David Winkler, Jr., 78, of Alexis, died at 7:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 29, 2004 at St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg. Funeral services were 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at Hoover-Hall, Monmouth, with Pastor Phil Cooper of the Alexis United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Alexis Cemetery. Friends called on Friday, Dec. 3, at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, where his family was present from 5 - 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be left for the American Cancer Society or the Alexis-North Henderson Ambulance Service.

Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at United Presbyterian Church, New Windsor, with Reverend Joyce Basler officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. Friends may greet the family one hour prior to the services at the church. Memorials may be left to AlWood Education Foundation, Alpha Cemetery or Bethphage Mission of Axtell, Neb. Peterson-Wallin-Knox funeral home in Alpha is in charge of the arrangements.

Services were Thursday, Dec. 2, at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church, Keithsburg, with visitation one hour prior to services. Private burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Jakob's name at Joy State Bank. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Madeline L. Mack, 99, of Taylor Ridge was 10 a.m. Monday, Nov.29 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation was 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan where a Christian wake service was held at 5 p.m. Additional visitation was held an hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Andalusia, the American Cancer Society or to a favorite charity.

Burial was in the Eliza Creek Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to services where memorials may be left to the Mercer County Senior Citizens Center or the Aledo United Methodist Church.

Graveside services were 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 at the Alexis Cemetery with Pastor Phil Cooper of the Alexis United Presbyterian Church officiating. No visitation was planned. Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel, Alexis, was in charge of the arrangements.

Wayne E. Nelson, 93, of New Windsor died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at Rosewood Care Center in Moline. Services were at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at Calvary Lutheran Church in New Windsor with the Reverend Jane McChesney officiating. Burial was in the New Windsor Cemetery. Visitation was 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 21 at Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home in Alpha, where memorials may be left to Calvary Lutheran Church or the donor's favorite charity.

Kendrick Matthew officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Hanover. A memorial fund has been established in Frances' name and may be left to Mercy Hospice, Clinton, Iowa.
