Age 68, of Joliet, IL. Formerly of Los Angeles, CA. died Saturday, January 27, 2001. Served in the U.S. Army, Veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his father Casey Beason, mother Gertrude Gavin, brother Roosevelt McCullum, sister Doris Holt.
Calvin will be missed by his brother Luther Beason, sister-in-law Marie Rogers (McCullum), of Joliet, IL, and nephews Roosevelt McCullum, Jr., of Joliet, IL, Frankie (Ruby) McCullum of Newton, MS, Stanley McCullum of Lancaster, CA and Pastors Victor (Glenda) McCullum of Joliet, IL. Nieces Delphia Snoddy of Morrow, GA, Vivian (Victor) Calimee of Joliet, IL, Rose Cooper of Calumet City, IL.
Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the Minor-Morris Funeral Home. Interment following services at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery-Elwood, IL.

Age 88, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2001 at home with her family by her side.
Born September 16, 1912 in Joliet and lifelong resident. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother. She was a beautician for 70 years and had many customers who were friends. She was a longtime member of the Church of St. Anthony.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Clavenna (1984); her parents, Sam and Maggie Fazio; and her sister, Frances Ferguson.
She is survived by her sons, Robert A. (Janet) of Channahon and LeRoy R. (Joyce) Clavenna of Baton Rouge, LA; and her daughter, JoAnne M. (James) Vidmar of Joliet; her grandchildren, Robert, Christopher, Michael, Andrew and Matthew Clavenna and James and Jonathan Vidmar; her great-grandchildren, Nicholas Vidmar and Trevor Clavenna; her brother, Natale (Mary) Fazio; and her sister-in-law, Minnie DeBernardi.
Funeral services will be held from the Grant-Tapella-Freitag Westwood Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2001 at 9:45 AM to St. Joseph's Church for a funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.

Helen M. Hosterman (formerly Scott) age 79, of Plainfield, IL. died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at her home. She was born February 12, 1921 in Joliet, IL.
She is survived by her four children, John F. (Dianne) Scott of Montgomery, IL, Donald (Joan) Scott of Oswego, IL, Kenneth (Marcy) Scott of Tomah, WI and Randolph (Roberta) Scott of Plainfield, IL.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four step children, Grace (Randy) Madding of AZ, Mary Jane (Richard) Weller of Anna, IL, Nancy (Richard) Goss of TX and Sherry (Dave) Rhind of TX; seven step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita (John) Bentson of Joliet, IL and Frieda Johnson of Aurora, IL; her sister-in-law Lucille Smith of CO; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Kenneth B. Scott; her second husband Somner Lee Hosterman; three brothers; a sister and a granddaughter Adrianne.
Helen was a member of St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Plainfield, the Council of Catholic Women and did volunteer work at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 129 S. Division St., Plainfield, with interment in the St. Mary Immaculate Cemetery. Visitation Friday, February 2, from 4:00-8:00PM at:

Age 50. Suddenly Tuesday, January 30, 2001 at his late residence. born in Cleveland, Ohio and a resident of Joliet most of his life. A purchasing agent for 25 years at Rovanco Corp.
Survived by his loving wife Brenda (nee Foote) Hotz of Joliet. Four children Lawrence J. (Theresa) Hotz of Joliet, Timothy W. Hotz of Texas, Robert Hotz of Joliet and Kala C. Hotz of Joliet. A former Wilmington resident and a Joliet area resident for the past eight years. A U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran serving on the U.S.S. Hornet, also deployed as the recovery team for Apollo 11 & 12. A Will County Deputy Coroner with over 12 years of professional service. Also employed as a Lieutenant with the Silver Cross Hospital Security Department. A member of the Cantigny Post V.F.W #367 and the American Legion Post #2910.

Age 73, late of Plainfield, died Wednesday, January 31, 2001 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. born in Joliet, life long area resident. Employed by Iron Workers Union #444 for several years, retiring in 1990. Was a W.W. II and Korean War Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by his wife Theresa (Preboy), his parents, Martin and Gertrude (Klingloff) Seeley, two brothers William and John, one sister Genevieve Hamilton.
Survived by his children James Jr. (Susan) of Joliet, Diane Wold of Plainfield, Robert (Kathy) of Lockport, Kathleen (David) Reyment of Wilmington, and Paula (Frank) Ketz of Joliet, 10 grandchildren, four brothers, Russel (Rose) of Lockport, Martin (Mary), Raymond (Joan) both of New Lenox, and Pat (Esther) of CO, two sisters Ann Schauland and Frances Davis, both of Lockport.
