Minnie Marie Hudgeons, 89, of Elizabethtown, died 8:15 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2002, at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2002, at Hosick Funeral Home Chapel in Rosiclare. Burial will be in Lance-Nichols cemetery in Princeton, Ky. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at the funeral home.
She is survived by a nephew.
Dwight Jennings Frohock
Dwight Jennings Frohock, 80, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died Sunday, July 28, 2002.
Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2002, at First Southern Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens cemetery in Colorado Springs. Arrangements are in the charge of Swan-Law Funeral Directors, Inc. in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Nada (Brinkley) Frohock; and two daughters.
Clara Kathryn Edwards
Clara Kathryn Edwards, 86, of Sullivan, Ind., formerly of Linton, Ind. and Kewanee, died 7:20 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2002, at Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2002, at Welch & Cornett Li nton Chapel with the Rev. LaMont Bonath officiating. Burial is in Fairview cemetery in Linton. Visitation is 9 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, a sister, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a niece.
Thelma H. Whiteside
Thelma H. Whiteside, 84, of Plano, Texas, formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Collinwood Nursing Home in Plano.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Burial will be in Robinson-Wise cemetery in Ozark. Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Friday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1917, in Stonefort to the late Alvin and Clara (Evetts) Nicholson. In Feb. 1936, she married
Rolla Whiteside, who survives.
She owned and operated the Stylette Beauty Salon in Harrisburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Elaine Boren of Dallas, Texas and Judy (Jay) Waite of Carrollton, Texas; a son, Trevor (Louise) Whiteside of Plano, Texas; her twin sister, Velma (Webb) Hall of Stonefort, another sister, Margaret Rosenkilde of Walnut Creek, Calif.; a brother, Loyd (Rosemary) Nicholson of Carrier Mills; six grandchildren, Lisa DeMaster of Houston, Texas, Linda Given of Carmel, Ind., T.J. Whiteside and Thad Whiteside, both of Price, Utah, Kimberly Camp of Snellville, Ga., and Jae Rangel of Lewisville, Texas; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Tom Whiteside; and seven brothers and sisters, Everett, Vernell, and Earl Nicholson, Ruby Russell, Ruth Church, Bonnie Paden and Betty Richerson.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Robinson-Wise cemetery in lieu of flowers.

Donald R. Richardson, 63, of Junction, formerly of New Haven, died Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at Cox & Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown with the Rev. Tom Flewellen officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge cemetery in New Haven. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2002, at the funeral home.
He was born Oct. 1, 1938, in New Haven to the late Lewis and Reta (Carney) Richardson. He was the widower of Anna Mae (Spivey) Richardson.
He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Will (Robin) Richardson of Shawneetown; four daughters, Patricia (Dickie) Woods of Ridgway, Cathy (Mike) Malone of Junction, Kim Stacey of Shawneetown, Donna Owen of Carrier Mills; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, Curt Richardson of Omaha, Jim Richardson of Eldorado, Doyle Richardson of New Haven, Kenny Richardson of Enfield; and a sister, Margaret Bowers of McLeansboro.

Steve Eric Farrar, 47, of Torrance, Calif., formerly of Carrier Mills, died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at his residence.

Evelyn Ellis
Evelyn Ellis, 90, of Golconda, died 1:06 p..m. Tuesday, June 11, 2002, at Hardin County Hospital.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda with the Rev. E.J. Cole officiating.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Golconda. Visitation is 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2002, at the funeral home.
She is survived by four nephews and four nieces.
Anna L. Smothers
Anna L. Smothers, 85, of Harrisburg, died 3:52 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2002 at her residence.
Anna was a homemaker and attended the Sloan Street General Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
She was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Walnut Grove, to John and Pearl (Stone) Wilkins.
She was united in marriage to William Arthur Smothers on July 20, 1931, in Harrisburg. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1992.
Surviving are: two sons and a daughter-in-law, Ken Smothers of Harrisburg, Don and Ann Smothers of Roanoke, Ind; a daughter and son-in-law, Barb and Jim Waddell of Harrisburg, daughter-in-law, Mary Smothers of Wapakoneta, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was also preceded by a son, Bob Smothers on June 28, 1990, parents, and two brothers, Andrew and Harry Wilkins.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2002, at Sunset Garden cemetery in Harrisburg. The Rev. Jonah Walker will officiate. Interment will follow services in Sunset Garden cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2002, at Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home in Herrin. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois (envelopes will be available at the funeral home) or may be mailed to Meredith-Waddell Funeral Home, P. O. Box 2071, Herrin, Ill. 62948.

Bonnie Jean (Dunn) Neal, 68, of Harrisburg, died 8:06 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1934, in Harrisburg to Bradford and Julia (Flemming) Dunn. She married
Charles R. Neal on Nov. 5, 1955, and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Sloan Street General Baptist Church in Harrisburg.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bradley "Brad" (Mary) Neal; a daughter, Kathryn "Kathy" Neal and a precious granddaughter, Brianna Neal, all of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Ray Dunn and Glendal Dunn.

Wayne Owen, 79, of 1505 Eldorado St., Eldorado, died 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, 2002, at the Eldorado Care Center.

He is survived by his wife, June Owen.
Louie Edmond Feazel
Louie Edmond Feazel, 87, of Harrisburg, died 7:40 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2002, at Harrisburg Care Center.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, 2002, at Gaskins Funeral Home with the Rev. John Lee officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery in Harrisburg. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at the funeral home.
He was born April 10, 1915, in Harrisburg, to the late Oliver and Eva (Slaton) Feazel. He married
Opal Price, who preceded him in death in 1989. On Nov. 15, 1990, he married
the former Blanche Lauderdale, who survives.
He was a supervisor for the railroad, a member of the Pankeyville Baptist Church and a member of the Carrier Mills Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, John Feazel of Carrier Mills; two daughters, Linda Butler and Peggy Pickering, both of Harrisburg; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers. Hubert, John and Frank Feazel; and three sisters, Aline Miner, Louise Hickman and Lillian Myers.
