Pauline Louise Wienhoff nee Mooney, 58, of Waterloo, died January 10, 2006, in Belleville. She was born August 16, 1947, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Louis A. and Pauline Rebecca Mooney nee Bevens. She was married to Edward F. Wienhoff. Mrs. Wienhoff is survived by her husband; children Edward J. Wienhoff of Waterloo and Benjamin F. (Leanne) Wienhoff of Waterloo; grandchildren Zachary Wienhoff and Gage Wienhoff; step-grandchildren Brett Marsala and Cameron Whitlock; siblings Thomas (Janet) Mooney of Renault, Theresa Johnson of St. Louis, Janet Hannah of Mascoutah, Louis A. Mooney of Quincy, Michael Mooney of Hillsboro and Matthew Mooney of Quincy; special friends Maxine Zucha of Waterloo, Wilma Barlet of Cahokia and Crystal Chwarczinski of Waterloo; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, nephews Johnnie Mooney and several aunts and uncles. Mrs. Wienhoff attended Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Tipton. She was an operator for Southwester Bell and formerly a longtime employee of Park Street Mini Mart. She was a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her friends Wilma, Maxine and sister Janet Hannah on vacations to Branson and Kentucky. She loved her job and her coworkers. Daniel Joseph Elder, 51, of Imperial, Mo., died January 11, 2006, in Imperial. He was born January 3, 1955, in Columbia, the son of the late George and Zelma E. Elder nee Blechle. Esther E. Schrader nee Lich, 90, of Waterloo, died January 12, 2006, in Belleville. She was born September 6, 1915, in Burksville, the daughter of the late Louis P. and Katharine Lich nee Meier. She married the late Victor E. Schrader in 1939. Mrs. Schrader is survived by her children Karen (John II) Harris of Mascoutah, and Donald (Karen) Schrader of Waterloo; grandchildren John (Chris) Harris III, Toni Harris, Josh Harris, Amy Kolweier, and Mike (Sarah) Kolweier; great-grandchild John ‘Jack’ Harris IV; and nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brothers Elmer (Ella) Lich nee Giffhorn, and Albert (Hilda) Lich nee Schewe. Mrs. Schrader was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Waterloo, where she was in the Women’s Fellowship. She was also a past member of Monroe County Home Extension. Olive ‘Ollie’ M. Bergmann nee Schicker, 88, of Red Bud, died January 13, 2006, in Red Bud. She was born June 28, 1917, in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., the daughter of the late John and Margaret Schicker nee Davitz. She married to the late James Harrod Bergmann in 1935; he preceded her in death in 1981. Mrs. Bergmann is survived by her children Harrod James (Sylvia) Bergmann of Clarksville, Tenn., John Otto (Carol) Bergmann of Perryville, Mo., Katheryn (Bill) Chartrand of Red Bud, and Joyce (Albert) Schaefer of Red Bud; 25 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, three sisters and granddaughter Deborah Ann Chartrand. Mrs. Bergmann was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Red Bud. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Prairie du Rocher, and was past president. She was a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, and a former member of Altar Sodality at St. Joseph. Visitation was at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Red Bud. Emma S. DeBourge nee Steibel, 96, of Prairie du Rocher, died January 13, 2006, in Red Bud. She was born July 24, 1909, in Prairie du Rocher, the daughter of the late August and Leontine Steibel nee Boyer. Mrs. DeBourge is survived by her daughter Betty Schneider of Prairie du Rocher; grandsons Robert (Carolyn) Schneider of Prairie du Rocher and Ronald (Heather) Schneider of Shiloh; great-granddaughter Angela Schneider of Freeport; and sister Theresa Eggemeyer of Albuquerque, N.M. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and son-in-law William Schneider. Mrs. DeBourge was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher. Mary L. Schneider nee Busch, 84, of Columbia, died January 14, 2006, in Belleville. She was born January 18, 1921, in Indianapolis, Ind., the daughter of the late Herbert and Edna Busch nee Koester. She married Kenneth Schneider in 1950; he survives her. Mrs. Schneider is survived by her husband; brother Robert (Betty) Busch of Evansville, Ind., and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Michael C. Bivins, 75, of Waterloo, died January 15, 2006, in St. Louis. He was born December 26, 1930, in Dupo, the son of the late Dallas and Vera M. Bivins nee Secrets. He was married to Carol A. Bivins nee Engel. Mr. Bivins is survived by his wife; children Michael P. (Elizabeth) Bivins of Waterloo, Timothy T. Bivins of Waterloo, Penny (Chuck) Hutchcraft of Waterloo, Tina Bivins of St. Louis, Paul Bivins of Arnold, Mo., and Patrick (Carol) Bivins of Whifefish Bay, Wisc.; 15 grandchildren including Abby and Sonny Bivins of Waterloo; and brothers Paul Bivins of Independence, Mo., and Terry (Judy) Bivins of Dupo. Dorothy V. Chamberlain nee Rasmussen, 81, of Mascoutah, died January 15, 2006, in Dupo. She was born February 1, 1924, in Ainsworth, Neb., the daughter of the late Alfred and Velma Rasmussen nee Steele. She married the late Darl ‘Jerry’ Chamberlain in 1946; he preceded her in death in 1993. Mrs. Chamberlain is survived by her sons Stephen (Denise) Chamberlain of Dupo, and Douglas (Lyn) Chamberlain of Covington, Ga.; step-daughter Kay Ann (David) Troyer of Elkhart, Ind.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother Alfred ‘Bud’ (Marge) Rasmussen of Sun Lake, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Mrs. Chamberlain was active with several churches and church choirs in the area. She was a former first vice-president of the Garden clubs of Illinois and a member of the Mascoutah Garden Club. Visitation was at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah. She was cremated per her wishes. Roy Francis Mudd, 80, of Cuba, Mo., died January 15, 2006, in Cuba. He was born February 20, 1925, in East St. Louis, the son of the late Robert and Mary Mudd nee Collier. Mr. Mudd is survived by his daughters Gail Ann Arnold of Waterloo, Kathy (Richard) Burroughs of Columbia, and Laurie (Richard) VanBuren of Red Bud; grandchildren James (Leanne) Arnold, Matthew (Elisha) Arnold, Kyle (Kasi) Burroughs, and Jonathon VanBuren; great-grandchildren Caroline Arnold and Bryce Burroughs; brother Maurice Mudd, the mother of his daughters Louis Mudd of Waterloo; and a sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Oman Mudd and sister Virginia Kohnz. Mr. Mudd was retired from Schwieder Ford in Steelville, Mo., as a parts and service manager. After retirement he worked at Wagon Wheel Motel with friends Wayne Roberts and Pauline and Harold Armstrong. He lived in Cuba, Mo., for 42 yeas and enjoyed gardening, his black lab and his old cars. Rose Annie Wierschem nee Wuertz, 100, of Waterloo, died January 17, 2006, in Waterloo. She was born January 1, 1906, in Madonnaville, the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Wuertz nee Collette. She was married to the late William A. Wierschem. Mrs. Wierschem is survived by her sisters Alice Welsch of Waterloo and Anne Wuertz of Waterloo, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings John Wiertz, Margaret Dunn, Edward Wuertz, Helen Niemann, Clara Ricker, Joseph Wuertz and Mary Roever.
