KANSAS - Julia Esther Allen, 84, of Kansas, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 13, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Sutton and Son Funeral Home in Paris, with the Rev. Dean Speece officiating.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Paris.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 14, 1916, in Warrington, the daughter of Clinton James and Minnie Belle McConnaha England.
She married Frank Notley Allen in 1937; he died in 1986.
Survivors include a son, George Clinton "Pete" Allen of Richton Park; a daughter, Mrs. Warren (Julia) Welpott of Anderson, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the Kansas Presbyterian Church.
Gerry Brumleve
CHARLESTON - Gerry T. Brumleve, 76, of Charleston, died Aug. 15, 2000, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston with the Rev. Bill Hall and Pastor Tom Skinner officiating. Adams Funeral Chapel, Charleston, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Carle Clinic Cancer Center in care of the funeral chapel.
Marion Loraine "Billie" Bean
MATTOON - Marion Loraine "Billie" Bean, age 72, of Mattoon, passed away 8:44 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2000 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 16, 2000 at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Marion Loraine Bean was born April 12, 1928 of New Rockford, North Dakota, a daughter of William and Gladys (Frank) Mowery.
She married Kenneth L. Bean July 23, 1953 at Camden, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Bean of Mattoon, a daughter, Sue Davis and her husband Jerry of Wildwood, Florida; a sister, Marlys Shepanik of Schofield, Wisconsin.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Angie Wood and her husband Jim of Quincy, Joe Thomas of Hawaii and Nick and Mandy Thomas of Mattoon and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Mrs. Bean was a member of Gays Christian Church and the Ladies of the Moose.
She was a retired employee of Associated Springs and had been a Mary Kay Cosmetics consultant for the past eleven years.

Lewis Spears
DANVILLE - Lewis William "Bill" Spears, 49, of Muncie, Indiana, formerly of Danville, Illinois passed away at 8:51 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2000 in Ball Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
"Bill" was born the son of Francis Douglas and Patricia L. Swift Spears on November 17, 1950 in Danville, Illinois.
He was formerly married to Diane Rudd.
"Bill" is survived by his mother, Patricia Spears of Covington, IN; his two children: Gregory William Spears of Charleston, IL and Barbi Christene Spears of Muncie, IN.
Other survivors include; Two Brothers: F. Joseph Spears of Torrington, WY, and Matthew Stuart (Joan) Spears of Oviedo, Fl; Six Sisters: Kathleen (Gene) Castellarri of Arvada, CO, Coletta Cohen of Moraga, CA, Mary Rosalind (Jerry ) Watson of Rob Roy, IN, Marie Eaina (Scott) Fletcher of Ventura, CA and Mary Maristella "Stella" Spears of Arvada, CO.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers."Bill" attended the University of Maryland and Purdue University. He also attended the Institute For Forging Die Design. He was an Aerospace Engineer and Computer Analyst for Portland Forging in Portland, Indiana. "Bill" really loved life, and had a gentle sense of humor. He enjoyed computers and shopping on the Internet. He was a member of several professional organizations and clubs relating to his career as well as being an acknowledged member of the DeLorean Car Club of America. He had designed forging for many different types of items. "Bill" also loved his two cats; "Pippen" a Turkish Angora and "Camby" a Calico.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 16, 2000 at 10:00 A.M. at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday September 15, 2000 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

John Gaeta
MATTOON - John Joseph Gaeta, 51, of Mattoon, formerly of Las Vegas and Port Washington, N.Y., died at 2 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 10, 2000) at Mattoon Health Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 23 at the Austin F. Knowles Funeral Home, Port Washington, N.Y.
Inurement will be in Nassau Knolls Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to time of service. The Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Mineola, N.Y., the son of Joseph John and Cynthia Floherty Gaeta.
He married Linda Scarabino in 1981; she survives.
Also surviving is one sister, Grace Nunn of Sullivan.
Mr. Gaeta was a professional musician and toured with the Jimmy Dorsey Band. He was a member of the Fatima Catholic Church, Port Washington, N.Y.

Bruce E. Gough
KANSAS - Bruce Edward Gough, 61, of Kansas, died at 6 a.m. Tuesday (Sept. 12, 2000) at his residence.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Kansas Christian Church. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. The Sutton and Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He was born July 20, 1939, in Kansas, IL, the son of Frank and Martha Lee (Gillis) Gough.
He married Dixie Lee Motley on Aug. 18, 1963, in Kansas, IL.; she survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Martha Lee Gough of Kansas, IL; three sons, James Bruce Gough of Ashmore, IL, Richard Duane Gough of Champaign, IL, and Brian Edward Gough and his wife Julie of Ashmore, IL; daughter, Cassie Caprice Gough a student at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN; brothers, Arlie Gough of Kansas, IL and Bert Gough of Charleston, IL; two grandchildren, Grayson Edward and Gretchen Diane Gough, both of Ashmore, IL.
Mr. Gough was a retired farmer and former partner at Gough Chevrolet. He attended Eastern Illinois University, he served as Sergeant in U.S. Army Reserve, was a member of the Kansas Christian Church, Kansas Lodge #280 A.F. & A.M.; Danville Scottish Rite Consistory; Edgar County Farm Bureau.

Mr. Cloyce Eugene Hutson, age 78, of Greenup, IL passed away at 7:30 a.m. - Monday, September 11, 2000 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Danville, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 P.M. Thursday September 14, 2000 at Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, Illinois. With Rev. Marvin Oakley officiating, burial will be in the Greenup Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2000 at Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup, Illinois.
Cloyce was born August 14, 1922 the son of Henry Austin and Mayme Lucille (Coad) Hutson.
Cloyce married Ruby La Verne Shofner July 13, 1941 in Louisville, Ky.
Cloyce was a member of the Greenup United Methodist Church and Past President of The Cumberland Co. National Farm Organization, also a Past member of Carpenters Local #133 of Terre Haute, IN, Past member of the Greenup Kiwanis Club, and Member of The Democrat Club, and Founding member of the Cumberland Co. Sportsmen Club, And a Life member of The Greenup VFW post #4598.
Cloyce was a Self-Employed Carpenter and Farmer and U.S. Army Veteran serving in the European Theater during WW II.
Cloyce is survived by his wife Ruby L. Hutson of Greenup, IL; Sons Bill and Wife Martha of Franklin, Tenn. and Jim and Wife Avis of Sherman, Tx; Daughters Sue and Husband Mike Bauguss of Greenup, IL,
Terry Webb and Special Friend Gary Ettchason of Effingham, IL, and Trudy Carlen and Special Friend Dan Green of Greenup, IL; Brother Russell and wife Esther Hutson of Teutopolis IL; 11 Grandchildren, 4 Step-Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; and 3 Step Great-Grandchildren.
Cloyce was preceded in death by his Parents, 1 Brother, 2 Sisters, and Son-in-Law.
Tony Snyder
O'FALLON, Mo. - Tony R. Snyder, 34, of O'Fallon, Mo., died Monday (Sept. 11, 2000) at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Mo.
The funeral will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in O'Fallon, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1965, in Tuscola, the son of Billie and Carolyn Snyder.
He married Angela Snyder; she survives.
Also surviving are his parents of Arcola; one son, Michael Snyder of O'Fallon, Mo.; two daughters, Michaela and Megan Snyder, both of O'Fallon, Mo.; and three brothers, Mick Snyder of Arcola, Don Snyder of Thompsonville and Neil Snyder of Mattoon.
Mr. Snyder was a sales representative for Schrock Cabinets H. and S. Sales for 16 years in O'Fallon, Mo.

Ruth Winger
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Ruth McKimmy Winger, 85, of Terre Haute, Ind., formerly of West Union, died at 10:40 p.m. Monday (Sept. 11, 2000) at the Royal Oaks Healthcare Center in Terre Haute, Ind.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Prust-Hosch Funeral Chapel in West Union with the Rev. Richard Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the York Cemetery, southeast of West Union. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today and before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born March 14, 1915, in Jasper County, the daughter of Clarence and Alva McKimmy and Mary Gladys Carter McKimmy.
She married Horace E. Winger; he died in 1978.
Surviving are three daughters, Martha Heath, Fay McIntosh and Kay Harrison, all of Terre Haute, Ind.; two brothers, George McKimmy of Terre Haute, Ind., and Charles McKimmy of Palestine; three sisters, Roseanne Freeman of Hutsonville, Mary Mechling of Stewardson and Bonnie Carter of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Winger was a homemaker and had also worked many years as a cook at restaurants.
