87-year-old Cisne resident, Orea Williams died at 9:05 Thursday morning, July 14, 2005, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Mike Williams of Odessa, Fla., and three grandchildren, Kory Williams, Josh Williams and Sean Williams, all of Florida.

Funeral services for Orea Williams will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial in Cisne Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 til 8 Friday evening, July 15, at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne.

Mildred Geneva "Babe" Moore

85-year-old Olney resident, Mildred Geneva "Babe" Moore died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday morning, July 13, 2005, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Babe Moore is survived by two sons, Tom Moore of West Salem, and Ron Moore of Boca Raton, Florida; one brother, Fremont Walker of Olney; a twin sister Genevieve Miller of Olney; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Babe Moore will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Violet N. Draper

65-year-old Mount Vernon resident, Violet N. Draper died at 1:43 Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2005, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Services for Violet N. Draper will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, at the Archie L. Sanders Chapel of Thomason Cemetery at Wayne City.

Visitation will be from 5 til 7 Tuesday evening, July 12, at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, and from 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, until the time of service at the Archie L. Sanders Chapel at Thomason Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.

Dallas R. Jelley

58 year old Geff resident, Dallas R. Jelley, died at 3:50 p.m. Friday, July 8th, 2005 in Geff. He had been a farmer.

Surviving are his wife Dean Jelly; his father, Ray Jelley of Geff; 3 daughters, Betty Harrelson and Anna Marie Hallam both of Fairfield, and Rhonda Wilson of Arkansas; a son, Jeremy Jelley of Geff; a brother, Bill Jelley of Geff; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Dallas R. Jelley will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 14th at the Johnson Chapel. Burial in Bestow Cemetery in Geff.

Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 13th at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Haylie Michelle Weiss

19 year old Albion resident, Haylie Michelle Weiss, died at 7:45 a.m. Friday, July 8th, 2005 in Grayville.

Surviving are her father, George Weiss of Fairfield; her mother, Stacey Weiss of Evansville, Indiana; her step-mother, Karen Weiss of Fairfield; grandparents, Jane and Frank Saltsgaver of Allendale, and John and Nancy Rayborn of Allendale; a brother, Derick Lowe of Allendale; and a step-brother, Mick Merkel of Fairfield.

Funeral services for Haylie Michelle Weiss will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 11th at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Visitation from noon Monday, July 11th until the time of service at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Jessie K. Bunting

96 year old Rt. 1 Ellery resident, Jessie K. Bunting, died at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 7th, 2005 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.

Surviving are 2 grandsons, Dr. Don St. Ledger and Ken St. Ledger both of Albion; a son-in-law, Earl St. Ledger of Albion; and 2 great-grandchildren, Todd and Eric St. Ledger of Albion.

Funeral services for Jessie K. Bunting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, July 11th at Little Prarie Christian Church. Burial in Graceland Cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 12th.

Visitation from 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 11th until the time of service at the Little Prarie Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Albion Senior Citizens and the Little Prarie Christian Church.

Nale's Funeral Home in Albion is in charge of the arrangements.

Willard Dale Hutchcraft

86-year-old Wayne City resident, Willard Dale Hutchcraft died at 6:40 Thursday morning, July 7, 2005, at his home. He was a retired laborer.

Survivors include daughters, Alma Linsenby of Peoria and Audrey Shelton of Washington, Il., sisters, Wilma Martin of Fairbury, Il., Wanda Lowery of Fairfield, Dorothy Shell of Wayne City, Velma Dean Bailey of Fairfield and Eva Bailey of Mill Shoals, Il.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Willard Dale Hutchcraft will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with burial in Garrison Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Maxine Wood

89-year-old Fairfield resident, Maxine Wood died at 5:30 Thursday morning, July 7, 2005, in Iowa Park, Texas. She was the widow of Arnold Wood.

Survivors include daughters, Ann Brown of Carmi and Mary Haught of Texas; a sister, Claudie Shehorn of Dixon, Il., 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Maxine Wood will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, until the time of service at the Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Flossie Marie Kittle

98-year-old Wayne City resident, Flossie Marie Kittle died at 3:35 Wednesday morning, July 6, 2005, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Robert Kittle of Wayne City, a daughter, Maxine Buchanan of Fairfield; sisters, Nora Aaron of Champaign, Thelma Epperson of Washington, Il., and Peg Heffron of Buffalo Grove, Il.; ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and 6 step-great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Flossie Marie Kittle will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City with burial in Thomason Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, July 9, until the time of service at the Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City.

Charles L. Tuttle

26-year-old Harrisburg native, Charles L. Tuttle of Clarksville, Tn. died June 22, 2005 at his home.

Survivors include his parents, Karen and David Vinyard of Grnad Junction, Tenn., and Harold and Ohla Tuttle of DesPlaines; three brothers, Kristofer, Nocolas and Erik Tutle of Des Plaines; a sister, Jennifer Mount of Ephrata, Washington; grandparents, Harold and Maxine Kittinger of McLeansboro, Lucille Tuttle of Eldorado and Wanda Shewmaker of Rosiclare and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Memorial service for Charles L. Tuttle will be held on Friday, July 8, in Nashville, Tenn., then at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, at the Delafield Baptist Church in Delafield, Ill.

The Harre Funeral Home of McLeansboro provided the obituary information for Charles L. Tuttle.

Tamara Joy Knight

57 year old Tamara Joy Knight of Grayville died at 10pm Saturday, July 2nd, 2005, at her home. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and worked with many of the elderly in the community.

She is survived by her husband Vertis; two sons Tony and Jason Knight both of Grayville; a daughter Emily Knight of Grayville; her father Simeon Pate Jr. of Eldorado; 5 granddaughters; 2 sisters Teresa Ullman of Carbondale and Pandy Minor of Eldorado; 2 brothers Terry Pate of Waldorf, Maryland and Rev. Tim Pate of Green ville. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Tamara Joy Knight were at 11am Wednesday, July 6th, at the Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be at the Ridge Church Cemetery west of Grayville.

Visitation was from 6-8pm Tuesday, July 5th, at the Kittinger-Fair Funeral Home in Carmi.

Shirley A. Oneil

67 year old McLeansboro resident, Mrs. Shirley A. Oneil, died at 2:50 p.m. Sunday, July 3rd, 2005 in Ferrell Hospital at Eldorado. She was a retired coal miner, having worked at the Peabody Coal and Inland Steel Coal Plants.

Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Strole of McLeansboro; a sister, Geraldine Smiechowski of Willisville, Il., a brother, Robert Lee Clark of Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Kyle E. Strole of McLeansboro and Brittany Michelle Strole of McLeansboro, and one adopted great-grandson, Nocklas Chase King of Marissa.

Funeral services for Shirley A. Oneil were 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with burial in the Oddfellows Cemetery at McLeansboro.

Visitation was noon Wednesday, July 6, until the time of service at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
