Charles M. Aghetta, 87, of Bethalto, died May 29, 1997, in Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton. He married Alberta Cook, who preceded him in death. He owned Aghetta's Grocery in Bethalto for 35 years, and then Chuck's Barber Shop and Tool Sharpening Service for the past 15 years. Aghetta was a charter member of the Bethalto Rotary Club, and was named a Paul Harris Fellow by that organization. Services were through Elias-Smith in Bethalto.
