84 year old Mt. Vernon, Indiana resident, Everett Dale Hart, died Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at his home. He was a retired locomotive engineer with L & N Railroad, and was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivng are 3 sons, Victor and Bart both of Evansville, Indiana, and Jim of Fort Branch, Indiana; 2 step-sons, John Hamilton of Henderson, Kentucky and Don Hamilton of Mt. Vernon, Indiana; 3 brothers, Glendel and Jon both of Enfield and Thomas of Leesburgh, Virginia; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Everett Dale Hart were at 3 p.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield. Burial in the Enfield Cemtery, with military rites by the combined Carmi VFW and Carmi American Legion Posts.
Visitation was from from 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5th until the time of service at the Elledge Funeral Home in Enfield.

Eugene P. Tate
87 year old Grayville resident, Eugene P. Tate, died Friday, October 1st, 2004 at Riverpoint Health Campus in Evansville, Indiana. He had worked as a machinist at McCoy Machine Shop in Grayville, and later was self-employed. He was also a WW II Navy Veteran.
Surviving are a son, Sherill Tate of Longview, Texas; a daughter, Marcella Tate of Dallas, Texas; 2 brothers, Virgil Lee Tate of Gurnee, Il. and Willard Tate of California; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Eugene P. Tate were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 5th at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery with military rites at the gravesite.

90 year old Wayne City resident, Lois Newman, died at 2:49 a.m. Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 at her home. She was a retired beautician.
Surviving are a son, Morris of Wayne City; 3 daughters, Marcia Keele, Diana Wood and Patricia Schumm all of Wayne City; a daughter-in-law, Donna Kay Newman of Wayne City; 9 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-great-grandchildren.

89-year-old Ellery resident, Nancy L. Anniss died at 3:24 Thursday morning, Dec. 2, 2004 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney. She was a homemaker and had worked as a clerk at Stewart's Store for 15 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Kate Michels of Ellery, Wilma Pollman of Albion and Alice Fay Hering of Bone Gap; five grandsons, five granddaughters, and 17 great-grandchildren also survive.

90-year-old Cisne resident, Julia B. Malone died at 5:10 Tuesday evening, Nov. 30, 2004 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She had worked at the Meadow Gold Creamery in Muncie, Ind. and later was a bookeeper for the family business - Malone's Front End Alignment in Muncie, Ind.
Survivors include special friends, William and Robin Atwood of Flora, and her extended family, Ira and Wanda Simmons family and several nieces and nephews.
