loving care, especially during her final months, in response. Grace will be missed. She requested that memorial gifts be directed to Ingalls Park United Methodist Church, Joliet.

Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Virginia E. (Tyler) Miller; three daughters, Lisa (Joseph) Ramos, Teresa Miller and her Fiancee Wendell Schmalz, Gail (Salvatore) Dandrea; two grandsons, Kyle Ramos and Kayln Schmalz; three sisters, Geneva (Byron) Hess, Darlene (Kenneth) Fritsch, and Arlene (Richard) Janovsky.
Born in Viborg, SD, living in Mokena since 1968. An Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he retired in 1989 from General Motors after 31 years as a die setter. He was also member of Harry E. Anderson VFW Post 9545.

Alexander was born in Joliet and lived in Gary, Indiana, for much of his life and returned to Joliet in 1974. Retired 1968 from U.S. Steel, member of Knights of Columbus in Gary, Indiana, and Joliet, Sacred Heart Holy Name Society, and was an usher in Gary, Indiana, and Holy Cross Church in Joliet. Belonged to the Ostomy Society and was very active in the Joliet Senior Service Center.
