Bonnie Gertrude Barton, 86, of 460 Barton Trail Road, Eldorado, died 9:20 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be private.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado.
She was born Jan. 26, 1916, in Harrisburg to Maude (Brown) and the late Wriley Fox.
On June 9, 1934, she married Wilburn Barton.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Eldorado.
She is survived by a son, James W. (Donna) Barton of Owensboro, Ky.; two daughters, Helen Jean Adkisson and Jane Barton, both of Eldorado; nine brothers and sisters; a grandchild, Jason Mathew (Amanda) Barton; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Justin Barton.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice and can be left at the funeral home.

Dorothy Lee Schwartz, 79, of Galatia, died 9:45 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Galatia.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia with the Rev. Vola Sittig officiating.
Burial will be in Webber Campground.

She was born March 17, 1923, in Galatia to the late Albert and Lillie (Ramsey) Jerdon.
On Nov. 4, 1938, she married Emerson Schwartz in Mt. Vernon, Ind.
She was a member of Carrier Mills Baptist Church.
She worked at the dress factory in Eldorado for three years, and she worked at the cap factory in Harrisburg for 15 years.
She also drove a school bus for Galatia Unit 1 School District.
She is survived by a son, Garry Schwartz of Galatia; a daughter, Darline Nevious of Galatia; a sister, Leona Irvin of Galatia; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Bill Jerdon; and a sister, Lorene Goolsby.

Ella Lucinda (Smith) Davis, 90, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of McLeansboro, died 4:05 a.m. Monday, May 27, 2002, at Springfield Rehab Center.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Bill Reed officiating.
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Florence Miller Wilson Downen
Florence Miller Wilson Downen, 91, of Ridgway, died 5:10 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Fountain View Nursing Home in Eldorado.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Vickery Funeral Chapel in Ridgway with the Rev. Leo Hall officiating.
Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Omaha.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born July 6, 1910, in Asbury Township to the late Andrew J. and Zoa F. (Greer) Wilson.
On March 19, 1932, she married Carl Alfred Downen, who preceded her in death on July 17, 1978.
She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Bible Church in Norris City.
She is survived by a sister, Jessie Rogge of Evansville, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Zoanna Downen, on August 18, 1986.

Sue Chapman, 63, of Carmi, formerly of McLeansboro, died 5:53 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Billie Duncan officiating.
Private family burial will be at the White County Memorial Garden Cemetery in Carmi.
There will be no visitation.
Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by three ex-husbands, four sons, three sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two infant sisters, and one brother.
Mae Henderson

Mae Henderson, 94, of McLeansboro and formerly of Omaha, died at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9th, 1996 at McLeansboro Health Care.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Henderson was born on May 13, 1902, in Thackeray, a daughter of John Wesley and Sara (Helms) Ledford.
She married Robert A. Henderson, who preceded her in death on March 4, 1966.
She was a member of General Baptist Church in Omaha.
The funeral was at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 1996 at Edwards Funeral Chapel in Omaha.

Burial was in Palenstine No. 2 Cemetary in Omaha.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by one daughter, Ruby Abston of McLeansboro; two sons, Earnest Henderson of Maunie and Clyde Henderson of Omaha; one sister, Florence Ledford of McLeansboro; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter Mattie Braden.
Dave Anselment

Dave Julius Anselment, 54, of Dahlgren, died 10:48 p.m. October 10, 1996, at Hamilton Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Anselment was born February 22, 1942, in Hamilton County, a son of Albert P. and Auerlia (Roesch) Anselment.
His wife Betty (Rubenacker) Anselment survives.
Services were Oct. 12 at Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Daniel, Thomas and Pete, all of McLeansboro; two daughters, Janet Anselment and Sue Wilkerson of Dahlgren; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Albert T. Anselment of Mt. Vernon, Anton Anselment of McLeansboro and William Anselment of Dahlgren; six sisters, Dolores Anselment of Fenton, Mo., Marcells Heath of Elgin, and Cleo Rapp, Rita Grubb, and Mary Rawls all of Dahlgren and Sharon Rapp of Belle Rive.
He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Dahlgren and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul; a sister, Bernadine Spencer and one grandchild.
Mary Elizabeth Groves

Mary Elizabeth Groves, 72, of Evansville, IN, died at 7:20 a.m. on Saturday, October 12th, 1996, at Welborn Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Groves was a seamstress.
Mrs. Groves was the daughter of Olford and Mable (Bowers) Reed.
She married Thomas Groves, who survives.
She was a niece of Bonnie Munsell.
She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church and its All City Bible Class, the Postal Clerks Auxiliary and National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
She was also a member of the McLeansboro Township High School class of 1941.
The funeral was at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 1996, at Alexander Funeral Home.

Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Groves is survived by her husband of 51 years, Thomas E. Groves; two daughters, Rebecca Griepenstroh of Evansville, and Charlotte Fehd of Haubstadt, IN; one son, Daniel of Marietta, GA; one sister, Evelyn Allen and husband Arthur of McLeansboro; six grandchildren, Zach Griepenstroh, Sarah, Lori and Aaron Fehd and Jennifer and Jason Groves.

Neva Jane Proctor, 74, of Florence, KY, and formerly of Wayne City died at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13th, 1996 at her home.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Proctor was born on January 25, 1922, in Belvidere, IL, a daughter of Oscar and Anna (Brewer) Wolfe.
She married Waldo "Wally" Proctor.
She was a member of the Northern Kentucky Church of Christ in Florence, KY.
