Loving mother of Donald (Marilyn) Kuna, Donna M. (Len) Adelmann and Alexandra (Susan) Kuna; dearest grandmother of Daniel (Luanne, David (Christine) and Daryl (Lani) Kuna and Deanne (Erik) Moore, Mark, Kevin (Kathy) Adelmann, Dawn (James) Wrobel, Curt (Sharon), Bruce and Leonard Adelmann, James (Melissa) McAfee, Ted Aames and Mr. and Mrs. George McAfee; 21 great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter; and six step great grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her husband, Boniface Kuna (1981), a great grandchild; her parents, Martin and Susan (nee Biros) Mudroch; two brothers, John (Ann) and Martin (Jane) Mudroch; and a sister, Ann (Al, deceased) King.

Age 82, of Madison, WI. died Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Care Center in Madison, WI. born May 31, 1921 in Joliet, IL, the son of the late Robert and Winifred (nee McNiff) Lambert.
He is survived by his six children: JoAnn (Marion) Sornat of Lockport, IL, Patricia (John) Child of Plainfield, IL, Linda (James Abderholden) Lambert of Verona, WI, Patrick (Diane) Lambert of Marseilles, IL, William (Phyllis) Lambert of Belmont, NC and Mark Lambert of Aurora, IL. His 15 grandchildren: Elisa (Jason) Zeigler, Michael Sornat, Timothy and Brianne Child, Blaise and Tyler Abderholden, Stacy (Brian) Rice, Jayme (Edward) Miller, Alana, Jeff, Tiffany, Jacob, Chrissy, Kayley and Kyley Lambert. His five great-grandchildren: Alexis, Cassidy, Brady and Pierson Rice and Nolan Miller. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary (nee DeAcetis), his five sisters: Bernadette Sullivan, Verna Yahnke, Lucille Wagner, Margaret DeLord and Patsy Ross and his two brothers Robert and Jack Lambert.
Bill was born in Joliet, IL and lived in Plainfield, IL from 1974 to 1981. Owned and operated the Gambles Hardware Store in Plainfield. Was a longtime employee of Lockport Manufacturing and Joliet Tower & Tank. Graduate of Sacred Heart Grade School and Joliet Central High School, Class of 1939. Mr. Lambert also attended Joliet Junior College and the University of Kentucky. Former longtime member of St. Patrick's Church and St. Paul the Apostle Church in Joliet. Served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II and retired from Boeing Petroleum Services in 1991.

Leonard "Lenny" Mueller
Age 20, died suddenly Thursday, January 1, 2004 from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born on September 5, 1983 in Naperville, IL.
Survived by his mother: Rhonda (Dave) Dykeman of Plainfield, IL; his father Steve Mueller of Naperville, IL. His brother Kenneth Mueller of Plainfield, IL, his sister: Suzanne (Jeffrey) Pacholski of Lockport, IL. His maternal grandmother Clara (the late Kenneth) Shaver of Plainfield, IL and his paternal grandparents: LaVerne "Bud" and Nancy Mueller of Naperville, IL. His nieces Taylor and Chelsea Pacholski and Jaden Mueller, his nephew Daniel Pacholski. And numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Lenny enjoyed playing sports, listening to music and playing his guitar.

Bruce A. Naehring
Age 58, passed away after a brief illness with cancer. Bruce worked at Naperville Chauffeuring as a limo driver for the past 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene (nee Kursa) Naehring.
He is survived by his beloved companion of 15 years, Mary (nee Schofield) Szegedi; his step family, Dr. Sandra "Sue" Szegedi, Tina Szegedi and family; his devoted sister, Karen Smith; and his son, Michael Naehring.

Charlena Walker
Born April 11, 1930 in Itta Bena, MS to the late Charles and Alice Griggs. She went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2003 at Edward Hospital, Naperville.
Charlena attended LeFlore County High School in Itta Bena, MS. She was employed at Richman Brothers Clothing Store as a seamstress where she retired.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cephus Walker (1985), her parents, one sister Maggie (Clarence) Barrett, one brother Charles Griggs Jr., two sons, Gazzaro Walker and Rocko Walker.
Charlena leaves to cherish her memories; two sons, Darwin (Karen) Walker of Joliet, IL and Brodrin Walker of Elmhurst, IL; one sister, Pearl L. Griggs of San Francisco, CA and two daughters-in-law, Eva Walker, Long Beach, CA and Vanessa Walker of South Holland, IL and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and special friends.

Sister M. Canisia Binka, OSF
Of the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, died at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet, Illinois, on December 31, 2003 at the age of 99, with 79 years in religious life. Sr. Canisia entered the Order from St. John the Baptist Parish, Joliet, IL. Nieces and nephews survive Sister Canisia.
Sister Canisia ministered in Alabama, Illinois and Ohio as a primary and middle-grade teacher. Since 1978, she tutored many students at St. Francis Convent and also serving as an aide for several years in the Joliet Headstart Program at St. John the Baptist School, Joliet. In 1997, after 73 years of active ministry, Sr. Canisia retired to Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home in Joliet.
The wake will be at Our Lady of Angels Retirement Home, 1201 Wyoming Avenue, Joliet, IL (Wyoming and Rt. 30) on Monday, January 5, from 2:00-6:45 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m. and Mass of Christian Burial at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Angels to St. John Cemetery, Joliet, IL.

Eddie L. Carver
Age 65 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. born January 8, 1938 in Blount County, TN, he was a son of the late John and Cora Bryant-Carver.
Eddie was retired from Caterpillar International after 30 years of service as a machinist engineer, member of the South Wilmington Sportsman Club, former Bobcat Football coach and worked the "Chain Gang" at Wilmington High School football games. He greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his loving wife Mary (Starner), one son John and two daughters: Sharon (Donald) Smith and Tiffany Carver, all of Wilmington. Two brothers: Jim (Sandra) and Lonnie Carver of Tennessee, one sister Jonnie (Andrew) Morton of Wilmington, his mother and father-in-law Everett and Mildred Starner of Nortonville, and brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eddie is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and Paul.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Funeral services will then follow on Tuesday, January 6 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Zbinden officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
