Marian E. Warmuth, 84, of Aurora passed away on Monday, April 2, 2001, at her home.
She was born July 4, 1916 in Central City, IL, the daughter of the late William and Caroline (Kline) Brown.
Survivors include: her brother, Glen (Leota) Brown of Mt. Vernon, IL; her sisters, Mildred Parr and Maxine Williams, both of Mt. Vernon, IL, and, Wanda Hudson of Pampa, TX. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a good friend and neighbor, Lodema Krause.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Warren; three brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law; and a good friend, Betty Welch.
Private interment will be in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Leonard John Dieden
Leonard John Dieden, 85, of Aurora, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. He was born August 20, 1915 in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Dieden was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post #84.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Marie (Scheunemen) Dieden.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at 11:15 AM at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Westmont, Illinois. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora. (630) 898-8634.

Georgia Diane Morrison, on Thursday, March 15, 2001. Georgia Diane Morrison (Christian), 72, formerly of Plano, IL. passed away in Tucson, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30pm Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at the Masonic Sunbeam Lodge Post 428, 5 West Main St. Plano, IL. Interment will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO on Monday, April 9, 2001 at 2:00pm.
Mrs. Morrison was born February 21, 1929 in Edwardsville, IL to Roy and Ester Christian. She married James Edward Morrison on September 23, 1946 at The Little Brown Chapel, Fort Riley, Kansas.
She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, An election judge for Plano, IL., a member of Eastern Star Plano Chapter No. 475 and Lorriane chapter of Oswego No. 70, Plano Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 395, Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. Post 2365, she also is retired from Western Electric in Montgomery, IL.
She is survived by two daughters, Juldith L. Morrison of LaSalle, IL, Vickie L. (Mike) Woolley of Fulton, MO.; three granddaughters and a grandson, Vickie ((Annie), Diane (Christopher) Smith of Utica, IL, Rebecca L. Smith-Kincaid of Olney, IL, Candice L. and Joshua Crawford both of Fulton, MO.; a step granddaughter Patty (Tim)Haygood of Streator, IL.; four great grandchildren, Keith James and Lacey Renee Smith, Tyhame and Hallie Wheeler, two step great grandchildren, Heather and Sean Haygood; also three sisters Ester Sargent of Tucson, AZ, Myrna Swyers of Miami, FL., Donna (Steve) Ruby of St. Louis, MO. and a brother, Richard (Kitty) Christian of Hazelwood, MO.; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Morrison in 1998, two sons in infancy James in 1951 and Richard William in 1952; her mother and father, Esther and Roy Y. Christian; two brothers Roy Y. Christian Jr., William (Buck) Christian, one sister Joan Stroud and one nephew Richard W. (Rick) Christian.

Harry E. Tibbitts, age 69. Saturday, April 7, 2001 at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. born in Iowa, a resident of Crest Hill for 20 years, moving to Coal City in 1973. Owner/operator of Joliet Window Cleaning Service. Member of Peace Lutheran Church, Morris, Joliet Elks Lodge #296 serving as two-time past exhaulted ruler and president of the past exhaulted rulers. Also a member of the Joliet Noon Lions Club. An avid bowler and golfer.
Surviving is his loving wife, Wilma (Rains) Tibbitts of Coal City. Eight children, Ann (Don) Wollenweber, Terry (Gale) Freeman, Harry Tibbitts, Bob (Mila) Freeman, Vickie (Terry) Smoots, Cindy (Ernie) Ellis, Janet (Peter) Martin and Doug (Sarah) Tibbitts. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two brothers, Leo (Anna) Tibbitts and Ralph Tibbitts. One sister, Sandra (Chuck) Stanbro. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Irene Tibbitts. One brother, James Tibbitts.

Donald C. Warren
Mr. Donald C. Warren, 80, of Aurora passed away on Friday, April 6, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center Hospital. He was born August 23, 1920 in Elmhurst, IL to the late Alexander and Mary (Emery) Warren.
Donald graduated from York High School in Elmhurst in 1938. He continued his education at Purdue University where he attained a Degree in Civil Engineering in 1942 while also participating as a member of the Purdue University swim team. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II and achieved the rank of Captain where he was affiliated with the Fifth Field Artillery Unit in the Africa, Sicily and Italy campaigns. In 1948, Donald married the former Marian Johnson in Glen Ellyn. They made their home in Wheaton from 1950 to 1980 before settling in Aurora. He was President and co-owner of Warren Bros. Construction Company from 1955 to 1987. Warren Bros. built many local buildings including schools as well as the original Aurora Police Department. Donald was highly respected for his integrity and honesty by his friends and business associates in his many years of involvement with the Aurora community. He had been a member of the Aurora Rotary Club since 1966 and the Fox Valley General Contractor's Association (Past President). He also attended Wesley United Methodist Church. Donald and Marian were avid R.V. enthusiasts, having spent the last 14 wonderful winters in Gulf Shores, Alabama. He was also a math mentor to students at McCleery Grade School. His other interests included reading, hiking, bicycling, golfing, volleyball and swimming. To his family, he was a loving husband, devoted father and doting grandfather.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Marian of Aurora; his two sons, Clifton (Carol) Warren of Aurora and Thomas (Connie) Warren of Cincinnati, Ohio; his two daughters, Barbara (Howard) Pribble of Batavia and Marjorie (Mourey) Bixler of Aurora; seven grandchildren, Jason Warren of Tucson, AZ, Cara (Doug) Drexler of Geneva, Katy Pribble of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Cassie Pribble of Batavia, Rebecca Warren of Cincinnati, Ohio and Megan and Matt Bixler, both of Aurora; two brothers, Harold E. (Ruth) Warren of St. Charles and Robert A. (Lois) Warren of Aurora; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Wesley Untied Methodist Church with Rev. Fredric Lippert officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Monday, April 9, 2001 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora.
Memorial donations may be directed to Wesley United Methodist Church, the National Kidney Foundation or to the hospice of the donor's choice. Rose S. Bell
Mrs. Rose S. Bell, of Aurora passed away April 6, 2001 at her home. She was born June 26, 1916 in Aurora to the late Jacob and Susanna Szenner.
Rose was a member of the Fox Valley Hiking and Biking Club. She was an avid card player and enjoyed traveling. She was also a volunteer at Mercy Center for several years. She touched many lives and everybody who knew her loved her.
She is survived by her two nieces, Suzanne (Donald) Clark of Lake Mills, WI, Sally (Edwin) Baker of Fort Collins, CO, and many other nieces and nephews; two sister-in-laws, Anne Matteys of St. Charles, Ellie Peterson of Burlington, IL and a special friend and caregiver Mr. C.D. Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Bell in 1980 and three brothers.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. April 10, 2001 at Lincoln Memorial Park with Rev. Charles Rinks officiating. Roger R. Chapman
Roger R. Chapman, age 79, of Hinckley, Illinois passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2001 at Provena Mercy Center in Aurora, Illinois.
He was born on September 14, 1921 in Waterman, Illinois the son of Ernest W. and Golden Rhea (Hampton) Chapman. Roger was united in marriage on May 9, 1944 at the Pierce Community United Methodist Church in Maple Park, Illinois to the former Velma Ederer and they spent the next 56 happy years of their lives together. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. The happiest times of his life are the one's that he spent with his family. Mr. Chapman was a very active member of the Hinckley First United Methodist Church in Hinckley, Illinois. In his early years, Roger was a farmer and throughout his life he continued to enjoy the outdoors, particularly gardening. Later he was employed by both the J.A. Nash Company in Hinckley and Floor to Ceiling in Dekalb, Illinois as a carpet installer. Roger was a true"people person" who was always interested in others. Everyone who knew him will always remember Roger for his wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife, Velma of Hinckley, Illinois; his daughters, Sandy (Chuck) Hillman of Maribel, Wisconsin, Shari (Mike) Kuemmel of Hinckley, Illinois, Rene Sobol of Sandwich, Illinois, and Geri (Mark) Rissman of Naperville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Matt Winckler and Adam Winckler, both of Hinckley, Illinois, Heather Hillman (Fiance', Andy Royer) of Sycamore, Illinois, Erin (John) Wilson of Madison, Wisconsin, Clayton Sobol of Sandwich, Illinois, Ashley Rissman and Ian Rissman both of Naperville, IL, Mike (Jennifer) Kuemmel, Matt (Fiance', Jenny Rydel) Kuemmel and Brian Kuemmal all of Missouri; his step great-grandsons, Michael M. Kuemmel and Ross Kuemmel of Missouri.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Geraldine.
Funeral Services for Mr. Chapman will be held at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at the Hinckley First United Methodist Church in Hinckley, Illinois with Reverend D. Robin Benson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Mound Cemetery in Somonauk, Illinois.

Eunice (Daniels) Detzler
Mrs. Eunice (Daniels) Detzler, 70, of Aurora fought cancer since February of 1999. She passed away April 8, 2001 at her home. She was born Jan. 5, 1931 in Stahl, MO to the late Everett and Hazel (Sanders) Daniels.
Eunice loved garage sales, collecting, flowers, working in her garden and having lunch with her children and friends. She graduated from East Aurora High School in 1949. She worked at Timmee Toys, Anixer Wire, Valley Seed, Belden and UPS Shipping. She attended and was a member of the First Baptist Church. To all my children and husband - "I will always be your guardian angel 'til we meet again."
She is survived by her loving husband, John Detzler, five wonderful children, Wenel Jais, Jeffrey Buchanan, Dana Young, David Buchanan, Andy Buchanan, three step-children, Valerie Detzler, Darice Jarnecke and John Detzler Jr.; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Milewski, Jenel Buchanan, Jasmine Buchanan, Michael Toy, Jason Toy, Matthew Herman, Nathaniel Herman, Sean Buchanan, Amanda Buchanan, Andrea Buchanan, Amber Jarnecki and Melinda Jarnecki. One brother, Lloyd Daniels. A very special friend Gwen Jungels and two special cats Taffy Apple and Pumpkin. The family would like to thank Fox Valley Hospice for all their care and support.

Rose Marie Eckberg (nee Alirie), of South Elgin passed away Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Provena Mercy Hospital in Aurora.
She was born July 15, 1931 in Manassa, Colorado.
Mrs. Eckberg was a homemaker.
She was the beloved wife of Donald W.; loving mother of Douglas (Laura) and Dana (Lorene) Eckberg; fond grandmother of Heather (Lyle) Long, Dustin, Sara, Karl, Katie, Erik, Lindsey and Zachery Eckberg; great-grandmother of Katrina and Jonathon; dear sister of Dolores Speichert, David Elf and Wayne and Victor Alirie; and fond aunt of Sandy Reynolds.

Carl L. Estes, 80, of Stutland, MO., formerly of Aurora passed away Monday, April 9, 2001, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, MO.
Carl was employed with the Burlington Northern Railroad for 42 years.
He is survived by his wife Anna, whom he was married to for 47 years; one son, Donald Estes of Aurora, IL; one stepson, Charles Potts of South Carolina; one stepdaughter, Jonelle Preisser of Redwood City, CA.; five brothers, Robert (Lucy) Estes, Lloyd (Barb) Estes, all of Broadhead, WI., Tom (Barb) of Rockford, IL., Andy (Ella) Estes of Fort Lauderdale, FL., and Charles (Jean) Estes of Rockford, IL; four sisters, Clara Mae (Don) Ballinger of Humble, TX., Marge Stewart of Aurora, IL, Helen Lawrence of Rockford, IL., and Betty (Jack) Holt of Tellico Plains, TN; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Bill Hanscom of Fairfield, ME; seven grandchildren; James D. (Carol) Haesler of Aurora, Jon P. (Linda) Haesler of Aurora, Margaret (Robert) Allen of Aurora, Sharon (Horace) Barstow of Maine, Cathy (John) Grard of Maine, Marjorie (Edward) Witthe of Massachusetts, Howard (Audrey) Hanscom of Massachusetts; twelve great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Haesler; her son, James R. Haesler and her great-grandson, James P. Haesler.

Lillian Walker Singleterry, 89, Dowling Park, Florida, Saturday, April 7, 2001.
Lillian lived in Aurora, IL for many years before moving to Dowling Park in 1981. She was an accountant for Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. She was also a member of the Business & Professional Womens Club in Aurora, Illinois as well as a member of The Advent Christian Church in Dowling Park, Florida.
she is survived by two brothers; Franklin E. Walker and William A. Walker, Jr. both of Live Oak, Florida; three sisters; Eunice Kinard and Alice Kahle both of Dowling Park, Florida and Eleanor Wheeler of San Rafael, CA.; one step-son, George Singleterry; one-step-daughter; Margaret Sinkey of Calgary, Alberta.
