CHARLESTON - Allene B. Drury, 91, of Charleston died at 6:25 a.m. Saturday (Dec. 2, 2000) at Hilltop Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home with the Rev. Alan Baker and the Rev. Bill Boaz officiating.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
She was born April 30, 1919, in Coles County, the daughter of Ralph and Flora Reynolds Best.
She married Lewis Everett Drury in 1939.
He died in 1991.
Surviving are five sons, John Drury of Branson, Mo., William Drury of Sullivan, Paul Drury of Charleston, Ralph Drury of Warner Robins, Ga., and David Drury of Danville, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Drury was a member of the Farmington Southern Baptist Church.

Marjorie Hildreth
MATTOON - Marjorie D. Hildreth, 95, of rural Mattoon died at 6:40 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 2, 2000) at Mattoon Health Care Center.
The graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dodge Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. John P. Besore III officiating.
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 28, 1905, in Loxa, the daughter of Elmer F. and Martha Anderson Defenbaugh.
She married Everett "Ted" Hildreth in 1923.
He died in 1957.
Surviving are four sons, Robert D. Hildreth, William B. Hildreth and A. Gene Hildreth, all of Mattoon, and James Hildreth of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Nancy Fisher of Bourbon, Ind.; 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Hildreth was employed as a baker for Mattoon High School and was a member of the Loxa Presbyterian Church.
Helen HuntCASEY - Helen R. Hunt, 55, of Casey died at 10:51 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 2, 2000) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home in Casey with the Rev. Brooke Davis officiating.
Burial will be in Casey-Cumberland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born April 24, 1945, in Winslow, Ind., the daughter of Henry O. and Eula Pemberton Hays.
Surviving are one daughter, Sarah Hunt of Casey; three brothers, William Hays and Bennie Hays, both of Greenup, and Perry Hays of Humboldt; and three sisters, Anna Scales and Virginia "Jenny" Hanley, both of Greenup, and Etta Hart of Flora.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Ms. Hunt was a licensed hairdresser and volunteer for the Casey Fitness Club and Casey Senior Citizens Center.

Margaret Jones
MARTINSVILLE - Margaret Jones, age 75, of rural Martinsville, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2000 at her home.
There will be no funeral service.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2000 at the Greenwell Funeral Home in Martinsville.
The remains will be cremated.
She was born January 30, 1925 in Jasonville, IN, the daughter of Roy and Bertha (Harding) Funkhouser.
She married Robert E. Jones on December 7, 1946.
He died April 9, 1999.
She is survived by three sons, Bob Jones and Joe Jones, both of Charleston and Marty Jones of Bartlett; one daughter, Mary Jane Sappington of Martinsville; one granddaughter, Kim Downey of Casey; and six great-grandchildren.

Willye F. Kirtley
MATTOON - Willye F. Kirtley, age 95, of Mattoon, passed away 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2000 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services Tuesday.
Willye F. Kirtley was born November 1, 1905 at Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of James and Mary Susan DeWitt Booth.
She is survived by her children, Charles Chapman and wife Dorothy of Arcola, Dorothy Aubrey of Mattoon and daughter-in-law Shirley Chapman of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, eight great-step-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-step-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Warren "Bud" Chapman, a son-in-law S.W. Aubrey, one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Kirtley attended the First Alliance Church.

Mildred Kirk McMillan
Mildred Kathryn Kirk McMillan, age 87, of Mattoon, passed away at 3:35 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2000, at the Harmony Center of the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home.
Graveside funeral services celebrating her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Campground Cemetery with the Reverend James Dona officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Schilling Funeral Home.
Mildred was born April 10, 1913, in Toledo, a daughter of John and Mary Dobbs Cowan.
She married Andrew S. Kirk in 1934.
He preceded her in death in 1991.
She married Glenn McMillan in 1992. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one son, Andy Kirk and wife Karren of Mahomet; one daughter, Carol Atteberry and husband Carroll of rural Neoga; two sisters, May Heckman of Hales Corners, Wisc. and Estelline Walker of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. McMillan was a homemaker who volunteered her time with the Girl Scouts of America.
She was a former member of the Farm Bureau.
She was a HAM radio operator and loved to quilt and write poetry.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000 at Taber Funeral Home, Oakland with Pastor Colby Dickinson officiating.

Lucile was born December 28, 1913 at Newman, Illinois the daughter of R.C. & Hazel White Ogdon.
She married Ellwood McNabb on Sept. 18, 1931 at GreenCastle, Indiana.
He died in 1974.She is survived by 1 daughter; Mrs. Bill (Karen) Siegel of Winter Haven, Florida, 1 Granddaughter; Kristen Siegel; 2 Step-Grandchildren: Rick & Barry Siegel; all of Winter Haven, Florida.
She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers; Ferrell & Richmond Ogdon and 1 sister; Verla Louise Ogdon.
Also She was preced in death by 1 son-Coleman McNabb and 1 Granddaughter Brenna Greer Sarah Siegel.
Mrs. McNabb was a member of the Hindsboro Methodist Church and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven.
She was the volunteer of the year in 1996 for Fruitland Park School.
Lucile was a retired manager of catering services division at Eastern Illinois University; Charleston, Ill.
Robert A. Morgan
CHARLESTON, IL - Robert A. Morgan, age 74 of rural Charleston, passed away on Friday, December 1, 2000 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Services celebrating his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2000 with Reverend Ray Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held this evening (Monday) from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Services and visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston.
Interment, with military rites performed by the Honor Guard of Veterans of Foreign Wars Paul McVey Post 1592 of Charleston, will follow in Union Cemetery, north of Rardin.
Robert was born August 12, 1926 in Morgan Township in Coles County, Illinois, the son of Lonza Alexander and Celesta A. (McCallister) Morgan.
He married Patricia Rose Shoot in Charleston on June 5, 1949.
She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Jeannie Raye Hungler and her husband Ronald A. of Charleston and Cindy Kaye Shanks and her husband Charlie A. of Palm Bay, Florida; two sons, Randall Lon Morgan and his wife Carolyn J. and Bradley Robert Morgan and his wife Brenda J., all of Charleston; four grandchildren, Angela Hackett and her husband Scott, Jeramy Morgan and his wife Jennifer and Kimberly Ross and her husband Ken, all of Charleston and Cherie Simpson and her husband Curtis of Bloomington, Illinois; four great grandchildren, Hannah J. Morgan, Sydney J. Morgan, Wyatt C. Morgan and Gabriel M. Lackey, all of Charleston, and two sisters, Evelyn Witwer of Charleston and Kathleen Mills and her husband Allen of Georgetown, Illinois.
He was preceded by his parents and one sister, Mildred Danneberger.
His roots were deep in Morgan Township; he farmed there for fifty-one years, and during his childhood became a member of the Rardin Presbyterian Church.
His passion for farming and the friendships he enjoyed with his neighbors in Morgan township was exceeded only by his devotion to his family.
Robert was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, camping , and train trips.

CHEYENNE, WYO. - Clarence Lee Newlin, 85, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Friday (Dec. 1, 2000) at Cheyenne Health Care Center in Cheyenne, Wyo.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Markwell & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Marsh officiating.
Burial will be in Hazel Dell Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1915, in Andarka, Okla., the son of Roy Calvin and Mattie Ethyl Hall Newlin.
He married Gladys Huddleston in 1954.
She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Sandy Cox of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sons, Chuck Newlin and Roy Newlin, both of Cheyenne, Wyo.; one brother, George W. Newlin of Decatur; three sisters, Mary Jane Blunk and Nita Hills, both of Martinsville and Zita Zimmerman of Decatur; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Newlin was retired from the 90th Civil Engineering Squadron and was a WW II Navy veteran.
He was a charter member of Casey VFW Post 5762 and 50-year member of Martinsville American Legion Post 0515.

Howard Reichart
Howard Dewitt Reichart, age 82, of Mattoon, passed away at 6:12 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2000, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
Funeral services celebrating his life will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Ron Dickinson and the Reverend Joe Diener officiating.
Burial will be in the Dodge Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Monday evening at the Schilling Funeral Home with Masonic rites beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Howard was born at Brunswick, Shelby County, on October 24, 1918, a son of Bert B. and Julia C. Hardy Reichart.
He married Iva Mae Waymire on October 28, 1938, at St. Louis, Missouri.
Survivors include his wife, Iva M. Reichart of Mattoon; three sons, Roger Dean Reichart and wife Frances I. of Castro Valley, California, Tommy Lynn Reichart and wife Sharon L. of Boca Raton, Florida and Barry Bland Reichart and wife Susan L. of Chatham, Illinois; six grandchildren, Derek A. Reichart of Redondo Beach, Calif., Andrea J. Cabral and husband Lance of Castro Valley, Calif., Shannon R. Reichart and wife Jessica of Colorado Springs, Colo., Carrie J. Reichart of Atlanta, Georgia, Casey A. Reichart and Brook N. Reichart , both of Chatham, Illinois; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew Dean Cabral, Justin Ryan Cabral and Nicholas Tyler Cabral, all of Castro Valley, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Mr. Reichart was an auditor for the State of Illinois.
He served as Administrator for the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home, from which he retired in 1977.
Howard was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mattoon, the Illinois Order of Odd Fellows, American Legion Post 88, V.F.W. Post 4325, and 32nd Degree Mason and Past Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge in Findlay and member of the Ansar Shrine in Springfield and Scottish Rites in Belleville.
