James Donald Hannah
James Donald Hannah, 76, of Ferrell Road, Rosiclare died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2000 at the V.A. Medical Center in Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hannah of Rosiclare; and two daughters, Darlene and Pat of Rosiclare; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his parents, James A. and Gertrude (Shreves) Hannah; and two brothers, Arthur Owen and John Everett.
By his own request, his body has been cremated and there will be service.
Donations may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois in memory of Mr. James D. Hannah and may be left at Hosick Funeral Home, 505 Third St., Rosiclare.
Cherie (Chesta Cole) Hunter
Cherie (Chesta Cole) Hunter of Burbank, Calif. and formerly of Saline County, died July 12, 2000, in Burbank. She was raised and attended school in Saline County.
She is survived by her husband, Robert "Billy" Hunter of Burbank; an aunt, Wanda Sweat of Carrier Mills; a cousin, Jennie Holmes of Carrier Mills; and cousins Charles King and Susan Bartoloni of St. Charles, Mo. and Rhonda (Richerson) Henderson of Eddyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Cole and Margaret (Monzelle) Joyner, her maternal grandparents, Earl and Artie Davis, and maternal aunts Mary Alice Richerson and Mildred King.
Burial arrangements are pending.
Margaret Ozee
Margaret Ozee, 86, of 610 W. Sloan St., Harrisburg, died 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at Ferrell Hospital Emergency Room in Eldorado.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. today, July 15, 2000, at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg with the Rev. Harold Williams officiating. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.
John T. Walton
John T. Walton, 65, of Harrisburg, died 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
He was born July 19, 1934, in Spokane, Wash., to Theodore and Florence (Beck) Walton.
He was a personnel manager of the U.S. Forest Service. He was a Catholic by faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Eastern Washington State University. He was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by a brother, Jim Walton, and a sister, Grace Walton, both of Spokane.

Tawnia D. Dunn, 28, of 1105 Taylor Street, Eldorado, died at 5:55 p.m. July 12, 2000, at Harrisburg Medical Center.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. today, July 15, 2000, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. The Rev. Curt Yarbrough will officiate. Visitation was 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery in Harrisburg.
Memorials may be left at the Funeral home for a trust fund for her daughter, Tiffany.
Laverne B. Williams
Mrs. Laverne B. Williams, 85, of West Frankfort, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Marion Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Freda McFarland of Galatia.

Mrs. Clyde E. Wasson
Mrs. Clyde E. Wasson, 99, a resident of Eldorado Care Center, 918 Third St., Eldorado, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Dewey Wasson in October of 1979.
She was born on Feb. 24, 1899, in Steelville, to the late Guy and Louise (Wilthoft) McDonnough.
She attended the Wasson Baptist Church and the Calvary Baptist Church in Eldorado.
Mrs. Wasson was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and worked in Washington D.C. during World War I. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #6010.
Surviving are four sons, Lyndel Wasson of Jasper, Ind., George Wasson of Moose Heart Home in Florida, Robert Wasson of Atlantis, Fla., and Willard Wasson of Norfolk, Va.; three daughters, Jan (Foxie) Wasson of Marina Del Ray, Calif., Eloise Flanigan of Evansville, Ind., and JoAnne Fritts of Mount Carmel; a sister, Madge Elliot of Collinsville; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Howard Lee Wasson, a sister, Gladys Lombardo, and a grandson, Duane Fritts.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. The Eastern Star service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Russell Helton will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn cemetery at Harrisburg.
Memorials may be made to the Wasson Baptist Church or the Calvary Baptist Church in Eldorado.

Services for Walter Evitts, 79, of Route 1, Simpson, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, 1999 at Glendale Methodist Church. The Rev. Tom Richards and the Rev. John Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville and after noon Friday at the church.
Masonic service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for R. B. Oliver, 93, of Norris City, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 1999 at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Barry Winders will officiate and burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery at Eldorado.
