Jane A. Ginter
Age 61, of Elwood, IL passed away suddenly Friday, February 21, 2003 at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, IL. born July 3, 1941 to the late Frederick and Doris Nickel in Joliet, Illinois.
She is survived by her husband, Robert, whom she married in 1959 at The Elwood Presbyterian Church; seven children, Donna (John) Hendrickson of Thomasboro, IL, Bobby Jr. (Eileen) and Michael (Martha) Ginter of Elwood, IL, David and John Ginter of Joliet, IL and Lori (Dave) Greenback and Keri (Chuck) Simpson of Elwood, IL; two sisters and a brother, Hallie (Tom) Price of Joliet, IL, Jerri (Wes) Greenwood of Wilmington, IL and Mike (Pam) Nickel of Channahon, IL. Also seven grandchildren, Chrissy, Amber, Jeff, Joshua, Nicole, Wyatt and Sarah.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, John Mathews; two sisters, Penny and Jackie; and a brother, Donald Nickel.
Per Jane's wishes, Cremation Rites will be accorded, and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 1 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington with Rev. David Lagos-Fonseca and Rev. Shirley Pulgar-Hughes officiating. A private interment of Cremains will then follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Manhattan Fire Department appreciated.

Ellen Bernice Glomp (nee Maynes)
Age 77 of Georgetown, TX, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2003. She was born in Joliet, IL on February 13, 1926 to parents Frank and Bernice Maynes. Ellen worked as a librarian and bookkeeper. She married Arthur Glomp in 1945. Upon retirement in 1983, they moved to central Texas and later moved to Sun City, TX where she enjoyed many activities. Ellen was also active in Faith Lutheran Church of Georgetown, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bernice Maynes.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur Glomp of Georgetown, TX and daughter, Jane Mahlow of Bartlett, TX.
The family will receive guests for visitation frm 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2003 at Cook-Walden/Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. Graveside services in her home state of Illinois to follow at a later date and time at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL.

James M. Hutto, Sr.
Age 81, died Wednesday, February 19 in Hardy, AR. born February 20, 1921 to James and Besse Hutto in Fitzgerald, GA. He was married to Lila Mae Williams in January of 1946. She died January 20, 1988.
He was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Shirley, in 2002. Surviving are two sisters, four children: Sylvia Aldridge of Iowa, Cynthia Guinto of Joliet, James of Woodridge and Donald of Romeoville; ten grandchildren and 18 great- grandchildren.
He was retired from the United States Navy and Argonne Laboratories.
A memorial service will be at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel in Romeoville on Monday, March 3 at 1 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

Alan L. Shepherd
Age 79, Monday, February 24, 2003 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Late of Lockport, IL.
Survived by five children, Daniel (Bernie), John, Charles (Pamela), William (Linda) and Susan Schmidt; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four brothers, Darrell (Mary), Leon (Lois), Delbert (Gladys) and Art (Ardith) Shepherd. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his wife, Verna (Daley); parents, Robert and Mabel (Stafford) Shepherd; brother, Robert Shepherd Jr.
Retired from Operating Engineers Local 150 and farmed for many years.
Family will receive friends at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St. Thursday, 4 to 8 PM.
Services will be Friday, February 28, 2003 at 10 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.

Helen Elizabeth Warsaw (nee Bloch)
Age 70. Passed away Friday, February 21, 2003 in Oregon. born in Joliet on April 23, 1932 and a lifetime resident. Graduated from Providence High School. Retired from Amerifed/NBT Bank in Crest Hill. She moved to Gresham, OR in 1996.
Loving mother to Ray (Patty) Warsaw of Plainfield, Mary (Mike) Darger of Gresham, OR, Bob (Donise) Warsaw of Bend, OR, Nick (Cindy) Warsaw of Joliet and Rich (Edie) Warsaw of Plainfield; loving grandmother to Shelley Warsaw of Denver, CO, Ryan Warsaw of Chicago, Dan and Jason Johnson of Gresham, OR; Sarah and Michael Warsaw of Bend, OR; Zakkary Warsaw of Plainfield; Roger Clark of Joliet and Todd Shoemake of Plainfield; one brother, Jim (Donna) Bloch; sister, Jean (nee Bloch) Gunderson; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bloch; special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Josephine Bloch; brothers, Al and Don (Matilda) Bloch; brother-in-law, Darwin Gunderson.
Helen practiced her Catholic faith sharing her love for family and friends from Illinois to Oregon. Helen's favorite description for others was "they're so nice." She found God in everyone.
Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Warsaw will be Saturday, March 1, 2003 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to St. John Catholic Church for a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment St. John Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory to the Grotto Catholic Sanctuary, Sandy Boulevard, NE 85th, Portland, OR 97202 would be appreciated.

Harry H. Zander, Jr.
Age 48, a three year resident of Plainfield, IL and a former resident of Roselle, NJ, died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born February 13, 1955 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He was a 1973 graduate of Colonia High School. Mr. Zander was employed for many years by Karnak Corp., of Broadview, IL and Clark, NJ. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Bass & Gill Club, Plainfield, IL.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Norma J. (nee Neigel) Zander of Plainfield, IL, whom he married October 13, 1984. Three children, Harry H., Jamie and Jeffrey Zander of Plainfield, IL, his parents, Harry, Sr. and Mildred Zander of Maine and a sister, Dorreen (Allen) Pretz of New Jersey.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, 3-7 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 309 S. Joliet, Rd., Plainfield, IL. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Zander Children's Education Fund, c/o NLSB, 601 N. Division St., Plainfield, IL 60544. Abraham Turner Pemberton Flagg Jr.
Age 72, born November 2, 1930 in Detroit, MI. Departed this life on Saturday, February 22, 2003 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Retired from Stateville Correctional Center as Counselor.
He leaves to cherish his memories: fiance Marilyn Jones, his son, Abraham Flagg, sister, Mary Pemberton of Detroit, MI and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2003 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the funeral home and service immediately following, Rev. Bennie Yarbough, officiating. Interment Monday, March 3, 2003 12 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.

Andrew J. Honiotes Sr.
Age 85. Wednesday, February 26, 2003 at Loyola University Medical Center. born in Joliet and a lifelong resident. Retired co-owner of Honiotes Brothers Food Mart. A United States World War II Army Air Corps Veteran, honorably discharged at the rank of Tech Sergeant. Member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Mykonos Society; Cantigny Post VFW #367 and the Joliet Noon Lions Club, past District Governor 1974-75 Melvin Jones Fellow. Unico Citizen of the Year (1975), Joliet Fire and Police Commission 1974-76; American Trap Shooting Association. Inductee of the ATA Hall of Fame. At age 13, Andy was Will County "MIBS" Champion, 1931; having the opportunity to see Babe Ruth play the Chicago White Sox where Mr. Ruth autographed a baseball as his prize.
Survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ann (nee Kochalka) Honiotes of Joliet; three sons, John Joseph (Bobbi) Honiotes of Joliet, Andy Honiotes of Wilmington and Bill Honiotes of St. Charles, IL; four grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Hagerstrom; Melissa, Amanda and Andy Honiotes; three great-granddaughters, Allison, Sarah and Isabella Hagerstrom; one sister, Ann Calamaras of Montgomery, IL; three brothers, Nick (Liz), Jim (Jen) and Bill (Sophie) Honiotes all of Joliet; brother-in-law of Helen Connelly, Mary Honiotes and Pat Honiotes. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Eleni (nee Griparis) Honiotes; one son, Joseph Gerard in infancy; three brothers, John Z., Pete and George Honiotes.
Funeral services for Andrew J. Honiotes Sr. will be Monday, March 3, 2003 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home chapel to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church for services at 9:30 a.m. Fr. Stephen Bithos officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Endowment Fund or Joliet Noon Lions Club would be appreciated.
