Amanda Bean
Amanda Bean, 89, of 1100 Moore Street in Eldorado, died at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 12, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Mrs. Bean was born to Andrew and Tracy (White) Cox on Dec. 24, 1907, in Ridgway. She married
James Walter Bean who preceded her in death in 1976.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Loren, Paul and Richard Bean, all of Eldorado; and four daughters, Ruby McDaniel, Dorothy Dallas, Margaret Ashby and Dotty Stevens. The first three daughters live in Eldorado. Stevens lives in Raleigh. Thirty-three grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Don and Bob Bean, and one daughter, Opal Jewell.
No visitation is set. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Jackson cemetery in Ridgway. The Rev. Betty Tucker will officiate.
Watson Funeral Home of Eldorado will handle the arrangements.

Lawrence Goolsby, 64, of Rosiclare, died at 10:14 a.m. at Hardin County General Hospital in Rosiclare.
Visitation and services are pending from Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare.
Martin 'Moke' Abell
Martin "Moke" Abell, 87, of Ridgway died at 3:20 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2000 at Ridgway Manor. He was born April 18, 1913 to Lloyd and Marie (Berrgan) Abell.
Mr. Abell was a retired farmer and bus driver for Gallatin County school district.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Abell of Ridgway; five sons, the Rev. Don Abell of Eldorado, Bob Abell of Fairview Heights, Larry Abell of Goreville, Richard Abell of Ramsey and Pat Abell of Ridgway; and two daughters, Cathy Smith of Ridgway and Linda McGuire of Ridgway.
Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2000 at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway, with a prayer service following visitation. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ridgway, with the Rev. Don Abell officiating. Burial is in St. Patrick's cemetery in Ridgway.
Theophlis M. "Off" Miller
Theophlis M. "Off" Miller, 85, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Harrisburg, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000 in Mesa. He was born in Blocton, Ala.
Mr. Miller was a retired engineer.
Surviving are his wife, Sibyl Miller; and two sisters, Ruth Tucker and Sally Tennison.
Services were 1 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2000, at Melcher's Mission Chapel.

Lorene Vinyard
Lorene Vinyard, 73, of Tampa, Fla., formerly of the Harrisburg area, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2000 at the University Village in Tampa.

Betty Love
Betty Love, 64, of Rosiclare, died at 3:11 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky Love and Dewayne Love; one daughter, Barbara Smock; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at Cox Funeral Home in Rosiclare. Funeral services are 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Cecil Warden Yarber
Cecil Warden Yarber, 76, of Spring Valley, Calif. died in Spring Valley on Jan. 8, 2000. He was a former resident of the Harrisburg's Dorrisville area.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Sunday, May 28, 2000, at the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg. The family is in charge of memorial services.
The body has been cremated.
Victor Kasiar
Victor Kasiar, 86, of 2142 Grand Ave., Eldorado, died Wednesday, July 9, 1997 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1910, in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Kasmir and Julia Kasiar.
He was a Glazier and had worked for Venetian Mirror, Stearns & Saddler Glass Co. and Beck's Drug Store. He was an Army veteran and a member of Masonic Lodge 730 and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Kasiar was a member of Eldorado Christian Church and had served as a deacon for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Doris Gladson, and they were married
on Aug. 6, 1938, in Kentucky. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and John Frost; and a son and daughter-in-law, Vince and Tisha Kasiar, all of Eldorado; seven grandchildren and spouses, Victor and Ann Frost of Harrisburg, Kim and Bill Frost of Bluford, Rita and Eric Campbell of Antioch, Tenn., Diane and Berry McDermott of Harrisburg, Jason and Jennifer Kasiar of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Matt Kasiar of Eldorado; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Rick Connelly and Herb Buche will officiate. Burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery at Eldorado.

Gladys Adamson
Mrs. Gladys Adamson, 77, of 1101 South Ledford St., Harrisburg, died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 1997 in Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was born on Sept. 22, 1919, in Swanwick, to the late Earl and Edna Macke Kimmel. She was raised in the home of Will and Mollie Mullinix.
She was a bookkeeper for Consumers Power Co. in Pontiac, Mich.
Mrs. Adamson was a member of the Harrisburg First Baptist Church.
Preceeding her in death were two husbands, Lowell Fulkerson and Tom Adamson; and a sister, Lola Murray.
Surviving is a sister, Blanche Reynolds of Harrisburg.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at J.M. Weirauch Funeral Home in Harrisburg, where friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Mike Davis will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery.
Edna Pearl Conger
Mrs. Edna Pearl Conger, 70, of Metropolis, formerly of Rosiclare, died Wednesday, July 9, 1997 in Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Services for Mrs. Amy Burns, 93, former Harrisburg resident, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Gary Hays will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Hill cemetery at Harrisburg.
Mrs. Burns died Tuesday, July 8, 1997, at 8:23 a.m. at City Care Center at Eldorado.
