Gregory A. Wrzeszcz
Gregory A. Wrzeszcz, 66, of Elmwood Park, died June 5, 2002 in Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood.
Mr. Wrzeszcz was born March 25, 1936, in Chicago. Prior to his retirement, he was a graphic artist for a printing company.
He was the son of the late Ambrose and Katherine; father of Melissa; brother of Owen (Donna) and Timothy; uncle of Branch and Cheryl Ruf and Matthew; and friend of Mary Biolek.
Visitation was held June 9 in Lewis Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated June 10, 2002 in St. Cyprian Church, River Grove.
Interment was in Mount Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.

Antoinette J. Biscaglio
Antoinette J. “Toni” Biscaglio (nee Trumfio), 82, of Elmwood Park, died July 7, 2002 in Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington.
Mrs. Biscaglio was born Oct. 23, 1919, in Chicago. She retired as the longtime manager of Montgomery Ward’s Candy Department, Cheese Shop and Tobacco Department at Ward’s State Street store in Chicago. She was a member of St. Celestine Church in Elmwood Park.
Mrs. Biscaglio is survived by her children, Rocco of Elmwood Park and Lucia of Barrington; grandchildren, Rocco (Renee) Biscaglio Jr. of Mokena, Anthony of Aurora, Colo., Nicolas and Michael, both of Elmwood Park, Nicole Costello of New York and Tona, Ernest and John Costello, all of Chicago, and Jessica (Zac) Avery of Kenosha, Wis.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nick, Mrs. Biscaglio was preceded in death by her siblings, Anne DeGrasse, Harry (Mary of Willowbrook) Trumfio, Mary Vianom, formerly of Joliet, and Frank Trumfio.
Visitation and funeral services were held July 10, 2002 in Montclair Funeral Home. Arrangements were handled by Severino Funeral Directors.
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.

Myra Evelyn Kusta
Myra Evelyn Kusta of Woodridge, mother of James Kusta, president of Franklin Park Building Materials, died May 26, 2002 in Hinsdale Hospital.
Mrs. Kusta was the wife of James Kusta Sr. In addition to James, she was also the mother of Edward (Shirley) of Bolingbrook; grandmother of David (Dawn), and Marcy (Norm) Carli, both of River Grove, and Sheryl (Mark) Robinson and Pam (Dan) LaPorta, both of Bolingbrook, Kimberly (Rich) Rot of Naperville and Edward Kusta Jr. of Chicago; great-grandmother of David Jr., Amy, Robert, Kevin, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Stephanie, Mikayla, Morgan, Kaley, Richard Jr., Krissa, Matthew, Nicholas and MacKenzie; and sister of Albert (Mavis) Boerman of Charleston, S.C., and Betty (the late William) McGowen of Sun City, Ariz.
Visitation and funeral services were held May 30, 2002 in Wheaton Bible Church.
Interment was in Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside.

William Mullane
William Mullane, 84, formerly of River Grove, died July 17, 2002 in West Florida Hospital, Pensacola, Fla.
Mr. Mullane was born March 29, 1918, to Mary and William Mullane. He was a “West Side Irishman” who loved to sing and always had a warm smile on his face.
After graduating from St. Phillips High School, Chicago, he began a lengthy career with Metropolitan Life Insurance that was interrupted by service in the “Seabees” of the Navy during World War II.
He returned from the war and married Mary O'Leary, on Feb. 8, 1947, in St. Mel’s Church, Chicago. The couple had five children and shared life together in River Grove where Mr. Mullane was active in the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Families Ministry. He enjoyed his final years in Pensacola, under the care of the staff members at Carpenters Creek Community and Encore Senior Village near his daughters, Patti and Colleen (Bobby) vanDeusen and grandsons, Jack and Barron.
Other surviving family members are his son, Kevin, and daughter-in-law, Bernadette of San Francisco and their children, Keelan and Giovanni; and son, Billy, and his fiancee, Annabeth, and her children, Ricky, Joey and Bethany of Boise, Idaho; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Mr. Mullane was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, who died shortly before their 50th wedding anniversary; daughter, Maureen; brother, Martin, and sister, Margaret.
Visitation was held July 22 in Lewis Funeral Home, Elmwood Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 23, 2002 in St. Cyprian Church, River Grove.
Interment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.

Robert P. Chody
Robert P. Chody, 69, a former River Grove resident and businessman and longtime Marco Island, Fla., resident, died Dec. 6, 2005.
Mr. Chody was born Jan. 11, 1935, in Chicago. He owned a real estate development company first in River Grove, then Lake Geneva, Wis.
His civic activities were numerous and included Rotary, Marco Island government and the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Mr. Chody was husband of Carol, née Green; father of Michael and Susan Dockery; grandfather of Samantha and Quinn. A friend to many, he will be missed.
Visitation was held Dec. 11 in Fuller Funeral Home, Naples, Fla.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Dec. 12, 2005 in San Marco Church.

Betty M. Kush
Betty M. Kush, 86, of River Grove, died Dec. 2, 2005.
Mrs. Kush was retired after many years of service with the River Grove Post Office (1959-82).
She was wife of Raymond L.; mother and friend of Raymond D. and Thomas L. (Vicki); sister of Charlotte Streu; and aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt of many.
Visitation and funeral services were held Dec. 6, 2005 in Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home and Crematorium, Franklin Park.
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.

Donald V. O'Neal
Donald V. O'Neal, 70, of River Grove, died Dec. 3, 2005.
Mr. O'Neal was a veteran of the U.S. armed forces.
Mr. O'Neal was the husband of Judith, nee Anderson; father of Michael (Marcela) and Paul (Angela); grandfather of Matthew, Cody and Eric; brother of Gloria (Jim) Cerwin and Barbara (Buck) Schrader; and uncle of many.
Visitation was held Dec. 7, 2005 in Cuneo-Columbian Funeral Home, Franklin Park.

John P. Fox Jr.
John P. Fox Jr., 83, of Wilmette, died Jan. 5, 2002 at the Presbyterian Homesin Evanston.
Mr. Fox was born in Chicago Dec. 14, 1918, to the late John P. Sr. and Irene (nee Boyle) Fox, and formerly lived in Chicago and Evanston.
Mr. Fox graduated from Loyola University, Chicago with a bachelor of arts degree in 1941.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II, primarily in the Pacific theater, and was discharged as a lieutenant.
Mr. Fox was admitted to the Illinois Bar in January 1948 and joined Beatrice Foods Co.’s law department in April of that year.
He received his law degree from Loyola University Law School in 1949.
He was named general attorney and chief law officer of Beatrice in October 1965 and general counsel in September 1969.
On Dec. 2, 1975, Mr. Fox was elected senior vice president by the board of directors of Beatrice Foods.
He was a member of the American and Chicago bar associations and served on the anti-trust committees of both societies.
After World War II, Mr. Fox helped reorganize the social fraternity Alpha Delta Gamma and became its national president. Mr. Fox was recognized by Loyola University for his faithful support.
He was a former president of the Evanston Golf Club in Skokie.
Mr. Fox was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alice Fox.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred F. Cummings of Wilmette; a niece and three nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 8 at Sts. Faith Hope & Charity Church, 191 Linden St., Winnetka, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
Memorial contributions may be made to Loyola University, 6525 N. Sheridan Road, 209-C, Chicago IL 60626.

Pauline M. Kwo
Pauline M. Kwo, 68, a resident of Chicago for 12 years, died Jan. 5, 2002 in Indianapolis. She was born May 24, 1933, and previously lived in London.
She was a parish secretary at St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Paul (Mimi) and David (Nancy) Kwo of Wilmette; three grandchildren; and a sister.
Funeral services were held at the Donnellan Family Funeral Home in Skokie, with burial in the family lot at St. Athanasius Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Hospice Center, 8450 N. Payne Road, Suite 100, Indianapolis IN 46268.
