Funeral services for John L. Murphy, 73, of 16180 Windermere Circle, Southgate, Mich., formerly of Eldorado, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Barry Winders will officiate and burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery in Eldorado.
Fannie Morris
Services for Mrs. Fannie Morris, 90, of Dixon, a former resident of Equality, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Equality. The Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home of Equality.
Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery near Equality.
Denzil Clay Wilkinson
Services for Denzil Clay Wilkinson, 85, of Eldorado, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Colonial Terrance Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Sam Vaughn will officiate and burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery at Eldorado, where military rites will be performed.
Earl Eugene "Gene" Hooten
Earl Eugene "Gene" Hooten, 25, of 2301 Grand Ave., Eldorado, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, at Harrisburg Medical Center from injuries received in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 45, near Wasson Road.
He was born in Redbud on June 18, 1972, to Harold D. "Rusty" and Emma Lee (Griffin) Hooten. His father preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 1996.
Mr. Hooten was a construction worker for the Budget Builders in Eldorado.
He is survived by his mother, Emma Melton of Eldorado; a friend and her son, Lori Price and Brian Price, of Eldorado; two brothers, Gary D. and his wife, Marcie Hooten of Carrier Mills and Conrad McCloskey of Peyton, Colo.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Tom Flewellen will officiate. Burial will be in Jones cemetery near Equality.
William Chapman
William Chapman, 77, a resident of Ridgway Manor, formerly of Equality, died at 12:38 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 1997, in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado.

James Allen Foster
James Allen Foster, 30, of Minneapolis, Minn., died Monday, July 10, 2000, in Region's Hospital in St. Paul.
He was born April 14, 1970, in El Paso, Texas, to Robert and Donna (Hammond) Whitlow.
He was an information services representative and a Baptist by faith. He is survived by his parents; his girlfriend, Jenne Spain of Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Robert Whitlow Jr. of Buffalo, N.Y. and David Wayne Foster of Dumfries, Va.; a sister, Tina Foster of Manassas, Va.; his maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Hammond of El Paso; his maternal grandfather, Francis Hammond of Pueblo, Colo.; his paternal grandmother, Grace Whitlow of Harrisburg; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Coal Bank Springs cemetery in Crab Orchard with the Rev. Gary Graves officiating. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations may be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.

Margaret Ozee
Margaret Ozee, 86, of 610 W. Sloan St., Harrisburg, died 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital Emergency Room in Eldorado.
She was born May 12, 1914, in Gallatin County to Benjamin and Lottie (Abraham) Craig. She married
Eugene Ozee March 14, 1953. He preceded her in death June 19, 1985.
She was a retired homemaker and a member of Eastern Star.
She also was a member of McKinley Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Ben Barger of Punta Gorda, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Norma Smith of Harrisburg and Mary Shackleford of Harrisburg; three stepsons, Bob Ozee of Montgomery, Ala., Jack Ozee of San Antonio, Texas and Glendall Ozee of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Geneva Epperson of Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bert Craig, and a sister, Albadine Grounds.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Harold Williams officiating. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.
Judith Ann Davis
Judith Ann Davis, 60, of Carrier Mills, died 4:07 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at her home.
She was born Sept. 21, 1939, in Saline County, to Lewis and Ina (Browning) Davis. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughter, Lori Cepparoni of Clarkston, Mich.; a son, David Baker of Lapeer, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Norman (Ava) Gee of Eddyville; a brother, Robert Davis of Pontiac, Mich.; and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will precede 11 a.m. burial Friday, July 14, 2000, at Salem cemetery in Carrier Mills with the Rev. Norman Cozart officiating.
There will be no visitation; those attending may gather at the cemetery.

John T. Walton
John T. Walton, 65, of Harrisburg, died 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
He was born July 19, 1934, in Spokane, Wash., to Theodore and Florence (Beck) Walton. He was a Personnel Manager of the U.S. Forest Service.
He was a Catholic by faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Eastern Washington State University. He was a member of American Legion.
He is survived by a brother, Jim Walton, and a sister, Grace Walton, both of Spokane.

Tawnia D. Dunn
Tawnia D. Dunn, 28, of 1105 Taylor Street, Eldorado, died at 5:55 p.m. July 12, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 12, 1971, in Hamilton County to Helen (Prince) Dunn, who survives in Eldorado, and the late Darrell Dunn. She married
Tom McKay in Eldorado, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Tiffany Dunn McKay of Eldorado; a brother, Darrin Dunn, of Fort Leonardwood, Mo.; and a sister Trina Irwin of Eldorado.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. The Rev. Curt Yorborough will officiate. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.
Memorials may be left at the Funeral home for a trust fund for her daughter, Tiffany.
Richard Frier Sr.
Richard Frier Sr., 84, of 213 E. Townsend, Shawneetown, died at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
He was born Monday, Sept. 6, 1915, in Illinois to the late Richard and Maggie (Blair) Frier.
He married
the former Glenn Moore in 1972 and she survives.
He was a retired truck driver.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard Frier Jr. and wife, Karen of Shawneetown; two daughters, Dorris Ann Kilmer and Virginia Case and husband, Carl of Shawneetown; a stepson, Glenn Phillips and wife, Peggy; two brothers, Harry Frier and wife, Wanda of Harrisburg and Gibby Frier and wife, Norma of Danville; a sister, Helen Rigsby of Melbourne, Fla.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2000, at Cox and Son Funeral Home in Shawneetown. The Rev. Graver Leonberger will officiate. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Westwood cemetery in Shawneetown.
