MATTOON - Wayne A. Bosley, 76, of Mattoon died at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 28, 1999) at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, Mattoon.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in French Cemetery, Allenville. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
He was born Feb. 23, 1923, in Humboldt, the son of Augustus and Goldie Hickley Bosley.
Surviving are one son, Richard E. Bosley of Mattoon; three daughters, Nancy Whiteside of Bloomington, and Vickie Pedigo and Theresa Walters, both of Charleston; two brothers, John Bosley of Mattoon and Woody Bosley of Reno, Nev.; one sister, Emily Brich of Mattoon; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren;
He was preceded in death by one son.
Mr. Bosley was an Army veteran of WW II, and a janitor for the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home, Mattoon.

Edith Davis
MARTINSVILLE - Edith Davis, 92, of Martinsville died at 11 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 28, 1999) at Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Greenwell Funeral Home, Martinsville, with the Rev. Donald Graham officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Martinsville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born April 12, 1907, in Clark County, the daughter of Nathinel Guinn and Mary Serwise Fix. She married Jesse Davis in 1935. He died in 1983.
Surviving are two nephews, Chuck Davis of Martinsville and Burton Davis of Columbus, Ga.; one niece, Elizabeth Nash of Martinsville; special friend, Effie Jane Wallace; and several cousins.
She was also preceded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Davis was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Martinsville, a homemaker, and was retired from TRW in Marshall.
Larry Elliott
NORTH AUGUSTA, SOUTH CAROLINA - Larry Elliott of North Augusta, South Carolina, formerly of Mattoon, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, December 27, 1999 at his home.
He was born December 1, 1939, in Toledo, Ill., the son of Elmer and Erna Elliott. He married Ann Morrison in 1960. She survives.
He is also survived by his mother; one son, Wade and wife Nancy; two daughters, Becky Jones and husband Tim, Jennie Elliott and friend Drew Siemberg; six grandchildren, all of South Carolina; one sister, Luella Gentry and husband Lloyd of Mattoon; five brothers, Don Elliott and wife Bitsy of Mattoon, Gary Elliott and wife Patty of Danville, Ill., Jerry Elliott and wife Billie of Fern Park, Fla., Richard Elliott and wife Karen of Little Elm, Texas, and Randy Elliott and wife Donna of Mattoon; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Elliott and Wanda Nevils; and one brother-in-law, Henry Mann.
He was preceded in death by his father, one sister, Kathryn Mann, and two brothers, Lonnie and Bill.
Visitation will be held in South Carolina. Burial will be at a later date at Elliott Cemetery, Southeast of Neoga, Ill.
Bruce Robert (Bob) Fulwider
Bruce Robert (Bob) Fulwider of Washington C.H. died Tuesday morning December 28, 1999 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus where he had been a patient for one week.
He was born October 20, 1936 in Charleston, Illinois to Bruce and Frances Wasson Fulwider. He attended Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. He was a partner with his father Bruce Fulwider in a Building Contracting Company, a field representative for the Reasor Corporation of Charleston, Illinois, an inventory controller for Armco Steel and a buyer for Airborne Express before retiring in April 1996. He served in the Ohio National Guard and the Air Force Reserve.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother and one sister, Carolyn Sue Easter.
Mr. Fulwider is survived by his wife, Betty Adams Fulwider of Washington C.H., his aunts, Helen Wasson of Washington C.H. and Ethel Driscoll of Charleston, Illinois, step-mother, Helen Fulwider of Hillsboro, step-brother, Gene (Rita) Shrack of Brandon, Florida, one niece, Leighann Easter and by two nephews, Mark and Chris Easter.
Funeral services for Mr. Fulwider will be held on Friday, December 31, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Watts officiating with burial to follow in Highlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
