Age 53. Passed away suddenly Wednesday, January 24, 2001. Lifelong resident of Joliet.
Preceded in death by his father Dr. Clarence Larkin Sr. Survived by his loving children, Lynda S. Larkin and Scott M. Larkin, his mother Elizabeth Larkin. Beloved grandfather "Poppie" of Dillon and Nicholas Larkin. A brother, Dr. Jay (Carolyn) Larkin, a sister Maureen, (Gene) Ciancanelli. A former wife and friend, Sue (Ed) Levandowski.
Pat was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the 101 Airborne, receiving a Bronze Star. Lifetime member of Cantigny Post #367 V.F.W.
A memorial service will be held Friday January 26, 2001 at 7 PM at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home 1500 Black Rd. Family will receive relatives and friends from 4 until time of service at 7 PM. Private burial will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

Age 65, Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her parents Leo & Jennie Randolph; sister Wilma "Doll" Parks; brother Robert Randolph and father-in-law Stanley Lesch.
Survived by her loving husband Stanley E. Lesch; sister Reba Threet and brother Oliver "Pat" Randolph; mother-in-law Anna B. Lesch; Brothers-in-law Charles (JoRita), Larry (Diane) and Thomas (Mary) Lesch. Several close nieces and nephews also survive.
Born in Carrier Mills, IL moving to Joliet at the age of 15. According to Mary Lou's wishes her remains will be cremated and there will be no services. A special thank you to everyone at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center for your kindness and help. Memorials to the American Lung Assoc. would be appreciated.

Passed January 23, 2001 at Silver Cross Hospital. born June 23, 1928 in Grenada MS to Willie B.C. & Luellar W. Bew.
Attended school in Grenada, MS., received her Cosmetology State License from Ella Mae Banks Beauty School in Joliet, IL. Employed before retirement at Western Electric, the Joliet Arsenal and as a Cosmetologist in Joliet, IL. Louise was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband Oscar Lewis Sr., one son Robert Earl Wright and his father Ulysses Wright, her father Willie B.C. Bew, paternal and maternal grandparents and special nephew, Darnell Reed.
Survived by three sons, Willie U. (Cheryl) Wright, of Naperville, IL. Oscar (Cassandra) Lewis Jr. of Joliet, IL. Kenneth (Kathy) Lewis of Atlanta, GA, three daughters, LaPearl Lewis of Atlanta, GA, Vanessa (James) McCallum of Decatur, GA, Shalita (Kevin) Ivey of Temple Hills, MD, mother Luellar W. Bew of Joliet, IL, brothers; Ivory C. (Ernestine) Bew of Petal MS, James R. and George C. Bew of Joliet, IL, sisters Armelda Scott of Gary, IN, Ora L. (Coy) McElrath, Mamie R. (Telfair) Reed, Luellar McNear, Lorine (Sam) Mitchell and Dorothy J. (Cornelius) Gray all of Joliet, IL. Born in Joliet. Retired from Gaylords Department Store; and previously employed at American Can Company.
Survived by her brother, Arthur H. (Joan) Krieger; sister, Betty H. (late Thomas) Metrick; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth J. Metrick, Linda Fietterer, Barbara Dyer, William Krieger of Laguna Niguel, CA, Susan Vowels, Karen Gerard and Robert Krieger, all of the Joliet area.
Preceded in death by her husband, George L. Lobas (1974); infant son, Ronald (1959); parents, Otto and Mary Krieger; sister, Lois (1943); and brother, William in infancy.

Passed Saturday, January 20, 2001 at the Silver Cross Hospital. born November 20, 1913 to Mr. and Mrs. James Hill, , Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband Buddie Morris; one sister, Mary Lurry Sneed Hill; and four brothers Maymon Lewis, George Hill, James Hill Jr., and Wade Hill, Sr. She will be missed by a sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends, especially Bobby and Vidales and sons, with whom she was close friends.
Services will be held Friday, January 26, 2001 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery following services.

Survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Elizabeth M. (nee) Avsec Picco; loving father of Elizabeth Jean, Perry Jr. (Okie), Louis (Melinda), Michael (Rima), Robert (Magda), Ronald Picco and special friend Gloria Salinas. Dearest grandfather of Tim, Allison, Brittany, Tony, Ginella, Matthew Picco. Three sisters, Louise (Alex) Bucciarelli, Mary McCalla, Jen Dubrovich; three sisters-in-law, Anne (Peter Dec.) Picco, Geri (Jim) Thayer, Jean (Jim) Davis. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Linda Marie and granddaughter Mary Kathleen; parents, Peter and Delfina (Nee) Geneseo Sr.; brothers, Stephen, Joseph, John, Peter and Charles Picco.
Perry was born in Granville, IL, resided in Joliet most of his lifetime. Retired from APSA Rock Island and Joliet Army Ammunition Plant in 1981 and from Honeywell in 1989. Was a Sgt. US Army Veteran of WWII campaigns in Northern France, Battle of the Bulge and the Rhineland. Recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, member of the VFW Orland Park and St. Joseph Holy Name Society.
The family deeply appreciates the care and concern shown by our wonderful neighbors, Betty and Bob Pluth, Irene and Lou Frantini, Al and Theresa Evans, John Udell and Mike and Jeannine Balmer.

Age 79, Wednesday, January 23, 2001 in his home after a lengthy illness. Late of Lockport.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Millicent (Gattens) Pollak; two sons, Michael John Pollak, Jay (Cheryl) Pollak; one daughter, Mrs. Carla (Michael) Yankala; five grandchildren, Karen (Wade) Rinkenberger, Kristin Hill, Robyn (Jon) Gislain, Alicia Pollak; five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Harriett Roberts, Lois (Gordon) Defore.
Born in Kangley, IL living in Lockport area most of his life.
Mr. Pollak was a carpenter for Local 174 since 1938.
Preceded in death by his parents Theodore & Gladys (Reeder) Pollak and one sister Grace Mallonee.
Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials to the American Lung or Heart Association would be appreciated.

Preceded in death by husband, Edward; six brothers, Bruno, Edward, John, Alex, Casimir and Joseph; and a sister, Nellie Krivickas.
