91-year-old Fairfield resident, Christina H. Kaufman died at 1:25 Thursday morning, Jan. 31, 2002 at Wayfair in Fairfield.
Survivors include three sons, Paul of Hammond, Il., Fred of St. Francisville, Il., and Kenneth of Table Grove, Il.; one daughter, Betty Trimborn of Evansville, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.

60-year-old Ellery Resident, Darrell McKibben died at 5:10 p.m. Wednesday evening, Jan. 30, 2002 in the Emergency Room at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Janet of Ellery; his mother, Mildred McKibben of Albion; daughters, Tammy Bush of Weston, West Virginia, Robin Williams of Albion, Linda Gentz of Ellery; sons, Allen McKibben of Louiseville, KY, John McKibben of Weston, West Virginia, Douglas Chalcraft of Lynnville, IN; sisters, Marilyn Smith of MIchigan, Kathryn Hall of Clinton, IL; a brother, Galen McKibben of Green sburg, AK, 11 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services for Darrell McKibben will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Ingram Funeral Home with burial at the West Village Cemetery northwest of Albion.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 until the time of service at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion.

77-year-old McLeansboro resident, Carl L. Brooks died at 5:55 Wednesday morning, Jan. 30, 2002, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon. A veteran of WW II, he was a retired carpenter and roofer.
Survivors include a son, Barry of McLeansboro, two daughters, Sharon Delmar of Oklahoma, and Carla Brooks of McLeansboro; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.
