Maude B. Kaegi
Mrs. Maude B. Kaegi, age 102, of Cave-in-Rock, died at 10:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Surviving are two sons, Garcia "Red" Kaegi of Wood River, and Wendell "Slunch" Kaegi of Salem; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Kaegi; and two daughters, Lucille Moore and Beulah Kaegi.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-in-Rock, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Junior Austin will officiate and burial will be in Cave Hill cemetery.
Russell N. Goldman
Services for Russell N. Goldman, 90, of Eldorado, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 1998 at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Barry Winders will officiate and burial will be in Wolf Creek cemetery at Eldorado.
Those who desire may donate to the Star General Baptist Church Building Fund.
A.B. 'Blue' Colbert
Services for A.B. "Blue" Colbert, 86, of Junction, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vickery Funeral Home in Equality, where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Roy Dale Orr will officiate. Burial will be in Colbert cemetery with military rites by the Equality American Legion Post 595.
Dorothy L. (Zimmer) Williams
Services for Mrs. Dorothy L. (Zimmer) Williams, 71, of Herod, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Harrisburg. The Rev. Jack Stallings will officiate and burial will be in Lindale cemetery at Eldorado.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
Ralph M. Wooley
Services for Ralph M. Wooley, 87, of Equality, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Equality Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Ron Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery near Equality.
Friends may call at the Jones Funeral Home in Equality from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Zachary Alexander Landrum
Graveside services for Zachary Alexander Landrum, 4-day-old son of James M. and Paula J. (Brooks) Landrum, of Kansas City, Mo., who died Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, in Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. at the Joyner cemetery at Stonefort.
There will be no visitation and friends should go directly to the cemetery. The Rev. Doug Burkhamer will officiate.
Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills is in charge of the arrangements.

Graveside services for Mrs. Thetna Arnold, 75, of Harrisburg will precede burial in Good Hope cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Mike Davis will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
Gerald V. Braden
Gerald V. Braden, 86, of Galatia, died at 3:27 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado.
He was born on Dec. 12, 1912, in Saline County, to the late John M. and Esta (Carter) Braden.
Mr. Braden retired from Wilson Cabinets after 20 years and was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Harrisburg.
On Nov. 12, 1937, in Moserfield, Ky., he married
the former Kathleen Tate. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Bill Braden of Galatia; two daughters, Wanda Taylor of DeSoto and Debbie Luckey of Crossville, Tenn.; two sisters, Helen Fox of San Francisco, and Elizabeth Nevious of Marion; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandchildren; a great-grandchild, a brother, Marion "Bart" Braden, and a sister, Mildred Cooper.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999 at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, where friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. Joe Colon will officiate and burial will be in Tate's Chapel cemetery.
Mary Maxine 'Jackie' Ward
Mary Maxine "Jackie" Ward, 75, of Galatia, died at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999 at the home of a sister, June Hall of Galatia.
She was born on Oct. 29, 1923, in Saline County, to the late Oval and Marie (Medlin) Hankins.
She had worked at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia for several years and was a member of North America Baptist Church.
Surviving are three brothers, Edward "Bud" Hankins of Harrisburg, Dayton Hankins of Oklahoma, and Charles Hankins of Anna; and two sisters, Norma Thompson and June Hall, both of Galatia.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, and two brothers, Wayne Hankins and Oval Lee Hankins.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999 at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, where friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Roy Hughes and the Rev. Alan Porter will officiate. Burial will be in North America cemetery.
J.T. 'Tommy' Turner
J.L. "Tommy" Turner, 84, of Vienna, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at 9:40 p.m. at the Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
He was born on Nov. 21, 1914 in Mount Vernon, to the late Tom and Bessie (Bradford) Turner.
On Aug. 21, 1935, he married
the former Loreva Love in Shawneetown. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters, B. Jo Burns and Nikki Holloman, both of Vienna; five grandchildren, Heath and Amy Holloman of Vienna, Tricia Turner of Effingham, Trina and Darren Harner of Tunnel Hill, Tammy Turner of Omaha, Neb., and Blaine Holloman of Vienna; two great-grandsons, Seth Holloman and Darrick Harner; two nephews, Jim and Janet Turner of Bloomington, and Victor Lynn and Marsha Turner of Carterville; three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and a great-great-niece.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Turner, and a sister, Clara "Tatty Belle" Eriksen.
Mr. Turner retired in 1972 after 38 years service as an Administrative Assistant with the United States Forest Service.
He was a 1933 graduate of Harrisburg High School. He served in the U.S. Army 4th Division during World War II. He participated in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944 and was involved in every major battle from that date until the end of the war in Europe.
Mr. Turner was a member of the Vienna First Baptist Church, a 50+ year member of the Vienna Masonic Lodge #150 AF&AM;, where he served as secretary for over 30 years. He was a life-member of the Beggs-Gurley VFW Post, Vienna.
He was twice elected mayor of the City of Vienna. He was an avid golfer.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. The Rev. Bill Gholson and Dr. Larry Orange will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post of Anna.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Masonic rites will be conducted Tuesday at 7 p.m. under the auspices of Vienna Masonic Lodge No. 150 AF&AM.;

Mrs. Clyde E. Wasson, 99, a resident of Eldorado Care Center, died at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado.

Edna Ruth Story
Mrs. Edna Ruth Story, 70, formerly of Hardin County, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, in Plainwell, Mich.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1928, in Hardin County, to the late Ollie and Connie (Donithan) Story.
Surviving are three sons, Tim Brush of Plainfield, Larry Brush of Secor, and David Brush of Eureka; a sister, Evelyn Withers of La Crosse, Ind.; four brothers, Wilson Story of Wisconsin, Willard Story of Sebewaing, Mich., Pete Story of Gardner, and LeRoy Story of Sebring, Mich.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda. The Rev. Billy Green will officiate and burial will be in Peters Creek cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Aly Funeral Home in Golconda.
