MORTON - Leavy Cummins, 92, of Morton, died at 3:57 p.m. Sunday (April 22, 2001) at his residence.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home in Peoria.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Peoria.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born May 27, 1908, in Harrisburg, the son of William and Tishia Brown Cummins.
He married Jewel Parton in 1930; she died in 1989.
Surviving are three sons, Len Cummins of Casey, Dave Cummins of St. Peters, Mo., and Bill Cummins of Peoria; two daughters, Doris Hensley of Peoria and Olive Diffenderfer of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; one brother, William T. Cummins of Morton; 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, one brother and one sister.
Mr. Cummins was employed at Caterpillar Inc., retiring in 1973.
Eugene Lang
GLOUCESTER, Mass. - Eugene Lang, 82, of Gloucester, Mass., died Sunday (April 22, 2001).
Burial will be today in Massachusetts.
He was born in 1918, the son of Earl and Anna Lang. His wife, Mary, survives.
Also surviving are four children; one sister, Jackie Newell of Charleston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two sons and one brother.
Mary Lenkner
MUNHALL, Pa. - Mary Antoinette Lenkner, 88, of Munhall, Pa., died at 2:15 a.m. Monday (April 23, 2001) at her home.
Arrangements are incomplete at Solvakis-Glenn Funeral Home in Munhall.
She was born May 31, 1913, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of George and Mary Nadzam.
She married William J. Lenkner in 1937; he died in 1984.
Surviving are one daughter, Mother Scholastica (Josephine) of Bethlehem, Conn.; four sons, Bill Lenkner of Mattoon, George Lenkner of York, Pa., and John and James Lenkner, both of Pittsburgh; one brother, Father John Nadzam of Munhall, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Lenkner was a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church in Munhall.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the donor's choice.

TOLEDO - Mildred M. Titus, 89, of Toledo, died at 2:15 p.m. Monday (April 23, 2001) at the Cumberland Nursing Center in Greenup.

Robert Vonderheide
EFFINGHAM - Robert F. Vonderheide, 63, of Effingham, died at 6:12 p.m. Sunday (April 22, 2001) at Lynncrest Manor in Effingham.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Effingham.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Shumway.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today with a 6 p.m. parish wake service at the Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.
He was born Feb. 21, 1938, in Stewardson, the son of Henry and Helen Meyer Vonderheide.
Surviving are one son, Keith of Stewardson; six daughters, Judy Repking of Effingham, Joyce Mitchell of Olathe, Kan., Nancy Capezzuto of Aurora, Lisa Will of Effingham, Beth McChuen of Belleville and Jennifer Swearingen of Mattoon; three brothers, Jim of Shumway, Tom of Stewardson and Charlie of Stewardson; one sister, Mary Lou Goeckner of Effingham; three stepbrothers, Dave Deters of Teutopolis, and Dan Deters and Doug Deters, both of Sigel; three stepsisters, Judy Lueken of Teutopolis, Debbie Lecrone of Effingham and Marsha Wollin of St. Peter; 10 grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Mr. Vonderheide retired in 2000 from Fedders Corporation in Effingham, where he had worked for 34 years.
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Effingham.

Pete Marucco
STONGINTON - Pete Marucco, 81, of Stonington died at 11:10 a.m. Friday (April 20, 2001) at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.
The graveside funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at the Old Stonington Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
He was born July 11, 1919, in Stonington, the son of John and Pearl Antonelli Marucco.
He married Wanda Burkhart in 1937. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tom Marucco of Clermont, Fla., and Tim Marucco of Charleston; one sister, Alba Wattelet of Taylorville; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Mr. Marucco retired from Allied Mills/Continental Grain in Taylorville.
He was a Navy veteran of WW II and a member of the Zue Vandeveer Post American Legion of Stonington and VFW Post 4495 of Taylorville.

Mary Ann Orr
HOOPESTON - Mary Ann Orr, 82, of Hoopeston died at 11:50 p.m. Friday (April 20, 2001) at The Carl Arbours in Savoy.
The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton-Orr Funeral Home in Hoopeston with the Rev. Danny A. Lybarger and the Rev. Richard C. Mader officiating.
Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Order of the Eastern Star services following.
She was born May 1, 1918, in Hoopeston, the daughter of William R. and Minnie Westfall Lowery.
She married Eugene E. Orr in 1944. He died in 1997.
Surviving are one son, William R. Orr of Hoopeston; twin daughters, Janet L. White of St. Joseph and Nancy E. Branson of Mattoon; and seven grandchildren.
Mrs. Orr was a teacher and assistant to her husband at Hamilton-Orr Funeral Home.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star 448, and the Vermilion County Museum Society.

Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery.

She was born April 1, 1914, in Farmington, Ga., the daughter of Varney and Mary Eliza Shackelford Celsor.
She married Roy J. Robinson in 1943. He survives.

"Sonny" Robinson Jr. and Mike Robinson, both of Arcola; one daughter, Patricia Abel of Mattoon; nine brothers, Harmon Celsor of Russelville, Ky., Lloyd Celsor of Hartsville, Tenn., Ned Celsor of Bowling Green, Ky., Dewey Celsor of Chicago, Edsel Celsor of Godfrey, Revely Celsor of Appleton, Wis., Web Celsor of Hendersonville, Tenn., Willie Celsor of Hebron, Ind., Jimmie Celsor of Titusville, Fla.; one sister, Ida Horn of Godfrey; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Mrs. Robinson retired from Falicity Fashions in 1970 and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Mattoon.

Lorene Rodgers
MATTOON - Lorene C. Rodgers 90, of Mattoon, passed away at 4:55 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at Mattoon Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2001 at the Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Dickinson officiating.
Interment will be in Dodge Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lorene was born January 2, 1911 at Ernst, Illinois, daughter of Roy and Myrtle Coldren Scott.
She married Melvin L. "Mel" Rodgers June 8, 1943 in Paris, Illinois; he died June 16, 1997.
Surviving are three daughters: Susan Tinder and husband Richard of Toledo, IL, Anne Rodgers of Berwyn, IL, and Mary Beth Sternberg and husband Raymond of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A daughter-in-law: Jean Churchill of Atlanta, GA; one sister: Hazel Wright of West Union, IL.
Grandchildren: Richard L. Rodgers II, Susy Horn, Mark Tinder, Becky Burger, Debbie Andersen, and Kelly Donohue.
Great-Grandchildren: Eric Miller, Jessica Matthews, Blake and Spencer Tinder, Tyler Horn, Robbie Burger, and Jack and Carly Donahue also survive.
She was preceded in death by one son: Richard L. Rodgers, one brother: Harry Scott, and one sister: Olive Strohm.
Lorene was a very active member of First United Methodist Church of Mattoon, Service Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Mattoon Senior Citizens, and Meals on Wheels.
