Services are pending at the Shrader Funeral Home in Arthur.
Lora Judson
GREENUP - Lora O. Judson, 84, of Greenup, died at 4:25 a.m. Sunday (Dec. 10, 2000) at the Cumberland Nursing Center in Greenup.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Independent Bible Believers Church in Greenup with the Rev. Tom Meachum officiating.
Burial will be in Tippett Cemetery in rural Toldeo.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Barkley Funeral Home in Greenup.
She was born June 12, 1916 in Diona, the daughter of George and Sarah Rutan Pearcy.
She married Halsey Judson in 1926. He died in 1995.
Surviving are one son, David Judson of Greenup, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters.
Mrs. Judson was a homemaker and member of the Independent Bible Believers Church in Greenup.
Victor Sanders
ARCOLA - Victor Alex Sanders, 84, of Arcola, died at 12:05 p.m. Sunday (Dec. 10, 2000) at the Arthur Home.
Arrangements are incomplete at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola.
Pearl Thompson
PARIS - Pearl Thompson, 71, of Paris, died at 6:25 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 9, 2000) at the Paris Community Hospital.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Pearce Funeral Home in Marshall with the Brother Glenn Arbuckle officiating.
Burial will be in Marshall Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday and at 7 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 18, 1928 in Martinsville, the daughter of Russell Shelby and Aileen Bowen Craig.
She married Frank E. Thompson in 1946. He died in 1999.
Surviving are five daughters, Jane A. Dennison, Wanda J. Overaker, Lisa A. Norman, and Brenda L. Thompson, all of Paris and Susan A. Martin of Mattoon; two sons, Jerry E. Thompson and Robert E. Thompson, both of Paris; three brothers, Delbert Craig of West Springfield, Pa., Ferrell Craig and Kenny Craig, both of Casey; one sister, Rose King of Naples, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one sister, two brothers and one grandchild.
Mrs. Thompson was retired from TRW in Marshall.
Frances Foley
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Frances M. Foley, 83, of Scottsdale, Ariz., died Friday (Dec. 8, 2000).
Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday with Rosary at 7 p.m. in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Mass will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Scottsdale.
She was born Sept. 11, 1917, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Surviving are three sons, Frank C. Foley of Mesa, Ariz., William R. Foley of Glendale, Ariz., and Ralph W. Foley of Mattoon; one daughter, Catherine J. Lutz of York, Pa.; one brother, Paul Sever of Palm Coast, Fla.; two sisters, Anna Sismour of Virginia and Genevieve Panchack of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Hugh Lunger
CHRISMAN, IL - Mr. Hugh Lunger, age 88, of 325 N. Alabama St., Chrisman, Illinois died at 11:36 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2000 in the United Samaritans Medical Center Logan Campus Danville, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in the Smith Funeral Home Paris, Illinois.
Visitation will be on Monday from noon to the time of service.
Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery Chrisman, Illinois.
Officiating will be Pastor Kevin Coe.
Memorials may be made to the Chrisman Fire Dept. or Pleasant Meadows Christian Village.
Mr. Lunger was born August 15, 1912, in Chrismas, Illinois the son of Vern Lunger and Josie Wallace Lunger.
He married Cleo Stultz and she preceded him in death.
Surviving relatives include: Sons, Jerry Lunger of Chrisman, Illinois and Jim Lunger of LasVegas, Nevada; Daughter, Shirley Lorenzen of Chrisman, Illinois; Sister: Emmallee Biggs of Crawfordsville, Indiana; 6 Grandchildren; 12 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 infant sister
.Mr. Lunger was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chrisman, a member of the Chrisman Fire Dept., a retired board member of the City of Chrisman and retired as a heavy Equipment Operator.
He also was a life long resident of Chrisman.
Caleb Mast
ARTHUR - Caleb Lynn Mast, infant son of Troy Lynn and Lisa Lagene Kauffman Mast, was stillborn at 10:36 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 7, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral was Friday at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, rural Arcola, with the Rev. Lloyd Gingerich officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery.
The Edwards Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Caleb is survived by his parents of Arthur; one brother, Brady Reese Mast, at home; grandparents, Glen and Sue Mast of Arthur, and Dale and Louis Kauffman of Arthur; and great-grandparents, Dan and Gerti Mast of Arthur, Levi and Mary Kauffman of Arthur, and Jonas and Gertie Plank of Arthur.
Kenneth Shockley
ARTHUR - Kenneth Roger Shockley, 56, of Arthur, died at 5:44 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 7, 2000) at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Arthur.
Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He was born May 4, 1944, in Decatur, the son of Hardy and Pauline Jent Shockley.
Surviving are one son, Chad Eric Shockley O'Kelley of Decatur; two daughters, Teri Jo Alexander of Arthur and Jenny Shockley Mendenhall of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Brenda Likens of Arthur; one half sister, Cindy Brinkley of Atwood; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Shockley was a woodworker.
Leon Bailey
EFFINGHAM - Leon Bailey, 82, of Effingham, died at 9:37 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 6, 2000) at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, with the Rev. Don Russell officiating.
Burial with military rites will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, south of Martinsville.
Graveside military rites will be performed by the Casey VFW Post 5762 and the Hazel Dell American Legion Post 1230.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born July 22, 1918, in Martinsville, the son of Roscoe Olen Bailey and Trixie Leohr Bailey.
He married Evelyn Nash in 1939; she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Randall Bailey of Effingham; one sister, Delores Fisher of Shelbyville; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Bailey was retired from Getty Oil Company where he worked as a production foreman.
He was Navy World War II veteran and a 50-year member of the Edgewood Masonic Lodge No. 484, a 32nd Degree Mason, and a member of the Danville Consistory and the Effingham American Legion Post No. 0120.
Donald Hanken
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE, Ark. - Donald R. Hanken, 71, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., died Tuesday (Dec. 5, 2000) in an Arkansas Hospital.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Faith Lutheran Church, in Hot Springs Village, Ark., with Pastor Leslie Weerts officiating.

He was born March 10, 1929, in Chicago, the son of Henry and Lillian (Vanderlinden) Hanken.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hanken of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; two sons, Robert and his wife Margaret Hanken of Scottsdale, Ariz. and James Hanken of Humboldt, IL; two daughters, Janet and her husband Robert Nelson of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Mabel and her husband Marcelo Giralda of Santiago, Chili; three sisters, Ruth Hagen of Oak Forest, IL, Helen and her husband Fred Schnoor of Hemet, CA and Francis Ravetto of Hinsdale, IL; six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Ralph Hanken and one sister, Henrietta McNicholas.
Mr. Hanken was affiliated with the Faith Lutheran Church and a member of Gideons International.
