Survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Loucks; his loving children, James (Beth) Loucks of New Lenox, Jerry W. (Shannon) Loucks of Elwood, Richard (Pamela) Loucks of New Lenox, Robert (Donna) Loucks of New Lenox, and Joanne "Jody" (Raul) Casillas of New Lenox. Grandfather of seven. Also survived by his brother-in-law Michael (the late Eloise) Roberts of Minooka.

He was founder of Loucks Excavating Inc. of New Lenox. Veteran of W.W. II, member of the Harry Anderson VFW Post #9545 and the Thomas Hartung American Legion Post 1977.

Age 84 years, passed away at Meadowbrook Manor Rehabilitation Center, Monday, February 5, 2001.
Survived by her sons, R. Francis (Marilyn) Narbone of New Lenox, IL., and James (Karen) Narbone of Chicago Ridge, IL., eight grandchildren, Catherine, Christopher, Raymond Jr., Cara, Jacqueline, James, Gina and Carrie. Two brothers, Lorenzo (Frances-deceased) Filetti and Anthony Filetti. A sister, Frances (James) Bowman all of Joliet. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Anna and Frank Filetti, her daughter Roseanne in infancy, a grandson Michael Narbone, two brothers, Alex and Sam Filetti, two sisters, Virginia Filetti and Catherine Hennings.
Member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, retired from Eco Lab in 1978. Phyllis was a devoted grandmother.
Funeral services will be held from the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday at 9:30 a.m. to St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-8 p.m.

Survived by his loving parents, Javier C. and Rosa E. (nee Hurtado) Ortiz and loving sister, Diana Ortiz; dear grandparents, Anastasio and Maria Hurtado and Susana (Javier, deceased) Ortiz. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Age 57. Of Coal City, IL died Saturday, February 3, 2001 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Payton was born on November 14, 1943 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Doty and Tharah (Swallow) Smith. She was a teacher for 26 years beginning in Peotone, IL and then moving to Coal City Elementary School, retiring in 1995. Mrs. Payton was a past president and member of the group TOPS for 34 years. She was also a member of The United Methodist Church in Coal City.
Surviving her are her husband of 37 years Jim Payton; two sons, Mike and Larry Payton; one daughter, Andrea (Dave) McCollough; four grandchildren Christopher, Taylor, and Maggie McCollough, and Laney Payton; one brother Merle (Doris) Smith of Newark, CA; her parents Doty and Tharah Smith of Fort Supply, OK and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday February 8, 2001 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Ferrari Funeral Services, 1044 Ferrari Drive, Coal City, IL and at the United Methodist Church in Coal City at 9:00 a.m. Friday until time of funeral services at 10 a.m., with Pastor Carol Edman officiating. Interment will be in Braceville Gardner Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her name to The United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Age 92 years, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at Sunny Hill Skilled Rehab Center.
Born in Joliet on April 12, 1908, she was a life-long resident. Member of St. Frances Society of KSKJ, Sacred Heart Church and she was a volunteer for Sunny Hill Nursing Home for many years.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Piskur (1992); her son, Joseph E. Piskur (2000); her parents, Joseph and mary (nee Udovich) Fabian; one sister, Mary Russ and two brothers, Joseph and Anton Fabian.
Survived by two sons: Thomas and Lawrence Piskur; two daughters, Judith Pomatto and Mary Ellen Head. A daughter-in-law, Joan Piskur; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One brother, Louis (Doris) Fabian and one sister-in-law, Eva Fabian. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral from the Grant-Tapella-Freitag Westwood Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 9, 2001 at 9:15 a.m. to Sacred Heart Church for a Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Age 93. Late of Manhattan, died Tuesday, February 6, 2001, at St. Joseph Provena Medical Center, Joliet.
Survived by three daughters, Maxine Trowbridge of Augusta, GA, Shirley (Harry) Bishop of Fisher, IL, and Sandra (Richard) Mackholz of Manhattan. Two sons, Jimmy (Mary Ellen) Pritts of Dwight, IL, and Gerald Pritts of Aurora, IL. One sister, Hilda Mott of Colfax, IL. Thirteen grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Emma (Reedy) Pritts. His wife for 72 years Esther (Hansen) Pritts. Three great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.
Lawrence worked for the Wabash and Norfolk & Western Railroads for over 40 years.

Born December 21, 1939 in Urbana, IL., he was raised in Philo, IL., and graduated from Tolono Unity High School. A United States Army Veteran. Former owner/operator of Top of the Morning Bakery in Plainfield, he was currently a baker at Sams Club, Joliet. Member of Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Member of Centennial Lodge #747 AF&AM, Savoy, IL., and the American Legion Harwood Post #5, Joliet.
Beloved husband of 26 years to Sharon J. Reed of Joliet. Loving father of Jack (Adriana) Reed of Joliet, Karla (Alan) Chrossfield of Joliet and Brian (Kristi) Reed of Lockport. Proud grandfather of Stephanie "Steffi" Reed. Also survived by one brother, Dennis (Joyce) Reed of Champaign, IL; and numerous other relatives.
