Myrtle Anglin
Myrtle Anglin, 96, of Harrisburg, died Friday morning at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.
She was born Aug. 23, 1903, in Hardin County to Andy and Martha (Milligan) Gibbons. She married
Raymond Anglin July 29, 1922 in Muddy. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Anglin was a homemaker and a Land Street Church of God member.
She is survived by three sons, James Junior and wife, Sophie Anglin of Harrisburg, Bobbie G. and wife, Molly Anglin of Evansville, Ind., and David and wife, Barbara Anglin of Harrisburg; a sister, Paulina and husband, Roy Donelson of Hammond, Ind.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles H. Anglin in January 1995; four brothers, Charlie Gibbons, Cecil Gibbons, Ray Gibbons and Norman Gibbons; and a sister, Mabel Hancock.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with the Rev. Paul Alunbaugh officiating. Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Good Hope cemetery near Karbers Ridge.
Howard Crabb
Howard Crabb, 93, of Rosiclare Health Care, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 15 at Rosiclare Health Care.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Crabb of Herod; one daughter, Wilda Robinson of Herod; one son; Larry Crabb of Harrisburg; two brothers, Fred Crabb of Florida and Dempsey Crabb of Harrisburg; two sisters, Lottie Crider and Gypsy Hamp, both of Harrisburg; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17 at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare with Glenn Hicks officiating. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial is in Lavender cemetery.
Marilyn Kay Williams
Marilyn Kay Williams, 51, of 14 East Homer St., Harrisburg died 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She was born July 30, 1948 in Carrier Mills to Ishmel Douglas and Oma (Graves) Blackman. She married
Curtis Williams Oct. 15, 1966. He survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Castle Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived three daughters, LaDonna Field of Galatia, Cindy Potts of Harrisburg, and Jessica Williams of Harrisburg; her mother, Oma Blackman of Carrier Mills; five grandchildren, Christopher Field, Elijah Field, Garrett Williams, Devon Potts, and Kaylin Potts; two brothers, Douglas Blackman of Christopher and Arkwright Blackman of Carrier Mills; and four sisters, Marie Carter of California, Linda Beasley of Harrisburg, Barbara Cooper of Kentucky, and Sue Heflin of Galatia.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg, with the Rev. Ownley Williams officiating. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial is in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.

Robert Eugene Nickles, 53, of 114A S. Durham St., Harrisburg, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2000, at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion.
Graveside services will precede burial at 2 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2000, at Salem cemetery in Salem, Mo. There is no visitation.

Lawrence McLain, 71, of Shawneetown died at 1:08 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2000, at the St. Joseph cemetery in Equality, with the Rev. Mark Stec officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.
Kathryn (Hobbs) Tucker
Kathryn (Hobbs) Tucker, 73, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Harrisburg, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2000, after a year-long illness.
She is survived by two brothers, Elmer Hobbs Jr. of Harrisburg, and Billy Hobbs of Wichia Falls, Texas; a stepsister, Linda Beal of Ridgway; an aunt, Virginia Gulley of Harrisburg; a nephew, Thomas J. Hobbs Sr. and wife, Kathleen of Harrisburg; three brothers-in-law, Bertis Tucker and wife, Melba of Harrisburg, Perry Tucker and wife, Ann Mae of Hamlet, Ind., and Robert Tucker and wife, Juanita of Tucson, Ariz.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend, Inez Rochon of Phoenix.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Edna Hobbs; and one brother, Bobby Hobbs.
The body has been cremated. Graveside services are 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2000, at Robinson cemetery, near New Burnside.

Frank Douglas
Frank Douglas, 84, formerly of 2009 Saline Ave. in Eldorado died at 11:05 a.m. Nov. 10, 1997, at the Eldorado Care Center.
He was a farmer born in Omaha, Ill., on Dec. 10, 1912, to James F. and Mary Lou (Shaw) Douglas. He married
Helen P. Cox on Dec. 2, 1933, in Norris City. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Arnold Douglas and his wife Wilma Dell of Eldorado; two sisters, Ethel Davis of Eldorado, Delena Greer of Denver, Colo.; two grandchildren, Russell Douglas and his wife Karen and William Paul Douglas all of Eldorado; and three great-grandchildren, Heather Leigh Douglas, Zachary Ray Douglas and Krystal June Douglas, all of Eldorado.
Mr. Douglas was preceded in death by three brothers, Dallas C. Douglas, John W. Douglas and an infant boy; and five sisters, Bertha C. McKenzie, Carrie Johnson, Maggie Bruce, Lura Marie Douglas and Lilly Howard.
He was a farmer by occupation.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Revs. Larry Pugh and Arthur Foster will officiate. Burial will be in Hazel Ridge cemetery in Omaha.

Maxine Smith, 76, of 6100 Mount Moriah Road near Harrisburg died Wednesday morning, Nov. 12, 1997, at her home.
Visitation will start at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville. Funeral Services are set at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gary Hayes will officiate.
Burial will be at Wolf Creek cemetery in Eldorado.

Alberta Wright, 84, of Shawneetown, died Wednesday at 4:22 a.m. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Visitation is set for Thursday, Nov. 13, from 4-8 p.m. at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown. The funeral will be Friday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Shawneetown.
Rev. Julia Hazzard will officiate.
Burial will be at Westwood cemetery.

Tina Lynn Pabst, 41, of Du Quoin, died at 3:47 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 1997, at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Visitation is set for Thursday, Nov. 13, from 4-8 p.m. and the funeral will be Friday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.
Pastor Jack Hall will officiate.
Burial will be at Westwood cemetery.
