Clyde E. Blakey, 84, of 512 N. Main, died 12:20 a.m. Friday, May 23, 2003, at Toulon Health Care Center, Toulon.
He was born February 9, 1919, in Toulon Township, Stark County, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Della Thurston Blakey. He married Phyllis Brown on December 1, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa. She survives.
Also surviving are 1 son, Ernest (Joyce) Blakey of Wyoming., Illinois; 2 daughters, Shirley (Bernard) King of Wyoming., I, and Donna (Kerry) Jaggers of Wyanet, Illinois; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Thomas Blakey of Wyoming., Illinois. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
He farmed in the Wyoming. area for 60 years. He also worked as a truck driver and coal miner. He was a life-member of the National Rifle Association,
Wyoming. Masonic Lodge #479, AF&AM, life member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Valley of Peoria, and life member of Mohammed Temple Shrine, Peoria, and Order of the Eastern Star, Wyoming.. He also was a Toulon Township Trustee for 38 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching the Chicago Cubs play baseball.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Wyoming. Funeral Home, Wyoming.. Rev. Joe Ballard officiated. Visitation was from 6 til 8 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2003, at Wyoming. Funeral Home, with Masonic Services at 8 p.m. Burial was in Wyoming. Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wyoming. Ambulance Service, Wyoming. Masonic Lodge, or Wyoming. Eastern Star.

Danielle Jordan Walker, infant daughter of Tony and Tanya (Kopp) Walker of Bradford, died at 2:26 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2003 at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, at Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Bradford, Rev. Lee Legg officiated. Visitation was from 6 – 8:30 p.m. November 17 and from and from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Tuesday. Burial was in Mound Cemetery, rural Bradford. Memorials may be made to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Division of Hematology and Oncology Research for HLH, 333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229.
She was born June 22, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Surviving are her parents, three siblings, Samantha, David and Christopher Walker; grandparents David and Beverly Walker and Ronald and Lorna Dalrymple; and great-grandmother Lola Kopp, all of Bradford; and great-grandmother Clarabelle Dalrymple of Chillicothe.

Kenneth D. Janssen, 75, a resident of Toulon Health Care Center, Toulon, died at 8:41 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2003, at Kewanee Hospital, Kewanee.
Born April 12, 1928, in Chillicothe, Illinois, the son of John and Caroline Melz Janssen.
Surviving are two brothers, Harley Janssen of Speedway, Indiana, and Bernie Janssen of Yaak, Montana. His parents, four sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
He worked construction in the Peoria area for many years.
Graveside services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria. Rev. Dr. Ted Snider officiated. There was no visitation.
Wyoming. Funeral Home, Wyoming., is in charge of arrangements.

James Alfred Kruskop, 60, of Kewanee, Illinois died at 12:22 a.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2003 at his residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2003 at Rux Funeral Home in Kewanee. Rev. Gene Guy officiated. Visitation was from 6 8 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2003 at the funeral home. Burial was in Snareville Cemetery in rural Wyoming., Illinois. Memorial may be directed to Kewanee Hospital Hospice.
Mr. Kruskop was born December 22, 1942 in Wyoming., Illinois, the son of George John and Jennie (Bernard) Kruskop. He married Margaret Ann Griswold on July 17, 1962 in Princeville, Illinois. She survives, as well as three sons, Michael James (Phyllis) Kruskop of Chillicothe, Illinois; Christopher Douglas (Cherie) Kruskop of Normal, Illinois; and Joshua Ben Kruskop of Kewanee; one daughter, Susan Anita Kruskop of Kewanee, Illinois; his mother, Jennie Smith of Wyoming., Illinois; one sister, Shirley Blair of Maryville, Tennessee and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, John.
Mr. Kruskop was raised in Castleton and Wyoming., Illinois. He had been employed as a welder and machine operator for Kewanee Boiler for 37 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kewanee. His hobbies included fishing, mushroom hunting, camping, and playing cards. He enjoyed music, his church, and his family.

B.F. “Kirk” Kirkpatrick, 91, of 1903 A Lakeside Dr, Champaign, Illinois, formerly of Wyoming., Illinois, died at 5:45 p.m. November 12, 2003, at Manor Care Health Service of Urbana, Illinois.
Born July 23, 1912, in McDonough County, Illinois, the son of Frank and Grace Neff Kirkpatrick, he married Mary Owen on June 12, 1963, in Urbana, Illinois. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Alan Kirkpatrick of San Diego, California; and two grandchildren. His parents, five brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Navy Veteran, serving 26 years as a commissioned officer. He was a graduate of Western Illinois University, Macomb, and University of Illinois Law School.
He was Professor of Business Law for 20 years at University of Illinois, Champaign, retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Champaign County Bar Association, Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, First Presbyterian Church in Champaign, and was Past President of the University of Illinois Social Faculty Club. He also was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Champaign.
Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2003, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Wyoming.. Rev. Dr. Ted Snider officiated.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Wyoming. Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.

Conrad V. “Cowboy” Noret, 66, of Parump, Nevada, formerly of Wyoming. and the state of Alaska, died of natural causes at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, November 6, 2003, at his residence in Parump
Born February 20, 1937, in Wyoming., the son of Lewis and Mamie Hager Noret, he married Evelyn Gier-Farrell on November 3, 1979, in Alaska.
She survives, along with two step-sons, Ronald Farrell of Seattle, Washington, and Robert Farrell of Las Vegas, Nevada, one granddaughter, Samantha Farrell, three brothers, Glenn Noret of Amber, Pennsylvannia, Forrest Noret of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Stanley Noret of Phoenix, Arizona, and three sisters, Gleynafa (Arlo) Bernard, Shirley Vilatte, and Beverly Mercer, all of Wyoming., Illinois. His parents, one stepdaughter, and two brothers preceded him in death.
He worked as a contractor in Alaska for many years before retiring.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has been accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming. Ambulance Service, 610 N. Main St., Wyoming., IL 61491. Wyoming. Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Gene M. Newton, 87, a resident of Illinois Veterans Home, Quincy, Illinois, formerly of Wyoming., died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, November 16, 2003, at Blessing Hospital, Quincy.
Born March 18, 1916, in Wyoming., Illinois, the son of Elbert and Anna Morse Newton, he married Pauline Meaker on October 6, 1946, in Wyoming.. She died April 27, 2002, in Peoria.
Surviving are one son, Roger (Karen) Newton of Dunlap, Illinois; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His parents, one daughter, Judith Young, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Army Veteran and was a member of the Wyoming. American Legion Post #91. He also was a member of the Wyoming. Masonic Lodge AF&AM and the Wyoming. United Methodist Church.
He was an area farmer for many years and he also worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 11 years, retiring in 1978.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2003, at Wyoming. Funeral Home, Wyoming.. Rev. Dr. Ted Snider officiated. Visitation was from 6- 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at Wyoming. Funeral Home. Burial was in Wyoming. Cemetery, Wyoming., with military rites conducted by Wyoming. American Legion Post #91.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church, Wyoming. Ambulance Service or Wyoming. American Legion Post #91.

George Taylor, 83, of 525 Blackhawk Blvd, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2003, at the Toulon Health Care Center.
Born February 6, 1920, in Princeville, the son of Forrest S. and Mabel Worsfold Taylor, he married Lolabel Walden on July 22, 1941, in Memphis, Missouri.
She survives, along with 1 son, Forrest Barry (Judy) Taylor of Toulon, two granddaughters, Christine Ann (Bill) Milleker of Riverside, Illinois, and Dr. Carrie Lynn Taylor of Kewanee, and two great-granddaughters, Kate and Anna Milleker of Riverside, Illinois. His parents, and one brother, Wilbur Taylor, preceded him in death.
A WWII US Army veteran, he served in the 282nd Combat Engineers in the European Theater under General George Patton. He was a 30-year employee of Amoco Pipeline Company in Pipeline Maintenance. He was a member of Williamsfield American Legion, Stark County Farm Bureau, Stark County Genealogical Society, and the Williamsfield United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2003, at DeBolt-Kidd Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Wier will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2003, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Toulon Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Toulon American Legion or Toulon United Methodist Church

Jace Z. Morrissey was stillborn at 3:31 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2003, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Surviving are his parents, Justin and Sarah Shane Morrissey of Wyoming., Illinois; one sister, Kylee Johnson of Wyoming., Illinois; maternal grandparents, Larry and Tammy Shane of Toulon, Illinois; paternal grandparent, Hugh Morrissey of Wyoming., Illinois; maternal great-grandparents, Sherm and Marie Shane of Wyoming., Illinois, and Joe and Sharon Ballard of East Peoria, Illinois; maternal great-great-grandmother, Eileen Ballard of Toulon, Illinois; paternal great-grandmother, Madeline Morrissey of Wyoming., Illinois; and paternal great-grandparents, James & Kathleen Bent of Wyoming., Illinois.
Private Graveside services will be at Snareville Cemetery, rural Wyoming..
