Mr. Posey, who had served at the library for the last four years, previously worked as a specialized framing carpenter for 17 years. He served in the U.S Army in Korea and was a member of American Legion Post No. 42 in Evanston. Services were held at St. Mary's Church in Evanston, and burial was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Mr. Posey is survived by five sisters, Mary Jackson, Addie Michelin and Annie Barnes of Evanston and Juanita Anderson and Eunice Posner of Chicago.
