90 year old Enfield resident, Aileen Z. Moody, died Friday night, Dec. 12th, 2003 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
Surviving are a sister-in-law, Katie Nelson of Enfield; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15th at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield. Burial in Kitty Sweetin Cemetery.
Visitation was from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14th at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield.
Rosemary Manring
83-year-old Fairfield native, Rosemary Manring died Thursday morning, December 11, 2003 at Dade City Regional Hospital in Dade City Florida.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Shore of San Antonio, Fla., a son, James Bishop of Fairfield; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Rosemary Manring were at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City.

Fred V. Wilkey
54-year-old former Belle Rive resident, Fred V. Wilkey of Mundelein died at 3:50 Wednesday morning, Dec. 10, 2003 at the Condell Memorial Hospital in Libertyville, Ill. He had owned and operated a physician billing service.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilkey, his mother, Kathryn Wilkey; sons, Fred Wilkey III of Water Valley, Mississippi, and Brian Wilkey of Jesup, Georgia; a step-son, Joey Adams of Fort Hood, Texas; brothers, Jeff Wilkey of Alpena, Michiagn, Jack Wilkey of Waxhaw, North Carolina; sisters, Vickey Godwin of Water Valley, Mississippi, and Debbie Lockwood of Omaha, Nebraska. Six grandchildren also survive.
Services for Fred V. Wilkey were at 11 a.m. Monday at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with burial in the IOOF Cemetery at Dahlgren.

Vernest O. "Johnny" Clevenger
86-year-old Fairfield resident, Vernest O. "Johnny" Clevenger died at 7:05 Thursday evening, Dec. 11, 2003 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. A veteran of WW II , he was a longtime postal supervisor at the Fairfield Post Office.
Survivors include hs wife, Colleen of Fairfield; two daughters, Christina Jenner of Tinley Park, Il., and Dee Anne Scherrer of Chula Vista, Calif., three step-daughters, Teresa Elliott of Fairfield, Nancy Walker Blagg of Rockville, Ind., and Janice Hutson of Burnt Prairie; a step-son, Charles Walker of Burnt Prairie; two sisters, Donna Turner of Fairfield and Jennie Taylor of Pine Village, Indiana; a brother, Tice Clevinger of Fairfield, 6 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

Morris "Lucky" Owen
68-year-old Albion resident, Morris "Lucky" Owen died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at Richland Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Olney. He was retired from Champion Laboratories and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

85-year-old Olney resident, Veda F. Fulkerson died at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2003 at Burgin Manor in Olney.
Survivors include three daughters, Clarabell Linden of Olney, Wilma Whitlow of Fairfield and Diane Jobe of Olney, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

69-year-old McLeansboro resident, Jean Savage died at 5:20 Monday evening, Dec. 8, 2003 at the Enfield Healthcare Center. She had been a bookeeper and worked for the former Hindahl Five and Dime Store in McLeansboro.

41 year old Fairfield resident, Larry Harris, died at 10:16 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4th, 2003 at his home.
Surviving are a daughter, Toyzann Harris of Fairfield; 2 brothers, Dewain Harris of Bennington and Scott Harris of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Sheila Simpson of Orlando, Florida; and several aunts and uncles in Fairfield, along with a special friend, Glenda Isle of Fairfield.
A memorial services for Larry D. Harris was held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Holiness Rescue Mission in Fairfield with a private burial to be held later.
There was no visitation.
