Lucy Page
Mrs. Lucy Page, 91, of Belle Rive, died at 11:27 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996 in Nature Trail Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. Her husband, Norval Page, died in 1972.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Alice Lankford of Mount Vernon; a son, A.C. Page, Belle Rive; a sister, Eliza Hutchcraft of Dahlgren; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and a stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery near Frisco.
Johnie Mocaby
Services for Johnie Mocaby, 85, of Thompsonville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate and burial will be in Liberty cemetery.
Harold "Rusty" Hooten
Services for Harold "Rusty" Hooten, 65, of 602 North Main St., Harrisburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Lambert Family Funeral Home in Harrisburg, where friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Don Nelson will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Garden cemetery with military rites by Carrier Mills Legion and Harrisburg Legion.
Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Bruce
Services for Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Bruce, 78, of Eldorado, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28 at Star General Baptist Church. The Rev. Barry Winders will officiate and burial will be in Rhine cemetery at Raleigh.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
Howard Swinford
Howard Swinford, 89, of Golconda, died at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 1998 at the Pope County Care Home.
He was born on March 12, 1909, in Pope County, to the late Frank and Lula (Jeffords) Swinford.
On Sept. 29, 1928, he married
the former Rosetta Musgrave. She preceded him in death in 1986.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Linda Swinford of DuQuoin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Bettis of Jacksonville, and Elizabeth and Bill Cory of Williamsville; a brother, Wade Swinford of Havana; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Mr. Swinford was a retired star route mail carrier. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Golconda.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Golconda. The Rev. Billy Green will officiate.
Friends may call at the Aly Funeral Home in Golconda from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial may be made to Southern Illinois Hospice.
Maude B. Kaegi
Mrs. Maude B. Kaegi, age 102, of Cave-in-Rock, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Surviving are two sons, Garcia "Red" Kaegi of Wood River, and Wendell "Slunch" Kaegi of Salem; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kaegi; and two daughters, Lucille Moore and Beulah Kaegi.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-in-Rock, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Junior Austin will officiate and burial will be in Cave Hill cemetery.
Russell N. Goldman
Services for Russell N. Goldman, 90, of Eldorado, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998 at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Barry Winders will officiate and burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery at Eldorado.

Services for Ralph M. Wooley, 87, of Equality, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Equality Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery near Equality.

Zachary Alexander Landrum
Graveside services for Zachary Alexander Landrum, 4-day-old son of James M. and Paula J. (Brooks) Landrum, of Kansas City, Mo., who died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, in Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. at the Joyner cemetery at Stonefort.
There will be no visitation and friends should go directly to the cemetery. The Rev. Doug Burkhamer will officiate.
Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of the arrangements.

Glendle Gene Upchurch
Glendle Gene Upchurch, 56, of 112 National Street, Harrisburg, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at his residence.
He was born March 7, 1943, in Harrisburg, to the late Robert Lendle and Mary (Younger) Upchurch.
Mr. Upchurch was a former teacher at Earle C. Clements Job Corp and was an Army veteran.
He was a member of Harrisburg First Baptist Church.
On Nov. 12, 1964, he married
the former Linda Henson. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Shannon Upchurch and Brian Upchurch, both of Harrisburg; a brother, Mike Upchurch of Harrisburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mike (Kaye) Peeples of Jamestown, N.C., Jane Cushists and Jean Dunn, both of Harrisburg; two granddaughters, Addison Abigail and Parker Catherine; four grandsons, Brandon Keith, Dylan Wayne, Dustin Wade and Dakota Warren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg, where friends may call after 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday. The Rev. Mike Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.
