LOVINGTON - Robert (Bob) W. Breedlove, 83, of Lovington, died at 11:35 am. October 29, 2000, in his home with his family.
Services will be Wednesday, November 1, 2000 at 1:30 pm. in the McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Lovington.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 pm.-8 pm. in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery, Arcola, IL. with military rites.
Memorials: Lovington Ambulance or Lovington Medical Center Fund.
Mr. Breedlove was born July 16, 1917, in Oilfield, IL, the son of Lannes and Icif Willis Breedlove.
He served in the Army during WW II from 1942 to 1945 as a radar operator/repairman. (Stationed in Italy).
He was the owner/operator of the Lovington Lumber Company from 1953 to 1980. He was a charter member of the Lovington Kiwanis Club.
He married Eleanor Mae Jones on February 14, 1942, in Arcola. She preceded him in December 1970.
He then married Linda Creek on October 2, 1971.
He is survived by his wife; Linda of Lovington; sons, Richard (Dick) Breedlove of Lovington, David Breedlove and wife Rosanna of Arthur, David Creek and wife Velma of Cadwell; daughters, Meta Creek of Lovington, Sheila Price and husband Steve of Atwood, Cynthia Wiseley and husband Steve of Mt. Vernon. Four grandchildren; Zack Price, Kristina and Aaron Wiseley, Alicia Creek; Nephews, Wayne Tolen and wife Carolyn of Danville; Gene Tolen and wife Irene of Winterhaven, Ca.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, sister, nephew, and a granddaughter.
Bob was a well-known collector and restorer of antique radios.
Jill Brosam
SULLIVAN - Jill DeeRae Brosam, 43, of Sullivan, died at 10:40 am on Saturday, October 28, 2000 at her home.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan.
Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5pm until 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the New Life Tabernacle or the Moultrie County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
Jill was born April 11, 1957 in Mattoon, IL, the daughter of Joe G. and Pat Sowers Huddleston.
She was co-owner of Elzy's Flowers and Gifts in Sullivan with her husband John for 22 years, and was a member of the New Life Tabernacle, Sullivan and various flower associations.
She married John Michael Brosam September 23, 1978 in Mattoon.
He survives along with daughter, Karissa Lyn Brosam at home, her parents, Joe and Pat Huddleston of Mattoon, brothers, Jeff Huddleston and wife Julie of Neoga, Jon Huddleston and friend Cora of Mattoon, a sister, Jan Osborn and husband Ozz (Jim) of Mattoon.
Several nieces and nephews and a special friend and employee Shirley Lindley also survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Jill was a very special person that will be missed dearly by so many friends and family.
Vivian Ebardt
MATTOON - Vivian M. Ebardt, age 87, of Mattoon, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2000 at the Odd-Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with the Reverend EthelMae Champ officiating.
Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cooks Mill.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born April 24, 1913 in Mattoon, the daughter of Albert and Lenora Herzog Ebardt.
Surviving are five sisters, Anna L. "Polly" Miller of Mattoon, Ruth Grimm of Humboldt, Hope Turner of Neoga, Mrs. William (Patricia) Cooney of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. David (Jackie) Daily of Mattoon; and special niece, Mrs. Madonna Hutchinson of Crawfordsville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
Vivian was a school teacher for the Mattoon Community schools for 46 years before retiring in 1978. She was a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Masters Degree in Education. Miss Ebardt was Past President of the Coles County Retired Teacher's Association and the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority. She was a member of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association and former member of the Mattoon Art Club.
Doris Houston
Doris Jean Houston 70, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 1:45 AM Sunday Oct. 29, 2000 in the Rebekah Fellowship Center in Mattoon.
Mrs. Houston was born Nov. 25, 1929 in Shelby County the daughter of Edgar and Bessie Andrews Martin.
She was a longtime Employee of Reider's Cafe in Shelbyville and Mr. Doughnut in Mattoon.
She was a member of the Central Community Church of Mattoon.
Besides her family and friends, her two greatest joys were Bingo and "The Chicago Cubs".
She married Truman "Toad" Houston in June of 1948 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1956.
Surviving are daughters Janet Gill of Shelbyville and Donna Walker and husband Hal of Sullivan, IL; one son William "Bill" Houston and wife Melissa of Charleston, IL; sisters Mary Ellen Hutton of Gays, IL, Elsie Zindel of Macon, IL and Patsy Martin of Mattoon, IL granddaughters: Robin, Joy and Heidi Ann all of Charleston, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday Nov. 1, 2000 in Lockart and Sons Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville.

Doris Misenheimer
MATTOON - Doris E. Misenheimer, 62, of Mattoon, died at 6 p.m. Friday (Oct. 27, 2000) at Convalescent Care Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenhill Cemetery in Sullivan with the Rev. Lana Robyne officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor.
She was born Dec. 22, 1937 in Sullivan, the daughter of Ralph and Flossie Aldredge Misenheimer.
Surviving are one brother, Don Misenheimer of Dale, Ind. and five sisters, Mildred Smith of Bethany, Mary Cox of Pana, Jean Aylward of St. Petersburg, Fla., Deana Kutz of Sullivan, and Louise Hanners of Arcola.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Ms. Misenheimer was formerly employed by the Moultrie County Beacon.
Millard Moses
PONTIAC - Millard T. Moses, 89, of Pontiac, formerly of Shelbyville, died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 26, 2000) at St. James Hospital in Pontiac.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Howe & Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville with the Dr. Bruce Owens officiating.
Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery with military rites.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born Sept. 5, 1911 in Toledo, the son of George Elmer and Minnie Griffith Moses.
He married Dorothy Margaret Fields in 1941. She died in 1986.
Surviving are one son, Charles T. Moses of Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Barbara Swanson of Pontiac and Karen McKenna of Wiesbaden, West Germany; and four grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Mr. Moses was a retired banker and U.S. Army veteran of WW II.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville and treasurer and board member of the Shelby County Chapter of the American Red Cross.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or Alzheimer Building Fund of Evenglow Lodge, Pontiac.
Jill Robertson
WATSON - Jill R. Robertson, 22, of Watson, formerly of Westervelt, died at 1:26 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 29, 2000) near Effingham.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Howe & Yockey Funeral Home in Shelbyville with the Rev. E. Wade Helmkamp officiating.
Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 12, 1977 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Brent and Janet Rhodes Robertson.
Surviving are her parents of Westervelt; one brother, Josh Robertson of Westervelt; one sister, Jessica Robertson and fiance Chris Boyer of Watson; grandparents, Bobby and Doris Robertson of Westervelt, Oral Rhodes of Shelbyville, Imogene England of Taylorville, and Harold Askins of Shelbyville; and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by two uncles, two aunts and great-grandparents.
Miss Robertson was employed at Lender's Bagel Factory in Mattoon and was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Shelbyville.
She was a 1996 graduate of Shelbyville High School.
Clarence Steineman
Clarence A. Steineman, age 91, of Mattoon, passed away at 10:25 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2000, at the Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
Funeral services celebrating his life will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Schilling Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce D. Osborne officiating, assisted by the Reverend Del Nack.
Burial will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon until service time on Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
Clarence was born at Shumway on May 28, 1909, the son of John and Minnie Wagner Steineman.
He married Ruby Mueller at Stewardson on June 20, 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby Steineman of Mattoon; three God-children, Denise Allen of Nokomis, Dennis Storm of Hillsboro and Joann Matteson of Oconomowac, Wisconsin.
Mr. Steineman was a retired truck driver with the Union 705 in Chicago. He also worked for Lorenz Wholesale in Mattoon.
He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Mattoon and the St. John's Men's Club at the church.
Memorial gifts are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Clara Harbarger
BETHANY - Clara V. Harbarger, 70, of Bethany died at 8:22 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 26, 2000) at Eastview Terrace, Sullivan.
There will be no visitation or services.
Burial will be in St. Isidore Cemetery, Bethany. Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Milmine, the daughter of Vernon A. and Elizabeth Fuqua Berry.
She married Muryl Harbarger; he preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Connie Porter of Decatur and Bonnie Reedy of Lovington; two sisters, Imogene Beachy of Bethany and Lilly Evans of Lafayette, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one sister.
Mrs. Harbarger was a homemaker.
