20-year-old Fairfield resident, Jeremy Tipps died at 1:15 Thursday morning, Oct. 10, 2002 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his parents, Mike and Melissa Tipps of Fairfield and Kathy Perry of Ellery; grandparents, Sharkey and Charlotte Tipps of Fairfield, and Doris Rankin of Fairfield; great-grandparents, Bernadine Rose of Fairfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Ray McWilliams of Albion; and 4 brothers, Jonathan, Jason, Jerrod and Blake Tipps, all of Fairfield.
Services for Jeremy Tipps were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12th at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was after 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11th at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Charles T. Roosevelt
94-year-old former Albion resident, Charles T. Roosevelt of Lawrenceville, IL died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 9th, 2002 at the United Methodist Village, Lawrenceville.
His survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Charles T. Roosevelt were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Edwards County Senior Citizens.

Helen Louise Dunn
89-year-old former Fairfield resident, Helen Louise Dunn died April 18, 2002 in a nursing home in San Jose, Calif.
Survivors include sisters, Eleanor Harrison of Fairfield and Dorothy Gerber of Ft. Myers Fla.
Memorial graveside services for Helen Louise Dunn were Saturday, Oct. 12 at Koontz Cemetery.
There was no visitation.
The Johnson Funeral Home of Fairfield was in charge of all the arrangements.

Daisy Green walt
83-year-old Wayne City resident, Daisy Green walt died at 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 at her home.
Survivors include three sons, Ed of Bluford, Jerry of Wayne City and Bill of Xenia; two daughters, Connie Miller of Mt. Vernon and Bonnie Page of Wayne City; a brother, Dale Medder of Dix and a sister, Edith Brshear of Orchardville. 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Daisy Green walt were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Wayne City Christian Church with burial in the Garrison Temple Cemetery.
Visitation was after 6 p.m. Friday evening, Oct. 11, at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Edward A. Cullison
91-year-old Albion resident, Edward A. Cullison died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10th, 2002 at Meadowood Nursing Home, Grayville, IL.
His survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, Donald and Ronald Cullison and two daughters, Doris Hensley and Donna Dalton all of Albion. Seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survives.
Funeral services for Edward A. Cullison were at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 13 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Nale's Funeral Home in Albion.

Margaret Harris
49-year-old former Fairfield resident,Margaret Harris of West Salem died at 5:45 Wednesday morning, Oct. 9, 2002 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Survivors include her mother, Marcia Gabbard of Fairfield; her husband, Gerald Harris of W. Salem; a daughter, Denise Gertsch of Fairfield and a son, Scott Hodges of Noble; two sisters, Peggy Best of Fairfield and Lois Wesbrock of Arlington, Tx., a brother, Joe Gabbard of Fairfield and four grandchildren.
Services for Margaret Harris were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Visitation was from 6 - 8 Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

James Laws
64 year old Fairfield resident, James Laws, died Wednesday, Oct. 9th, 2002 in Vacaville, California.
Survivors include a sister, Joan Minnick of Vacaville, Calif.
Funeral services for James Laws were at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
There was no visitation.
Nales Funeral Home of Fairfield was in charge of all the arrangements.

Virginia Shuster
86-year-old McLeansboro resident, Virginia Shuster died at 12:15 Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 8, 2002 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital She was a retired seamstress at Decatur Garment Company.
Survivors include her husband, Ed Shuster of McLeansboro; a son, Robert of McLeansboro; a granddaughter, Lisa Rheinecker of St. Louiis; a sister, Lois Hale Hogard of McLeansboro; two sisters-in-law, Edna Eckel of McLeansboro and Ann Shuster of Estro, Fla. plus two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Virginia Shuster were at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the Oddfellow's Cemetery at McLeansboro.
Visitation was from 3 until 8 Thursday evening, Oct. 10, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
Memorials may be made to the Hamilton memorial Hospital.

Carl E. Bowen
83 year old Cisne resident, Carl E. Bowen, died at 4:03 p.m. Saturday, December 21st, 2002 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are his wife Delores; 2 daughters, Carla Bowen of Geff and Mellody Hatcher of Cisne; 4 sons, Bob Bowen of Carmi, Jack Bowen of Eldorado, Cameron Bowen of San Francisco, California and Dustin Bowen of Cisne; 4 sisters, Midred Yonaka of Garland, Texas, Thelma Altadonna of Trenton, Il, Gladys Hamilton of Flora and Marjorie Haver of Austwell, Texas; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 24th at Elmwood Cemetery in Flora.
Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne is in charge of the arrangements.

Scott D. Vickers
41 year old Rt. 1 Dahglren resident, Scott D. Vickers, died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 20th, 2002 at his home.
Surviving are his wife Peggy June Vickers; his mother, Ruth Shirley of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; 2 daughters, Hallie and Jessica both at home; a sister, Cheryl Chagnon of Acworth, Georgia; and 2 brothers, Steve of Lehigh, Florida and Richard of Ft. Myers, Florida.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Sunday, December 22nd at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Burial in Middle Creek Cemetery near Dahlgren.
Visitation was from 5-8 Saturday evening, December 21st at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
