Christina H. Kaufman

91-year-old Fairfield resident, Christina H. Kaufman died at 1:25 Thursday morning, Jan. 31, 2002 at Wayfair in Fairfield.

Survivors include three sons, Paul of Hammond, Il., Fred of St. Francisville, Il., and Kenneth of Table Grove, Il.; one daughter, Betty Trimborn of Evansville, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Christina H. Kaufman will be 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Fairfield with burial in St. John's Cemetery at Piopolis. Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Sunday evening, Feb. 3 at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.

Darrell McKibben

60-year-old Ellery Resident, Darrell McKibben died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday evening, Jan. 30, 2002 in the Emergency Room at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Janet of Ellery; his mother, Mildred McKibben of Albion; daughters, Tammy Bush of Weston, West Virginia, Robin Williams of Albion, Linda Gentz of Ellery; sons, Allen McKibben of Louiseville, KY, John McKibben of Weston, West Virginia, Douglas Chalcraft of Lynnville, IN; sisters, Marilyn Smith of MIchigan, Kathryn Hall of Clinton, IL; a brother, Galen McKibben of Green sburg, AK, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services for Darrell McKibben will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Ingram Funeral Home with burial at the West Village Cemetery northwest of Albion.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 until the time of service at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.

Memorials may be made to the Edwards County Senior Citizens.

Dolores L. Lee

73-year-old McLeansboro resident, Dolores L. Lee died at 5:48 Wednesday evening, Jan. 30, 2002 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Centralia.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil of McLeansboro, daughters, Marcia Lewis of Mt. Vernon and Trisha Barczewski of Mt. Vernon; sons, Mark Lee of Collinsville, Gary Lee of Belleville, and Greg Lee of Clinton, Mo.

Three brothers, Joe and Ed Mayberry of McLeansboro and Frank Mayberry of Mt. Vernon; a sister, Dorothy Dill of McLeansboro and seven grandchildren.

Services for Dolores L. Lee will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the St. Clement's Catholic Chruch in McLeansboro with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Friday evening, Feb. 1, at the Harre Funeral Home in Mcleansboro with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Carl L. Brooks

77-year-old McLeansboro resident, Carl L. Brooks died at 5:55 Wednesday morning, Jan. 30, 2002, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. A veteran of WW II, he was a retired carpenter and roofer.

Survivors include a son, Barry of McLeansboro, two daughters, Sharon Delmar of Oklahoma, and Carla Brooks of McLeansboro; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

Services for Carl L. Brooks will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the GholsonFuneral Home in McLeansboro with burial in Digby Hill Cemetery near Dale. Military rites will be performed by the American Legion Post 106.

Visitation will be from 5 til 8 Friday evening, Feb. 1, at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.

Helen Louise Dunn

89-year-old former Fairfield resident, Helen Louise Dunn died April 18, 2002 in a nursing home in San Jose, Calif.

Survivors include sisters, Eleanor Harrison of Fairfield and Dorothy Gerber of Ft. Myers Fla.

Memorial graveside services for Helen Louise Dunn will be Saturday, Oct. 12 at Koontz Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The Johnson Funeral Home of Fairfield is in charge of all the arrangements.

Opal G. Cox

89-year-old McLeansboro resident, Opal G. Cox died at 5:20 Monday evening, Oct. 7, 2002 at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. She was a retired cook at the Allerton House at Allerton Park, in Monticello, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Larry Durbin of Ocala, Fla., a daugher, Aloha Andrews of McLeansboro; six grandchildren, including Lawanda Rubenacker of Wayne City; 11 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Services for Opal G. Cox will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, at the Mackey -Wright Funeral home in Monticello. Burial will be in the Bement Cemetery at Bement, Il.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, until the time of service at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home in Monticello.

The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of all the arrangements.

Norma Wohler

69-year-old Fairfield resident, Norma Wohler died at 1:40 Monday afternoon, Oct. 7, 2002 at her home.

Among her survivors is her husband, Gene Wohler; a son, David Wohler of Sparks, Nevada; two daughters, Debbie Wohler of Tahoe City, CA and Judy Wilson of Springfield, IL; two brothers, Clarence Koontz of Dolton, IL and Finis Geen Koontz of Belleville, IL.

Funeral services for Norma Wohler will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 10 at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield with burial at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening, Oct. 9, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

George McClellan

68-year-old Geff resident, George McClellan died at 11:15 Sunday evening, Feb. 20, 2005, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Funeral services for George McClellan are pending at Nales Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Alberta Blanch Kronmiller

82 year old Carmi resident, Alberta Blanch Kronmiller, died Friday, March 4th, 2005 at White County Medical Center in Carmi.

Surviving are 2 sons, Donald and Dennis both of Carmi; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Alberta Blanch Kronmiller will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 7th at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi. Burial in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi.

Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, March 6th at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi.

Memorials may be made to Cherry Street General Baptist Church and will be accepted at the Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi.

James M. Allison

84-year-old Fairbury, Ill. resident, James M. Allison died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Evenglow Nursing Home in Pontiac, Ill. A veteran of WW II, he had worked as a geologist for Texaco.

Survivors include his wife, Claudine, a son, Michael and his wife Siri of Beacon, New York; a sister, Barbara Shephard of Gryayilve, two grandchildren and five nieces.

Funeral services for James M. Allison will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Bethel Methodist Church near Ellery with burial in Graceland Cemetery at Albion.

Visitation will be from 5 til 8 Friday, March 4, at Nales Funeral Home in Albion which is in charge of all the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association c/o Evenglow Inn, 1200 Evenglow Lane, Pontiac, IL 61764.

Freda Byram

82-year-old former West Salem resident, Freda Byram of Olney died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Burgin Manor in Olney.

Survivors include a sister, Norma Jean Wortman of Reno, Nevada and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services for Freda Byram will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Parkersburg. There will be no visitation. The Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem is in charge of all the arrangements.

Donald Warren

75-year-old Fairfield resident, Donald Warren died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 2nd, 2005 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He had been an oilfield worker.

Survivors include two soons, Donald Warren, Jr. of Robinson and Kevin Dale Warren of Phoenix, Az; a daughter, Vickie Gail Wampler of Robinson; sisters, Ruth Warren of Olney and Phyllis Amerman of Elkhart, Indiana; brothers, Bud Warren of Fairfield, Jerry Warren of Indianapolis, Ind., and Bill Warren of Olney; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Donald Warren will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5 at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Crest Haven Cemetery at Olney.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Friday, March 4, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Walter Truitt

46-year-old Albion residient, Walter Truitt died at 8:40 Tuesday evening, March 1, 2005, at his home.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; two daughters, Samantha White of Lawrenceville, Christina Ray of West Salem; mother-in-law, Barbara Haycraft; one brother, Dennis Clark of Evansville, IN; one sister, Teresa Saltsgaver of Lawrenceville, and three grandchildren.

Services for Walter Truitt will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at the Ingram Funeral Home in Albion. Bural at Marion Cemetery in rural West Salem.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.
