LYNNE A. MOORE

Lynne Anne Moore, 56, died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, in Maui, Hawaii.
She was born April 10, 1948, in Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of James King and Ruth Deloris Walker Parker. She married
Dr. David Moore on June 20, 2001, in Ouray, Colo.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. David Moore, of St. George, Utah; two daughters, Sandra (David) Weckerly, of Boulder, Colo., and Sara (Ryan) Anderson, of Santa Clara, Utah; three sons, Sean (Kalei) Barry, of Washington, Utah, Scott (Michelle) Barry of Washington and Shane (Piper) Barry, of Washington; 13 grandchildren; her parents, James K. and Ruth D. Parker of St. George; two sisters, Sandy Fraley and Nancy Alguire; two brothers, James Parker and Jay Parker. She had a very close relationship with and was loved by Dr. Moore's children and grandchildren.
She was born in Keokuk and raised in Nauvoo and Tucson, Ariz. She raised her family in Tucson, as well, until 1979, when they moved to St. George, Utah. She spent her entire life caring for and raising her five children in whom she took great pride. Some of her greatest passions in life were her grandchildren, traveling, raising flowers, enjoying nature and the outdoors, especially the ocean, sand, and seashells. She was very adventurous, as evidenced by her love for hiking, camping, and biking. Those who really knew her would say that she was fearless, grandly stubborn, vivacious, passionate, genuine, and charming. She had the gift of marvelous insight. She was her own woman. Most importantly, her love for others was unconditional.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Pine Valley cemetery, Pine Valley, Utah.

MARY A. WALKER
June 25, 1925 -- Nov. 30, 2004
Mary Anna Walker, 79, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of Carthage, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, in the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born June 25, 1925, in Carthage, a daughter of Lenore B. and Otis Berry Wood. On June 19, 1946, she married
Wilbur L. Walker in Carthage. He died Aug. 30, 1987.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie (Ed) Hoskins of Seattle, Wash., Deborah Walker (Brian Athey) of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Sara McCambridge (Marvin Justice Jr.) of Chillicothe; one son, James E. (Kathy) Walker of San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren, Jason and Julie Walker, Aaron and Matt Smith, Jennifer and Scott McCambridge and Shannon Justice.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Jack and Jim Wood.
She went to Carthage schools and was a graduate of Carthage High School class of 1943. She was a homemaker and an avid bird watcher. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and knitting. She especially loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Lamporte Funeral Home in Carthage after 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, and meet with the family from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, in the Lamporte Funeral, with Rev. William Pyatt officiating. Burial in Moss Ridge cemetery in Carthage.
Memorials in the name of Mary Anna Walker have been established.
LILLIAN STRAIT
July 23, 1920 -- Nov. 11, 2004
Lillian Williams Strait, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, in the Arbor Manor Care Center in Jackson, Mich.
She was born July 23, 1920, in Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of Homer H. and Esther (Betty) Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Delmar N. Strait; one sister, Dorothy Williams Wilson of Elmhurst; two nieces, Carol Wilson and Nancy Wilson; and one nephew, James F. Wilson.
She was a graduate of Carthage High School in 1938 and had attended Colorado College, Carthage College and Gem City Business College. In March of 1943, she enlisted in the WAAC, that later became WAC. Following training in the United States, she served overseas in Australia, New Guinea, Leyte and Luzon, performing secretarial work with the Transportation Corps of the United States Advanced Services of Supplies. Prior to entering the service and following her discharge from the service, she was employed with the State Department in Washington, D.C. Upon retirement, she and husband moved from Washington to Grass Lake, Mich., where they made their home. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson and the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Both she and her husband were avid boosters of Grass Lake High School athletics.
Interment with full military honors was at Oakwood cemetery in Grass Lake.
GARNET L. LUNG
Jan. 3, 1907 -- Nov. 23, 2004
Garnet L. Lung, 97, of Colusa, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, at Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab in Stronghurst.
She was born Jan. 3, 1907, in Wilburn, the daughter of Isaac and Mary Lineback Anderson. On Jan. 10, 1925, she married
Victor G. Lung in Dallas City. He died Aug. 26, 1977.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Lung of Colusa, Richard Lung of Lawrence, Ind., and Fred Lung of Dallas City; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Nov. 27, at Durham cemetery in Durham. Rev. Beckie Laumeier officiated.
A memorial fund has been established for the Hancock County Red Cross.
E. MARIE PLOWMAN
July 15, 1916 -- Nov. 29, 2004
E. Marie Plowman, 88, of Good Samaritan Home in Quincy, formerly of Denver, died Monday, Nov. 29, 2004, in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born July 15, 1916, in West Point, a daughter of David and Caroline Dickwisch Klingler. On Aug. 22, 1936, in West Point, she married
Gerald "Peck" Plowman. He died Dec. 5, 1978.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Esther) Plowman of Hurdland, Mo.; two grandchildren, Tim Plowman and Pam Abrahamson; five great-grandchildren, Erin, Adam and Josh Abrahamson, Raeanne and Gerald Tyler Plowman; one sister-in-law, Fleta Klingler of Golden; and one brother-in-law, Leon Limkemann of Meadeville, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; five sisters, Alvina Walton, Lorena Dooley, Esther Dennis, Velma Holbert and Josephine Limkemann; and one brother, Arlett Klingler.
She went to school at West Point High School. She was a member of the West Point Methodist Church and attended the Denver Christian Church in Denver. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and loved to crochet and quilt, and was a wonderful seamstress. Most of her life revolved around her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends may call the Lamporte Funeral Home in Carthage after 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, and meet with the family from 5 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Denver Christian Church in Denver, with Pastor Joe Little and Rev. Steven Disseler officiating. Burial will be in the Harmony Township cemetery near Bentley.
Memorials in the name of Marie Plowman have been established for Denver Christian Church.
BRUNO KAZUKAUSKAS
Feb. 4, 1931 -- Nov. 23, 2004
Bruno Kazukauskas, 73, a longtime resident of Hamilton, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2004, in the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.
He was born Feb. 4, 1931, in Chicago, a son of Charles Alice Masunas Kazukauskas. On June 19, 1954, in Chicago, he married
Marjorie Acker.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Hamilton; one daughter, Karrie Kazukauskas of Vero Beach, Fla.; one son, Barry (Tuesday) Kazukauskas of Vero Beach, Fla.; one brother, Charles (Laverne) Kazukauskas of Plainfield; three granddaughters, Michelle (Dustin) Monroe, Kasey Kazukauskas, Kayla Kazukauskas; three great-grandchildren, Brody and Addison Monroe and Austin Kazukauskas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He grew up in Chicago, was educated in Chicago, and graduated from Kelly High School in Chicago. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hamilton and the Hamilton V.F.W. He was employed at Roquette for 34 years. He bowled on a league for several years and belonged to a two-ball foursome golf group. He loved gardening, working in the greenhouse, watching movies and spending time with his family and friends.
Funeral services were held at Saturday, Nov. 27, in the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton. Father Michael Menner officiated. Burial followed in the Oakwood cemetery in Hamilton with a flag presentation by the Hamilton V.F.W.
Memorials in the name of Bruno Kazukauskas have been established for the Hancock County Cancer Society or the Hamilton Public Library.
SHARON LONDRIE
Nov. 24, 1947 -- May 27, 2004
Sharon Londrie, 56, of Carthage, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria of natural causes.
She was born Nov. 24, 1947, the daughter of Virgil and Dorothy Beck Lemley in Carthage. She married
Mick Londrie in Burnside in 1985.
She is survived by her husband, Michael "Mick" of Carthage; two sons, Rod (Jeanne) Leighty of Carthage and Rick (Mary Ann) Leighty of Carthage; six brothers and sisters, Jerry (Marilyn) Lemley of Bardolph, Sandra (Larry) Martin of Plymouth, Pat (Roy) Kemp of Madill, Okla., Bob (Peggy) Lemley of Carthage, and Larry (Carol) Lemley of Carthage; one sister-in-law, Jackie Lemley; six grandchildren, Cece Leighty, Mary-Lou, Bambi Leigh and Ricky Leighty, and Jerry Lee and Jakota McGee; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gene Lemley.
She attended schools in Plymouth, graduating in 1965. She was a member of the Burnside Christian Church.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 1, at the Burnside Christian Church. Pastor Chris Reynolds officiated. Burial followed in the Moss Ridge cemetery in Carthage.
A memorial fund has been established.
LINDA L. FYE
Feb. 5, 1952 -- May 29, 2004
Linda L. Fye, 52, of LaHarpe died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at her home.
She was born Feb. 5, 1952, in Monmouth, the daughter of William and Martha Walker Nees. On May 31, 1972, she married
Carl W. Fye.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, William Fye of Monmouth, Timothy Fye and Sean Fye, both of LaHarpe; three grandchildren; one sister, Sally Johnson of Champaign; and one brother, Tom Nees of Monmouth.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 4, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. Rev. Bruce Goettsche will officiate.
A memorial fund has been established.
JIMMIE FISHER

Jimmie Lee Fisher, 69, of Carthage died unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Memorial Hospital in Carthage.
Jimmie was born Oct. 13, 1934, the daughter of Ernest Leslie and Willie Pearl (Taylor) Boggs in Van, Texas. On August 20, 1956, she was united in marriage to Bobbie Lee Fisher in Wakomis, Okla. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband Bobbie of Carthage; 3 daughters, Jerrie Wilson of Westville, Okla., Jackie King of Dewey, Okla., Bettie (Lyndon) Blair of Carthage and 2 sons, James (Ellen) Fisher of Dewey, Okla. and Timothy Fisher of Westville, Okla.; 20 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; one brother, James Calvin Boggs of Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services were held Friday, May 28, at the Southside cemetery in Basco.
A memorial fund has been established.
HILDA M. SANDERS

Hilda May Sanders, 79, of Oak Lawn, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at the Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.
She was born Feb. 25, 1925 in LaHarpe, the daughter of Archie and Ruby Gilmore Collins. On Aug. 23, 1947, she married
Walter Sanders in Chicago. He died July 15, 2002.
She is survived by three daughters, Verna (Gerald) Satala of Wilmington, Juanita Specht of Oak Lawn and Joanne Sigel of Orland Park; two sons, David (Carmen) Sanders of California and John (Casmira) Sanders of Lockport; two stepsons, Walter Sanders of California and Robert Sanders of Missouri; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adeline Weast of Dahinda and Joan Shoemaker of LaHarpe; and three brothers, Harold, Clyde and Claude Collins, all of LaHarpe.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 1, at Banks & Beals Funeral Home in LaHarpe. Burial followed in the LaHarpe cemetery.
