CHARLESTON - William Oscar Level, 88, of Champaign died at 6:15 p.m. Monday (June 26, 2000) at Carle Arbour Nursing Center, Savoy.
The funeral will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Markwell Funeral Chapel in Westfield, with the Rev. Roger Ross officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Westfield. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel in Westfield.
He was born April 10, 1912, in Coles County, the son of James Otis and Mary Edna Ashby Level.
He married Mary E. Drake in 1936; she died in 1994.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Level of Champaign, and one sister, June Bowerman of Calvert City, Ky.
He was also preceded in death by one son and two brothers.
Mr. Level was a building contractor and a World War II army veteran. He was a member of the OSS, the Westfield Baptist Church, Westfield, and the Mattoon Carpenters Union No. 347 for over 59 years.
William McBride
WESTFIELD - William R. McBride, 71, of Westfield died at 1:04 p.m. Tuesday (June 27, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

William Moore
PHILO - William L. "Jim" Moore, 89, of Philo, formerly of rural Palestine, died at 12:12 p.m. Monday (June 26, 2000) at the home of his daughter in Philo.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel in West Union, with the Rev. George Meese officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, north of Palestine. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral chapel.
He was born July 23, 1910, in Crawford County, the son of John E. and Edith Jordan Moore.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Mia) Hasler of Philo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Mr. Moore was retired from Carday Associates of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Clark County American Legion Post No. 90 at Marshall, the Elks Lodge No. 911 of Sullivan, Ind., and Heat and Frost Asbestos Workers Local 18 at Indianapolis, Ind.

Daisy Rauch
SULLIVAN - Daisy T. Jeffers Rauch, 91, of Sullivan, died at 6:20 p.m. Monday (June 26, 2000) in the Illinois Masonic Home, Sullivan.
A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, in Camfield Cemetery, Sullivan, with the Rev. Mike Brandenburger officiating. There will be no visitation. The Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born March 15, 1909, the daughter of Harrison and Mary Howe Jeffers.
She married Frank H. Rauch 1929; he died in 1989.
Surviving are two sons, Bill and Robert Rauch, both of Sullivan; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Price of Sullivan and Mrs. Sharon Jones of Lovington; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Mrs. Rauch was retired from the Brown Shoe Company, Sullivan.

CASEY - John E. Williams, 83, of Casey, died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday (June 27, 2000) at Heartland Manor Nursing Center in Casey.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home, Casey, with the Rev. Dan Bell officiating. Burial with graveside military rites will be held in Washington Street Cemetery, Casey. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 19, 1916, in Freelandville, Ind., a son of Claude and Mary Prisille McRae Williams.
He married Carolyn I. Garrett in 1960; she survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Cindy Ingram of Ridge Farm; one stepdaughter, Phyllis Dunn of Casey; three sons, John Williams Jr. of Toledo, David Williams of Hutsonville and Robert Williams of Demotte, Ind.; one stepson, Lee Duckworth of Toledo; four brothers, Harvey and Walter Williams of Washington, Ind., Donald Williams of Fergus Falls, Minn., and Glendon Williams; five sisters, Faye Meeker of Robinson, Shirley Speth of Vincennes, Norma Lucas of Hanover, Ind., Glenda Lamb and Imogene Morri; 9 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Mr. Williams was a World War II and Korean War army veteran. He was a retired farm hand.
Mildred C. Andrews
ARKADELPHIA, AR. - Mildred C. Andrews, 91, of Arkadelphia, AR, formerly of Ashmore and Charleston, died Friday, June 23, 2000, died at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia, AR.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Caudill-King Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Hardway officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Mattoon. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 9, 1908, in Seven Hickory Township, the daughter of James W. and Grace Jarvis Hardway.
She married James Andrews in 1928; he died in 1982.
Survivors include three sons, William L. Andrews and wife Grace of Lincoln, Neb., Charles T. Andrews and wife Mary of Fredricksburg, TX, and James Andrews and wife Becky of Arkadelphia, AR; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Ashmore First Presbyterian Church and attended the First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia. She was also a member of the Ashmore Order of Eastern Star.

Mae Geffs
ROBINSON - Mae Geffs, 87, of Oblong, died at 9:10 a.m. Monday (June 26, 2000) at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 30, 1912, in Moonshine, the daughter of James A. and Lou Ella Bennett Smith.
She married James Bruce Geffs in 1934; he died in 1963.
Surviving are one son, Paul Geffs of Oblong; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, one sister and a granddaughter.
Mrs. Geffs was a homemaker and a member of the Walnut Chapel Church of Christ.
Vikki Hutson
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Vikki Lemons Hutson, 28, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., formerly of Charleston, died Sunday (June 25, 2000) at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, Tenn., from injuries sustained in an accident.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Joe Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Coffee County, Tenn. Visitation will be 5 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.
She was born in Charleston, the daughter of James B. and Frances Oween Beach Lemons.
She married Chris Hutson; he survives.
Also surviving are her parents of Manchester, Tenn.; three sisters, Cathy Clough of Mattoon, Cindy Kuhn of Chicago and Connie Buckner of Manchester, Tenn.; a brother, Terry Wayne Lemons of Charleston; and her grandmother, Thelma Lemons of Manchester, Tenn.
Mrs. Hutson was a dental hygienist.
