77-year-old McLeansboro resident, Doris Prince died at 11:55 Tuesday evening, Oct. 5, 2004 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was a retired secretary for A-1 Tool Service Company and was a past president of the Desk and Derrick Club in Mt. Pleasant, MIchigan.
She was the wife of the late Everett Prince. Survivors include a daughter, Dana L. Hunt of Dale, Il., three sons, Terry L. Prince of West Virginia, Thomas L. Prince of McLeansboro and Duane Prince of Scotts, MIchigan; one sister, Julia Joyce Ratliff of McLeansboro, a brother-in-law, Bill Prince of Carmi; four sisters-in-law, Junaita Henninger of McLeansboro, Maxine Waggoner of Marshall, Il., Betty Swartz of McLeansboro and Peggy Vaupel of Thackery, Il.; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services for Doris Prince were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Enfield Cemetery.

Merle Langley
57-year-old Rt. 3 McLeansboro resident, Merle Langley died at 4:34 Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 5, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He had been a maintenance employee for Hucks Truck Stop in Mount Vernon.
Survivors include his wife, Verla; a son, Merle Edward Langley, II of McLeansboro, daughters, Jane Guthrie and Tina Banks of McLeansboro; brothers, John Langley of DeKalb, Il., and Wayne Langley of McLeansboro; sisters, Barbara Smith of Lincoln, Il., Gloria Butler of Springfield, Il., Helen Reynolds of Mathinson, Miss., and Paula Scott of Troy, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

84-year-old former Mill Shoals resident, Buell C. Puckett of Albany, Georgiadied Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004 at his home.

54-year-old Grayville resident, Steven Jordan died Monday, October 4, 2004 at Wabash General Hospital in Mount Carmel. He was a self-employed mechanic and a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Grayville, his father, Charles Jordan od Grayville; a brother, Don Jordan of Columbus, Ohio; in-laws, Bob and Barbara Munsey of Grayville; three sisters-in-law, Connie Munsey, Mriam Jordan and Marie Munsey; four brothers-in-law, Bobby Dale Munsey, Jr. David Munsey, Greg Hanish and David Hanish; five nieces and nephews, Rachel Wofford, Luke and Derek Jordan, Kimberly and Micael Munsey and a great-nephew, Travis Munsey.

Cleo "Marks" Zollars
82-year-old Olney resident, Cleo Marks Zollars died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004 at her home.

Robert E. "Bob" Chastain
74-year-old rural Carmi resident, Robert E. "Bob" Chastain died Wednesday morning, Oct. 6, 2004 in southeastern Wayne County as the result of a traffic accident. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he was most recently employed as a tugboat opertor on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; his mother, Minnie Denny, his mother-in-law, Margaret Pierson; a son, Kekvin Chastain; a daughter, Gina Brown, all of Carmi; a brother, Don Chastain of Vallejo, Calif., a sister, Emma Daniel of Jasper, Texas, six grandchildren also survive.
