Private graveside services will be Saturday, September 11, 1999 at Fluorine cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Goins will officiate.

Paul Carnett, 74, of Equality died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999 at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion.
Visitation was today from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cox & Son Funeral Homes in Ridgway. Graveside services were at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10. The Rev. Gary Hayes will officiate. Military rites will be performed at the Elmwood cemetery in Equality.
Hazel Wright
Hazel Wright, 88, of Harrisburg, died at 9:09 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8. 1999 at Harrisburg Medical Center. She was preceded in death by two sons John Wright and Bobby Lee Wright; and one brother.
Funeral services were 1 p.m. today with burial in Ward cemetery.
Larry Lee Logsdon
Larry Lee Logsdon, 61, ofAbilene, Texas, formerly of Harrisburg, died Monday, Feb.10, 1997 at a hospital in Abilene.
Mr. Logsdon was born inHarrisburg in January, 1936. His parents were the lateLawrence and Eva Logsdon.
He served in the U.S. Air Forcein the Korean Conflict and Vietnam before retiring in1977 as a master sergeant. He moved to Abilene in 1964from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri.
He graduated from Cisco JuniorCollege. He was a member and past master of Masonic Lodge559 and was a 32nd degree Mason. He also was a member ofVeterans of Foreign Wars Post 2012.
He married
Loretta Moore in 1964in Abilene. She survives along with one son, JohnGreggory Logsdon of Abilene; one daughter, ShelleDawnette Clark of Merkel, Texas; two brothers, JohnZeigler of Marion, Ill.; and Jerry Karnes of Taswell,Va.; three sisters, Carol Nolen of Harrisburg and HelenMarkovich of Mesa, Ariz. and Donna Ashe of Lakeland,Fla.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Friday, Feb.14, 1997 at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel ofMemories, 542 Hickory, with Ernie Kight officiating.Burial with Masonic rites and military honors were inElmwood Memorial Park.
Margaret Jones
Mrs. Margaret Jones, 84, ofGalatia, died at 4:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 1997 at theGood Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.
She was married
on June 2, 1937,to Dowe Jones, who preceded her in death on Oct. 10,1982.
Mrs. Jones was born on Nov. 14,1912, in Galatia to the late Grover and Nova DurhamJones.
She was a retired school teacherand taught in the Saline County Schools for many years.She was a member of the Retired Teacher's Association.
Mrs. Jones was a member of LongBranch Baptist Church where she played the piano forseveral years.
Surviving are a brother, Dr.Grover Gene Sloan of Harrisburg; three sisters, BeulahBond, Sallie Adams and Ruth Girot, all of Galatia; andseveral nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death bythree brothers, Bluford Sloan, Roswell Sloan and CharlesSloan.
Services will be held at 11 a.m.Thursday at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, where friendsmay call after 5 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. James Baldwin willofficiate and burial will be in Durham cemetery.
Memorial contributions may bemade to Durham cemetery and left at the funeral home.
Clifford (Chick) Bradley
Clifford (Chick) Bradley, 83, ofRaleigh, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 1997 at hishome.
He was married
to Winnie Staffordon July 31, 1960. She preceded him in death on July 21,1994.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1913, inRaleigh to the late Ernest and Mallie Karnes Bradley.
Mr. Bradley was an Army veteranof World War II. He was a Master Tool and Dye Maker forFisher Body, Grand Blanc, Mich., retiring after 39 years.
He was a member of Mount PleasantSocial Brethren Church, Raleigh Township Board, and apast member of Harrisburg-Raleigh Airport Board.
Surviving are a son, CliffordAndrew Bradley of Wayne, Mich.; a daughter, Charlene(Susie) Shepherd of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, BillShepherd, Chris Bradley, Lisa Bradley, Natalie Bradleyand Victoria Bradley; and a great-grandson, JacobShepherd.
Also surviving are four sisters,Bonnie Phelps and Opal Mings, both of Raleigh, JuneVillines of Evansville, and Dorothy Farthing of NorthCarolina; and seven brothers, Gilbert Bradley and HubertBradley, both of Raleigh, Ralph Bradley of Virden,Wendell Bradley of Bloomington, Harold Bradley of Olneyand Ernest Bradley of Rosiclare.
He was preceded in death by hiswife, parents, a brother, Wilbur Bradley and two sisters,Cathryn Rapp and Lorene Davis.
Services will be held at 2 p.m.Thursday at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, where friendsmay call from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be inRaleigh Masonic cemetery with military rites by theHarrisburg and Carrier Mills.

Paul Logsdon, 64, died at 1:30p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 1997 at his home, 6809 RidgewayDrive, Evansville, Ind.
He was a Korean War Navy veteranand a member of Dorrisville Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 41years, Mary Polance Logsdon; a daughter, Helen Logsdon ofSan Diego, Calif.; and a granddaughter, Asheley Overton.
The body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be at 6p.m. Friday at Lambert Family Funeral Home in Harrisburgwith entombment pending. The Rev. Mark Haumschilt willofficiate.
There will be no visitation atLambert Family Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
Martha Spegal
Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Spegal, 86,died at 10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997 at FountainviewNursing Home in Eldorado.
She was a member of McLeansboroFirst General Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sisters,Imogene Richeson of Alton and Helen Brittain of DearbornHeights, Mich.; and nieces and nephews.
Her first husband, Hyland Burnam,died in 1960 and her second husband, Enos Spegal, died in1981.
Services will be held at 1 p.m.Wednesday at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro, wherefriends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will bein Cave Hill cemetery in Cave-in-Rock.

Mrs. Wilma Fricker, 83, died at 8a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1997 at her home 624 West ChurchSt., Harrisburg.
She was the widow of TinyFricker.

Verneda Poore
Mrs. Verneda Poore, 76, wife of Harold "Peanuts" Poore, of 1217 Morgan Trace, Eldorado, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 1997 at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 13, 1920, in Oakland City, Ind., to the late Ralph and Lucy Skinner Ferguson.
Mrs. Poore retired as a dietitian from Eldorado Care Center.
She was a member of Eldorado First United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Harold Poore; two sons, Don and wife, Cindy Poore of Eldorado, and Harold "Gene" and wife, Rose Poore of Carmi; a daughter, Pat and husband, Jerry Clark of Eldorado; a brother, Orance "Red" and wife, Bea Ferguson of Oakland City; a sister, Elnore Arnold of Spurgeon, Ind., and four grandchildren, Jon Poore, Jayson Clark, Julie Clark, and Tammy Poore.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dr. C.B. Ferguson, Hank Ferguson and Bobby Joe Ferguson.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Alan Rhein and the Rev. Dean Blackburn will officiate. Burial will be in Enfield cemetery.
Albert Miles
Albert Miles, 97, of Harrisburg, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at 6:24 p.m. in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado.
He was born on Jan. 28, 1900, in Salem, Ky. to the late John and Minnie Foreman Miles.
He retired from the railroad, and was a member of Miles Chapel A.M.E. Church and Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are sisters, Eva Sharp of Marion, Ky., Beulah Bradford and Charlene Littleton of Louisville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death in 1994 by his wife, Bertha Pringle. His parents, eight brothers, and three sisters, also preceded him in death.
Services will be held Thursday at 12 at Jackson Funeral home in Harrisburg, where friends may call after 11 a.m. until service time Thursday. The Rev. Albert Ingram will officiate and burial will be in Lakeview cemetery at Carrier Mills.
